Tropicanna Poison XL Auto W4F2 7/20-26 The hot weather returned with humidity and days of scattered thunderstorms. I fertilized once this week with I49 and top dressed with worm castings since I saw some yellow leaves near the bottom. Thankfully with all the rain we’ve had this month she doesn’t show any deficiencies or bud or root rot. I fertilized with I49 grow 1 tbsp/gal & 2 tbsp I49 Flower. With the extreme heat and rain, my auto Tropicanna Poison XL Auto had a huge stretch a full 7 inches this week and now at 22 inches tall. There are no nutrient deficiencies and demonstrates resistance to fungal diseases. Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement. May 18th Time for low-stress drastic measures. Her height has now reached the point where all google inquiries suggest she's sure to become badly light stressed if left to her own devices. We're flying too close to the sun, folks. I'm not convinced heat is an issue, as there's great ventilation in the room and two fans blowing constantly, but something had to be done about the diminishing distance to the light. We're down to 20cm~ from the tip of the main cola, to 25cm~ after pulling her to the side a little with some trusty red string. Somehow there's no sign of stress on the leaves, but they say this usually shows up after the damage has been done, so we'll so how things pan out. I'll keep pulling her further away as needed. Hardly ideal, but not exactly unexpected. I've also ripped out some mosquito netting that was blocking some of the airflow from the window the extractor fan vent tube leads to. It was all gummed up with dust and cobwebs. Since removing it the airflow from the room is venting outside much more smoothly, lowering the humidity of the room by a few points. I've even seen it reach as low as 55%, which is a new low. Previously the humidity wouldn't go lower than 69%, which is a funny number I admit but I'll take a number without meme-connotations in favor of a lessened likelihood of bud rot any day. I've doubled the dose of top-max from 1lm/l to 2ml/l. Bio-biz suggest 4ml/l at this point, so we're playing it safe. Fingers crossed as always.

Week 8 of flowering!

Esta es la última semana de estiramiento. Espero que no sigan subiendo. Apliqué LST para mantener la altura. Por el momento vienen sanas, pero tardan mucho en mostrar las pre flores. Hice una defoliación fuerte en todos los bajos. Voy a dejar pocas ramas laterales, pero algunas voy a dejar. Aún no se junta suficiente humedad como para poner el ventilador, y con la ventilación es suficiente para moverlas. De todos modos en una semana o dos lo prenderé. Por el momento estoy expectante de todo. Día 10. Las plantas se están estirando demasiado. Espero que frenen pronto para evitar un LST en todas las ramas. Aún las pre flores están muy cerradas, pero tengo fé en que pronto se verán. La temperatura en general ha bajado un poco, pero dentro de todo mantengo un máximo de 26C°, pero intentaré subir un poco. Seguiremos actualizando. Día 12. Tuve que hacer un atado de plantas importante. Pero pude manejar la altura al momento. Ya se acaba el estiramiento, pero las pre flores aún siguen muy inmaduras para dos semanas. Son las desventajas de un mal bioestimulante. Pero ya van dos semanas y se nota en la estructura de los troncos. La semana que viene empieza la nutrición mas fuerte. Día 14. Cierra la semana con un LST furioso. Até todas las plantas, incluso el caño que uso de anclaje lo tuve que atar a la base que sostiene los caños. El estiramiento fue fuerte. Tuve que cortar algunas ramas que quedaron muy debajo. Todavía me cuesta visualizar cómo quedarán esas flores cuando engorden. Ya mañana comienza la nueva semana y espero que sea una semana de cambios interesantes. Mirando otros diarios viejos en mi teléfono, me encontré que formulaba de entrada con 1,2g./l de feeding. Así que imagino que voy a volver a esas dosis un poco mast agresivas. Tengo buenos recuerdos de los resultados anteriores.

first week of flowering, started on sept. 21th. irrigation being tuned weekly due to climate and drinking variations. ipm foliar sprayed on monday 18th with ohn, organic fruit vinager, pumpkin ffj, neem oil, Solem "sun's fert", and neutral soap. on thursday 21th and saturday 23th ipm foliar sprayed with EM5, liquid quillaia extract, Solem "sun's fert" and epson salt.
