Week 18 Middle August : weather is changing. Return of heat and humidity: 28 degrees, a little bit rain. A heat wave is coming but near the ocean the maximum will be around 32 degrees. It’s good to grow in greenhouse during this period : -ventilation control: I adapted the rythme: for now it’s around 18h/24h intermittently -pests and diseases control: insect’s traps natural and artificial, less heat -humidity control: no rain problem Daylight 14h: 7h/21h Flowering time 😁. Healthy plant, beautiful green color, just a few yellow leaves on the base. More watering: 1,5L every 60 hours Same cocktail: Calmag (0,5ml/L)+ FloraGro (2ml/L), FloraMicro (2ml/L), FloraBloom (1ml/L) + Root booster + Cannazym Feeding soil with guano bat (NPK 3/6/10) for a slow dispersion + dried horn and blood (NOK 13/0/0) for nitrogen add. Protecting plant: sprayed Neem Oil, added diatomaceous earth on soil. I found signs of thrips attack. I will make a defoliation soon.

The buds are fattening and getting covered with trichomes very well, most of them are healthy and flowering at the same stage, orange pistols are already popping out, thinking about harvesting in a week or some.

The grow began with great anticipation for these two legendary strains: 420FastBuds Blue Dream and 420FastBuds Moby Dick. Both strains demonstrated strong initial vigor, living up to their reputations. After planting, the seeds of both Blue Dream and Moby Dick sprouted quickly, with healthy roots emerging after just 32 hours. This rapid germination was a promising sign of the robust growth potential these strains are known for. At the 44-hour mark, the seedlings were introduced to their first light. Both Blue Dream and Moby Dick responded well, showing strong early development. The stems appeared sturdy, and the initial leaves were vibrant and healthy. With such a solid start, the grow journey for Blue Dream and Moby Dick is off to an excellent beginning. The fast germination and quick adaptation to light suggest these plants are well on their way to becoming the potent, resilient specimens they are famed for.

This is my first ever grow I have decided to go for Cash Crop from Cream Of The Crop Seeds and have made myself a DIY Aero/Hydroponic system from a few bits I picked up from site, B&Q and a pet shop so it will be interesting to see how it turns out! Happy growing 🌱

start of 3. Week of flower

This was probably one of best looking plants I’ve done outdoor, grew really well in the new spot. Had a great main cola with many decent sized side branches. Didnt even do any training on this girl and produced plenty. Next year will do this again but peak summer and do some training on her. What a great plant, especially in the uk weather she holded off nicely. Big thanks to barneys farm for sending me these strains to try out. That’s all, happy growing 🌱

Day 31 - 38 (Day 32) I’m going to lower the humidity in the room to 55-60. Still no bananas but I’m still quite worried about #3 fully popping and ruining my whole crop. Since there is a good chance it’s going to herm, I’m going to give it with a small feeding today and watch it like a hawk this week. I think the boost actually made a decent difference in #5 from last week. I’m seeing slightly fatter main colas but that could just be from less topping/smaller plant or less nitrogen. I’ve decided to push my luck and give a boost to each plant. These things just aren’t filling out like they should. They look like they are on day 23 not 33. I’m going to top dress 3 tablespoons of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and later tonight I’m going to water in a low strength feeding of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m going to give a final heaping tablespoon of nature’s pride bloom to #5 so it can stretch to the end. I’m also going to lower the lights by a few inches. The tallest cola is now about 13 inches away and the rest of the canopy is at about 18–24. If I see signs of light stress I’ll raise it back up but I’m sure it could use the extra light on the lowers. (Day 33) I’ve been reading that bigger plants just take longer to mature and that’s probably why my plant hasn’t fully filled out or is about a week behind. I still could have done a better job defoliating some of the smaller larf branches on the bottom which just robs the good branches of energy. The more I think about it, the more I think I did a very poor job of defoliating the middle canopy. I’m still seeing lots of larf and small buds on the inside not getting much light. I’m still really worried about herms after finding that branch so I don’t want to stress them anymore. Removing suckers now is pointless. I missed my window of opportunity and now I have to deal with it. I’m going to slide an old DVD player underneath #6 to bring it up to canopy level. It’s lower buds are definitely not getting enough light. (Day 34) Ever since lowering the light, the canopy has gotten a few degrees warmer. I’ve noticed the buds don’t feel as sticky on top compared to the lower tucked branches that feel almost wet with resin. Outdoor weed grown in my climate will never reach the temperature where it degrades resin luckily. (Day 36) The buds are definitely swelling but not to the degree I want. Call me picky but I prefer my nugs as chunky as possible. I’m seeing lots of pistils but not much nug matter. Ive heard too many pistils can be caused by the overuse of alfalfa, kelp and seaweed extracts because of the natural PGR’s in them. I’m definitely going to reduce the amount of that stuff I use next round. I hope I’m just wrong and this tent is going to really fatten up this week but I have my doubts. (Day 37) A purple fade is starting on the underside of every plant except the bush who still is super dark green still. Last watering I got a nice amount of runoff so I’m just going to leave her until the end. I’m seeing a bit of yellowing on #5. I’m going to give it one final full strength feeding plus some rock dust and oyster shell tomorrow and that’s a wrap for nutrients. I might as well hit everything else with a final low strength 0-0-15 too. (Day 38) I’m amazed at how much this stuff smells compared to my last round. It smells very earthy and floral with a hint of pine. Definitely not that gassy smelling pine but more of a sweet pine.

1/18 - 1/24: Getting fatter by the day. They got two feedings this week with cha ching, and I'll start flushing them when then are dry next.

Looks like I have overwatered this one quite badly. I hope that's all it is. Few marks on some leaves as shown in the pics and video so I'll monitor to see if it gets any worse. Tested pH and it looks good at 6.9 so I'm gonna increase bloom nutes cos it could be phosphorus or magnesium.

Flowering day 37 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The whole plant itself looks perfect 👍. The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. This week it was watered 3 times with 1.2 l each (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. Osmosis water for the coming week was refilled in a 100 l tank 👍. Day 49-56 (Day 50) I hooked up my carbon filter to the humidity controller and it is keeping the room exactly at 65-70% RH night and day. It looks like it turns on about every 45 minutes for about 5 minutes so it allows me to run the co2 bag properly. I don’t even have to use my dehumidifier. The room is 100% dark now too. Even the small red lights on the space heaters. Not going to feed anything other than foliars this week. (Day 51) Blackberry #4 & #8 #9 and white widows #2 & #3 are all confirmed males. Chopped them down and recycled the soil. White widow #1 is the first official female and I’m starting to see pistils on the m39/zkittlez too. Plants seem to be responding to the light fairly well. It’s hung 32 inches above the canopy which is as high as it can go without strapping it to the roof, which may have to happen one day. The plant can get within 6 inches of the light so I’m probably good. The ppfd output is 1800umols which is super high so I want to hang them as high as possible in veg. I wish I could rent a ppfd meter to see if I’m in range at 32”. (Day 52) Blackberry breath #3 is the first official bbb female to show. I decided to scrap BCTG #2. It sounded like a good strain but after looking at pictures of people who have grown it online, it doesn’t look up to my standards. I found a very small patch of powdery mildew on one of the leaves so I’m not even going to start with that shit again. I’m really thinking about scrapping the m39/zkittlez and the white widow too. I’m praying that I get at least 4 females of BBB. I tried super cropping for the first time today. A few of the branches I definitely squished a bit too much as they turned quite brown and looked dead within a day. (Day 53) Despite the m39/zkittlez vigorous growth, I know it will be a shitty strain that will most likely herm as it’s from a bag seed of low grade weed. I’ve decided instead of scrapping it, I will use it for experimenting with a new chemical powdery mildew preventative. If it dies oh well. I doused it and chopped a limb off a few hours ago during lights on and it seems fine. (Day 54) I’m about 90% sure BBB 6&7 are both female. #2 & #5 are looking like males but too early too tell. #1 is really tough to say. Just gotta be patient I guess. #3 has a great spread out structure, I hope it doesn’t stretch too much. The scrogging is a priority. I put up the scrog net just to see how it fits. It’s a little small around the edges but that’s fine. So it’s looking like out the 9, I would be lucky to get 4 fems if #1 & 7 would show forsure already. If #1 is a female I have my 4 and I can throw out the white widow. The white widow is just insurance at this point. Super cropped plants have recovered nicely. Going to continue doing this more. I’ve noticed that the plants that were put into my custom soil mix have very small fan leaves compared to the fabric pots of straight promix and dry amendments. Could also be the fabric pot is helping dry downs too. (Day 56) I’m seeing some yellowing so I’m going to give a foliar spray just too keep some deficiencies at bay. All of the plants are stunted except the m39 and bbb#3. Node spacing has also reduced significantly. I can’t help but feel it’s from the intensity of my lights but maybe they just need a transplant into some new soil something. Luckily the stunt and droop is only really happening to what I suspect are male plants anyway. Leaves are looking twisted and gnarled on #5. Going to move it into the veg tent for a while. I’m going to mix up and amend my Destiny/coco blend today and transplant bbb#3 and 6 & 7 in a few days. I mixed them up in contractor bags making sure to toss and turn vigorously. Here is my blend: 2 bags 40L Destiny soil 2 bags 40L coco 700ml glacial rock dust 700ml oyster shell flour 700ml nature’s pride bloom 300ml basalt rock dust 150ml langbeinite 150ml nature’s pride veg I am also going to try the Destiny top dress as it’s only 13 bucks a bag and full of good shit. I’m trying to not feed heavy in flower other than 2 or 3 top dresses and 2 teas and nothing after week 5. Because it’s taken so long for the plants to show sex, when I transplant into the 10 gallon pots, they should have more than enough nutrients too keep them going strong all the way through flower with just water. I’m a little skeptical about that though. Besides teas and dressings are fun. Everything should be broken down by week 8 or so. Will transplant in a few days.

Still cooking strong. Did a heavy defoliation after these pics. But really just letting em be crazy ha. This strain is super hearty, excited to see what the next few weeks bring. Really starting to show signs of flower no been on 12/12 for about 10 days. Thanks for stopping by and as always 🍻

Questa settimana si è slanciata veramente molto! Me lo aspettavo già in quanto non è la prima volta che la coltivo, ecco perché ho deciso precedentemente di effettuare 3 topping consecutivi! Ha reagito veramente molto bene ha continuato la sua vegetazione normalmente senza blocchi e durante la 4 settimana si prepara per il fiore! Adoro le genetiche di Fast buds! Ancor di più la FORBIDDEN RUNTZ AUTO! Per questo ciclo di crescita ho voluto fare un cambio radicale nella sua dieta, ho cambiato marca di fertilizzanti passando da plagron (con il quale collaboravo a CANNABOOM!) semplicemente perché ho potuto constatare i loro pregiatissimi prodotti! Dopo un accurato studio si ogni componente ho voluto fare questo cambio....che dire!!! Menomale!!! Raga veramente dopo la seconda applicazione la pianta e praticamente esplosa in ogni suo potenziale ,parli veramente di ogni cosa! Altezza, Internodi , calici sparsi ovunque, si iniziano a intravedere intricominsulle foglie a ventaglio!!!! Le foglie sono grandi quanto la mia mano😂 ho fatto un po' di pulizia fogliare e per adesso la lascerò crescere così togliendo solo qualche foglia qua e la ogni tanto quando ci sarà bisogno... ringrazio molto cannaboom per i loro prodotti che volevo consigliare a tutti voi e vorrei ringraziare anche fast buds per questa genetiche che non finisce mai di sorprendermi! 3-25-22 Things are going great as I can tell , differences in VEG vs Flower lower humidity ,higher light intensity , less feeding volume but more frequent , and drier medium overall , and lower room temps . Feeding 1500 PPM's and like 200ml per plant every 2 hours till media gets to around 60% saturation . Thanks for stopping by :) 3-29-22 Holy Moly!! Stretching !
