Whelp figured out my PH meter was not reading correctly which means I was not balancing the PH of my water correctly....that being said I had been using RO water that *read* it was testing around 7.0, so I was using PH down to 6.5 5/27 - Decided to top the plant. Again with this being my first grow, this was slightly nerve-racking 5/28 - Seems I didn't mess up the top chop, woooh! I tested the PH of my soil today(5.6), if that even tells me anything(I find 2 articles that say it doesn't and another 2 that say the opposite...so that's magical) and ended up just buying a few gallons of distilled water from the store since I didn't want to be running my RO system for my plant and the others in my house.(made sense in my head at the time) Fed a dose of nutrients in the feeding tonight. I believe I was underwatering my plant. 5/29 Forgot to take a picture because I thought I might have overfed the nutes, on the night before.., So I spent the night researching info and trying to figure out if that was the case and how to correct it. But again since I am new to this, I have no clue lol. It also seems I had bumped up the light power from 50% to 100% some how the night before. Ended up dropping it down to 70% power. 5/30 I took the photo, then tied down the main stem. worries of overfeeding have subsided for now... 6/1 Looking extra bushy today. Holding off on defoliation, unless someone tells me otherwise. I am trying to hold off for a few days on doing anything more that could stress out my plant.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Day 50 Flowering: Hi all. Another week gone and another week closer to the harvest we get. All of the girls have been behaving very well and adorning themselves with trichromes and scents of their genetics. Six shooter now has a really nice dusty appearance on all her many sugar leaves and budlets which give her a very dangerous look of potency that is usually seen in gg4 and hybrids. She is not big at all but the limbs she has are full of buds and beginning to thicken out as the final two weeks run out . She has a candy sweet smell getting near her now too. Strawberry Pie is now filling her space out nicely under the light with her buds also beginning to fatten during the last week. she has a nice healthy build up of trichromes now amd shows her "cake" side a little more now. She has made a good sized plant amd has been a fairly willing participant to the basic lst she got. Mexican Airline has continued to shine as the starlet of the grow. Her buds are so attractive to look at with their spikey appearance and mixed colours being produced now. Her general size is good and her energy tobgrow has been great too. The buds are really unique looking on this strain and I will be growing this again soon without doubt. Bud sizes are very good at this stage and I hope that the final few weeks will really push her to swell . They are all now on the Dragon force to finish the final two weeks which should power rhe swelling and production of more oils for the harvest. They will be fed this for the next week now before a final week of weak feed to encourage a little fan leaf stores usage. Fingers crossed it all goes to plan. Looking healthy but still long way to go...

My harvest is well over. This was a light dep run on 6 plants. On my 3 black cherry gelato (BCG), I started with 3 plants and one succumbed to both shock and caterpillars, one I fresh froze early into hash and one plant at about 14 oz dried and cured. Both the surviving plants were hit hard by the cats and my yield is about 50-60% of what it could have been. But that’s growing in SoCal. I really liked the outdoor BCG, it kept its terp profile well past 8mos from harvest. The hash was mixed with my PPP outdoor hash. TBH, the hash is so potent, I can’t really use it that much. I’ve probably smoked 7g over 8 months and still have over 46-50 grams of hash left. I’m writing this about 9 months after I harvested. I harvested about 50 jars total inside and outside as well as a 2oz temple ball of hash. I still have 19 of 50 jars left and 48g of hash left after 8-9 months. Not to mention a good 6lb of trim.

Moving forward, blooming nice, this second gen is taking form and gaining weight. A few weeks and we will have a nice harvest. Tent is nicely populated and filled. Once i have setup the “semi scrog” it has conformed to it in a couple of days and did a massive difference. It really opens the canopy and create a huge surface to take advantage from the light as opposed to letting it go naturally. I’m defining the technique as semi scrog because i did not setup the net in a traditional early way knitting in veg... It was done later.

Things are progressing with this grow. The nutritional issues caused by recent heat stress may have stunted growth a bit, but the buds are forming nicely regardless. They’ve started to bulk up, and now it’s just a matter of waiting for the final growth and ripening to finish. A lot of the pistils are still white, so we’re likely at least two weeks away from harvest. Add slightly nutrients. Day Nr 16 doing topping. Nutrient tank with capacity 10L turning little bit in alkaline, at the beginning I added 3ml ph down and reach 6.4 pH, than now it’s inccrise to 6.6 on 5 days time. Same I can telling about TDS. At the beginning it was 350 ppm, but now it’s step up on 400ppm without adding nothing. Day 18 start moving out new branches from places around where was topping. Keep watering with 1.5L with slight nutrients dosage… Day 20 we can see how flower keep moving ahead after topping days ago…

Welcome growfessors! Flushing has begun in the 4x8, 06/23 they got 2L of water and today 06/24 they got another 2L. They will probably get another 2L in 3 days, before harvesting next week. Very excited for this harvest, 10 plants will be my largest indoor harvest ever 👽🌳💚🤘

Como estáis fumetillas, yo estoy flipando, y es que las flores de estas skunks son como rocas, y no solo lo compactas que están si no que están bastante tricomadas, las 3 a cada cual más , lavamos las raíces y ya estarán solo agua, dejemos que termine de florecer y madurar, tampoco hay prisa, ph controlado temperatura ideal, bajamos algo más la humedad, puede que tengamos que tuitear alguna pero estoy evitándolo, se irá viendo estos días, ya nos veremos esta semana que viene un saludo familia y buenos humos.

her pistils are definitely showing up. hoping she would grow thicker in the next 2-3 weeks. first time growing a sativa and seems pretty skinny so far compared to indicas.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #2 is just an enormous plant with tons of bud sites and flowers that are starting to get a coating of white trichomes giving them that frosty appearance! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. OMG they're both looking fantastic, both are amazing cultivars with a generous coating of trichomes beginning to cover their flowers.
