📆 Week 14, Harvest 11-20 January 2024 11 January - I made a determination to cut light power to 25%, and go to a 12/12 schedule, instead of turning light offs for 3 days. After a review of current philosophies and theories - I understand there may be a possibility that coldness, not light, could be more associated with a terpene and cannabinoid boost during this end process. So I will try something new. . 13 January - Harvest Day. When I opened the tent, the smell of fresh berries, sweet, ripe, heavy with a slight scent of pine filled the air. I cut branches and all shade leaves off, without damaging the sticky buds, and hung them to dry. The closet was at a low 35% RH (due to the 0-5 degree F temps outside) and 60 degrees F. It will remain here with circulation for about 5-7 days. 18 January - The buds were small enough and the closet RH staying staying 35%, it was ready to trim and jar up. This wasn’t too bad a process actually. The leaves flaked off prefectly leaving the bud in tact, so most of the trimming was done by hand using my fingertips, not clippers. A delicate process but fast once you get the hang of it. I’ve weighed and jared them up, along with a boveda 62% RH packet #8 in with each. Here they will stay and cure until their peak THC/terpene levels are reached at about 30-40 days, burped daily until a RH of 62% is reached and maintained. 📑 Product Review: Hybrid Indica Dominate The outcome: 4.2 ounces/119 grams of quality bud in about 90 days. The developer says just under 65 days, this could be done, it would have to be manipulated somewhat. The buds appear large, compact in size, but not so dense, a true bush variety. They are however loaded with trichomes and covered in resin. There is an excessive amount of sugar leaves that make it more challenging for the beginner to know how to care for it in later stages, especially flower. This pheno definately turned purple. ✂️ Harvest on 13 January 🌊 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 💡 Light power at 25% That is it for this grow. Thanks for the look, read and stopping by.

Week 10 not long now these smell amazing like sweet blueberry and there's definitely something I've had before when I've bought some personal but can't quite get my head round the smell. started introducing overdrive now as they start to finish fattening and ripening up can definitely see swelling going on over the last 3 days thanks for viewing and happy

It went pretty good this week (*I'm sorry because of ly work I could not take pictures this week so you have 2 videos*). I will not cut anymore branches before turn into flowering next week, normally it will be a 20 week grow from seed to budd I hope great results with this Cheese from Greenhouse Seeds Company :)

Welcome to my new diary! I'll be chronicling my experience growing Runtz photoperiod by Zamnesia. This is actually a grow I just finished, but I'm excited to share the journey with you now. As always I'll grow in a DWC system, this time in a 2x2 grow tent. To manage the environment, I'm using a Vents TT100 for air extraction and an Hailea air pump to keep the 20-liter DWC pot well-oxygenated. That 20-liter capacity should be enough to let the plant cruise for a few days without needing a refill, even when it's deep into the flowering stage. Lighting will be provided by a 150 watt lamp, which I'll run on an 18/6 schedule during veg and switch to 12/12 for flowering. As for nutrients, I'll be using the Plagron hydro line. To keep a really close eye on all the critical parameters like temperature, RH, CO2, PH, and PPFD, I'm relying on my Tent-X system by TrolMaster. It's a fantastic piece of kit that allows me to control and dim the light remotely, also includes a smoke detector. 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 GROW JOURNAL 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 🗓️ WEEK 1 (veg) 🔙 Kicking things off, I prepared all the materials. The clay pebbles received a 20-minute boil followed by a 24-hour soak in demineralized water adjusted to pH 5.8. I gave the air stones a 24-hour bath in a water and vinegar solution, rinsing them thoroughly afterward. The root riot cube also soaked for a few hours in water at pH 5.8. 🌱 With preparations complete, I placed the seed into the root-riot cube on day 1, nestled it in the net-pot, and surrounded it with clay pebbles. The light was set to an 18/6 cycle, positioned 50 cm away, and running at 50 watts. I hand-watered the seedling with approximately 5 ml of demineralized water directly onto the clay twice daily, while the DWC reservoir below held 20 liters of a light nutrient solution: EC 0.6 - pH 5.8. On day 4, the seedling emerged and was exposed to the grow light for the first time. Concluding a successful first week, by day 7, it had already pushed several roots out of the net pot and down into the nutrient solution.

Started flush day 49, very happy apart from a bit of heat stress from the crazy hot weather over the last week. Quality again is looking 10/10.

Flowering day 22 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Another great week that is over. They all develop exactly as it should be 💚. Since the last leaf and substrate application against tripse, I finally haven't seen any of the little biters 👍. Watering was done twice this week with 1.3 l each time (see table above for nutrients). The lowest shoots were removed so that the energy is not wasted in the lower part :-) . Otherwise, as always, everything was cleaned and checked. Fresh osmosis water was filled with stale tap water in a 100 L tank for the coming week 👍. Hey Friends, end of week 8 from seed :) Many new things have occurred this week Plant 1 is beginning to mature, its not growing in height as much as before but now its getting thicker and looking stronger. I am slowing increasing the amount of nutrition, I don't want to burn them at this stage. I noticed some of the leaf stems were turning red, so I decreased the light and its turning back to green. Did some defoliation this week to give more room to the smaller leaves. Plant was getting taller and was too close to the grow Light so I installed some netting inside the tent and it helped control the height for now, if it gets taller ill purchase a bigger grow tent 😩 Looking forward in seeing some bud formation in week 9, will keep you guys posted. Super stoked for last week, watching her flower is pretty incredible, so from pretty much week 9 of veg up till now I've been feeding her half strength base nutrients with fluctuating strengths of sensizym and Cal-Mag always mixed with 8L of basic filtered water. Update January 5 2020. Back from my fishing trip! Happy to say that everything with the durban is going swimmingly, I fed her today 8L with half strength base nutrients and half strength of sensizym. I will probably do one more feeding with sensizym and call it good.. in two-three weeks I will start adding my Overdrive nutrients to my base. January 11 update: Not much going. Just playing the waiting game now. January 13 update: its gotten really cold here, like -37 with wind so I put a ceramic heat emitter back in, now back up to 250w heat running 24/7. Growing in an unheated shop is definitely a challenge! But with the other one in things are picking up and shits drying out finally. Should have put the other heater back in a week ago. My bad. January 15 update: -37!! Holy fu*ck, fed her 3L of mixed nutrients at half strength. With just a splash of overdrive. January 17 update: outside temps finally warming up to -25°c yay!! Inside grow box temps up to 28°c she likes it warm, Fed her the remaining food I had mixed up, she got about 5L. Seeing fattening of the bud sites👀👌 January 19 update: No idea when this happened but it did.. got a crack right at first top. Now I know to leave more of stem above where it splits off into two. Quick tape fix till I figure it out, fed her 5L of mixed food with just under full strength OverDrive and some organic growth plus.. it has a high pk so I'm using it once. January 21 update: things are slowing down now, just a waiting game to find that nice mix of cloudy/amber trichomes. Might feed one more time then it's on to flushing! January 23 update. Fed her another 5L of mixed nutrients with full strength OverDrive. Seems how I have about 2-3weeks left, that will be the last feed. I have lots of "buffer" leaves and pretty sure I've been overfeeding a bit so it's now flush time.. I will be flushing for last 2-3 weeks with just plain PH'd tap water. My "buffer" leaves should keep it going till it's time. January 25 update: first flush done with about 8L of store bought RO water. Water that came out was slightly brown. No point checking run off yet as its first flush. I will check ppms next flush in a few days. She's starting to smell really good! Like an earthy diesel . January 27 update: wasn't going to but the leaves are dry as f*** so dumped in another 8l of RO flush water. Trichomes are I'd say 99 to 100% cloudy with a few Amber's here and there.. I will try to time it for Feb 1st harvest. If I'm a few days early due to flushing coco then so be it. January 28 update: no water. Still seeing some slight fattening of the buds. Every bud site including the lower pop corn buds are just covered in dense trichomes🤤 I'm going to have some pretty killer trim to work with.. I will be making canna butter for the first time😀 side note: will be cleaning the grow box tomorrow when the lights are on. January 29 update: None. I did however find out sunglasses make great UV filters for taking pictures and videos 👍 January 30 update: None. January 31 update: large flush with about 14L of water, cleaned out run off tray. That's pretty much it.. oh, trimmed a few more leaves that were covering any buds. So close I can almost taste it!!! 🤤🤤 sure not very strong smelling though🤨. I'm sure that will change once I start chopping into her. February 1st update: 10L flush, noticed one of my intake fans has been off for some time now🤦‍♂️🏻 fired that back up. I did mention that I might harvest today.. she's not quite ready yet, I will let her dry out 3days prior and do a 48hr darkness prior to harvest as well. February 3rd update: last day of week 16, trichomes are right where I want them for the affect I'm after.(and will continue to amber up during cure) So tonight I will be chopping her down. Going to do a "wet" trim and hang buds in the drying rack till ready for curing jars. Planning on a 3 week minimum cure time. I would to thank everyone for the kind words/likes and encouragement!! This week started off a vegative week and about halfway through became a flowering week. Since I had already started it as vegative I didn't change it. Number one and number two, the two big ones, showed their sex on day 51 or day two of this week. Plant 3 showed sex on day 53 or day 4 of this week. I've increased their feed to my veg two formula and the iron supplement has really improved the color it rained day 1,2, and 3 so far this week and I included a 10 day forecast from day 3. We've had rain and high humidity at night cloud cover all day and nights dropping below 70f. These girls are eating it up with no issues. This was a hard week. One of my other big plants split right down the middle from the wind. It rained so much twice a day to all day this whole week. I had to add dry organic nutrients and let the rain water it in. I added 2 cups of 2-4-3, 1 cup of 0-10-10, and 1 cup of 12-0-0. These have really been troopers for some very difficult outdoor conditions.

She's coming on nicely buds coming all the way up the branches she's gonna be short an stocky still no frost but loads of nodes closely stacking with buds not much else to report just bud watching thanks for reading happy growing
