Week 3 update and all systems go for launch. We’re flipping to flower exactly 21 days from seed and so far, the mix looks to be impressive. Counting about 4 males (one that won’t make the cut), 2 indica leaning phenos and the rest are sativa leaning. Side branching has also been impressive so we should be able to pull some rootable cuts within the next week or two. If we got the sexes right (it is a little early to be certain), then the dutchy cabinet will be full up for bud testing👍. Next week will tell the tale🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Such a graceful girl... she is developing her flowers with such finesse! I defoliated a little every few days so I didn’t cause any stalls in the growth and shows to have worked! I really feel i am showing I know what I’m doing with feminized plants! It’s a great feeling to actually be so relaxed during too!

This week's been real fun seeing alot of purple coming in slow leaves are turning very purple I ditched the blurple light... it was good for supplemental lighting bit it started burning the tops a bit ... however I have 2 of the exact same plants strains are same ingrow both exact same and one is a green pheno looks scraggly and the left one is the ourple phenonwhich looks absolutely stunning they are like day and night crazy cause I have done nothing different with each and the ammount of issues from right to left plant have been drastic . Lots of purple on the tip calyxes' ! And the bottom of the nugs are very sticky smelly and very very fruity I cannot wait to chose this lady, trim cure going to be so much fun...

Started ponytailing both Banana’s to get light to her lower buds for 6 hours at a time. Did more LST to the branches and main stem removed a few leaves and tucking what can be tucked. The bananas appear to both be in pre flower and they are all handling LST very well.

Day 49 flowering: Hi all , I hope your all well and healthy. I think I have made a few miscalculation errors of flowering weeks here.lol I began timing their flowering period a little later than had been flowering I think. Seeing how advanced the #2 has been the entire grow followed very closely by the #1 , and adding the natural fading and leaves dying off that is very obvious too , these are very near their ripen time. looking back over the diary to when I began timing , the buds are fairly well in process so must have begun earlier but I missed the switch with the other seedling dramas I had going on at the time. oops. I am using the time line to keep the other Gorilla girl (#4) and the switch cheese at least on track timing wise ( sort of .lol) I expect the #2 girl will be ready within 2 weeks now but will show as an early harvest on the days. I have added the Shogun Dragon Force into their feed now for a week ( 2 more feeds at least) and then its a mild feeding of the Megacrop till finish. I do love their products and have been impressed by the dragon forces result on trichs. These Darker Gorilla (#2 +#4) girls are so trich laden already and very tacky to touch with a beautiful fruity smell pushing out too. The pictures just don't compare to the live and direct context with these buds but I tried to catch their best anyway. I haven't seen any pictures on sweets seeds grows of gorilla girls that are this dark purple at all and their examples are more akin to the #1 and #3 i have . I live them appearance of the dark phenos and a sure fire selling point for them ?. @sweetseeds ?. you seen these beautiful girls guys ?. With that said the younger ladies are also doing brilliantly with the #4 starting to swell and frost up similar to her older sister#2. Her structure was set slightly looser than the other 3 to see how it altered their bud production compared. She has wider node gaps that have their own clusters with them and she has grown taller from less ties obviously but , it also created a more airy frame for the density of the buds which is a bonus in a smaller environment. I don't feel as worried about bud rot with her as I do the other 3. I plan to brutal defol one of the next autos being run to see how this affects the final result. using the same strains should be a fair comparison. The Sweet cheese has also allowed me to satisfy my curiosity and try a natural untouched grow. She has some beautiful coloured on her tight single stemmed main and the side branching is attempting to keep up with the main but nowhere near as productive . while she is a capable height , i prefer the L.S.T for shape and working on so far. Being so hands off is a new one for me too.lol Her diesel smell is really evident now and even the lowers are getting a nice chalky appearance of trichs hiding the pink hues she has going on all over. Inhave enjoyed this grow with the sweet girls and only wish I hadn't lost so many of the other strains so early on. Welcome to my Ganja Farmer contest grow. Drop a like if you want me to drop by your grows. Either way thanks for dropping by She's doing really well. Would like for her to have bigger buds. Should of started flowering her under my P1000. She has a lovely structure and some nice colors showing up on the buds which seem to be getting nice and dense 20/6/22 she's doing really well. Growing nice and strong. This time I think I'm going to have to do bud washing as the hair is just beyond a joke now. I'm going to do a deep tent clean this week. Just waiting on some stuff and I'm going to get my tents in order. Plant is at to getting struck down with what I'm nearly sure is iron defs. Found 1 to 2 leafs starting out yellow with green vains. Let the soil dry out after a few watering and gave them a boost of Iron (fe). (Have put up a video and focused partly on showing a light iron def. This leaf showed up like this 4 days ago. Took me a day to dry out the soil so it was a little harder to notice) but if I hadn't of fixed you'd of seen what looked like a N def (a yellow leaf with green vains) hope this video helps to help u. Feel free to DM me if you need me to go into any fixes 24/6 Have installed my new AC intake unit, it's more of an AC unit the way I have it set up. I have it outside the tent. And have a negative pressure environment. So, if I can drop my outside temp then in turn the inside temp will drop. There's no point in having it set up inside with the lights off as the RH will go sky high with no exhaust set up as that would defeat the purpose of having AC in an unsealed tent setup. Be good though when I want to grow with co2 this beast will have no issues keeping the temp in check. It's doing my whole top floor. Yeah, it's struggling. Have it set at 20% but it won't drop to 20% until you reach the temp you have it set at. It was 31.5 brought it down to 27.5 in 15mins and that's a top floor in a 3 bed big bedroom house. Id say it would work quicker with the door closed but my RH will only go high and I'd have to run my Dehumidifier and that well, raise the temp. Going to see what happens by dropping the temp to 24c when the air around the pre attached probe goes down to 24 it will go to the % you have it set at. But until then, (you reach the temp) it runs at full steam. It has brought the temperature down 2.8-3c in 15mins. Update. My AC unit intake is nothing but a big ass temp controlled intake, not control temperature. It does help draw up cold air from an extended 10m ducting so I can get 18c air if I want. Just gotta run big ass ducting threw my house. Just until I can punch a hole up into my attic. It runs 16c up there. But I'll need a filter 1st and then I can drop temps rapidly. Looked into an AC unit. They are affordable. A 7000 Btu unit would do my grow room. Runs at 800watts an hour but you have to hook it up to a window. My air outside at night is that temp so I'd be better just running poxy ducting from my attic using this powerful 110watt intake. It'll be great for air flow with co2 growing. I'll hook it up from the bottom to the top and run the ducting either side and let the unit sit on top of the tent. It's so powerful won't need any fans. Just co2 and high ppfd which I have now. Our Tangie decided to go all out with her growth spurt – she's stretching up like a true ninja reaching for the skies. She's growing so tall that I had to channel my inner MacGyver and grab some wire for an impromptu second support LED. Teamwork makes the dream work, right? Now, here comes the twist – she grew so rapidly that I just couldn't wait until day 21 for that defoliation dance. Nope, I decided to take action at day 19! Check out the edited video included in this report – it's like witnessing a botanical makeover! And speaking of twists, you won't believe what happened next. In the scorching heat, after some serious defoliation action, I found solace in a picole ice-cream. Because hey, even ninja gardeners need a sweet break! And guess who were my accomplices? My trusty ninja buddies, of course. They know how to keep it cool. As if that wasn't adventurous enough, we applied a second layer of the scrog net. And let me tell you, by the end, my gloves were coated in that stickie, fragrant resin. Sticky fingers, sticky situation, totally worth it! Oh, and let's not forget my quirky habit of bottom watering. Why, you ask? It's like a secret ninja technique – it encourages the roots to reach down deep and fosters a stronger root system. What up grow fam. Update for these lovely ladies. They started to go into preflower so I'm glad I did a defoliation and lollipop earlier this week. I will switch from Athenas Blended Line Grow A&B to Bloom A&B with a PK Booster. They got a little out of ph in the soil as I completely forgot to calibrate my ph/ppm meter. Now they seem to be bouncing back ok. All in all Happy Growing.

Finally started seeing some baby buds! YES!!! I really start running into issues with humidifier staying on so I've basically gave up on it, at some point around here I added a heater near the inlet fan and it's jumped the temp numbers up quite a bit Some log entries: 1/21: Fed w/ 2 gallons for all 4 15ml big bloom, 10ml grow big and tiger bloom, 2.5ml cleankelp. all units per ga h2o 1/24: Fed w week 7 noots, trimmed 1-4, heavy on 1 & 4
