Installed new heater and temperatures are back to normal. She was not growing at all from the cold, she finally started growing again. She was looking well so decided it was time to train her, tied all the branches to open her up to give more light to lower branches and to increase my chances of an even canopy. I defoliated some leaves but left the smaller branches forming in the middle of the branches as I'm hoping to get some clones out of them. Mawed the alfalfa down and left as cover crop. Fed the soil today: 1/2 tablespoon ecothrive life-cycle 1/2 tablespoon epsom salt 1/2 tablespoon fish blood and bone Sprinkling of mycorhizal Sprinkled on top of the mulch, then watered with 2 litres of water. For the water, I squeezed the gel from the leaf of an aloe vera plant we had. She is looking really hope she takes well the to the training and grow a little

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself naturally. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant, gentle air movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (now transitioning downward — all feeds moving toward 6.0+) Why a Slightly Higher pH Right Now? YEEEEEEAAAH BOOOOOI, my fabric pot arrived as i expected so i re-potted my baby about 8pm tonight, i used the same CANNA TERRA PRO Soil as before to fill the fabric pot (Soaked it in water then let to drain) and the transplant went smoothly. A video and photo have been uploaded showing it in its forever pot, and i also installed a proper oscillating fan. 14/09 Checked in on the baby this afternoon and looks like shes handled the re-potting just fine which is great news! Everything else is as per usual so will just throw some update photos on. 15/09 Today I checked in on the baby as usual and everything's looking great, she grew a noticeable difference although that's hard to tell in the photos. I gave her a good watering so the humidity came up to 70% for a short time but that's nothing to worry about. Temperature sat around 22 degrees Celsius all day. Photo's show the top and side views for reference. 16/09 Once again the LSD baby grew a nice amount over the day and is looking stout and healthy. The stem is already hardening off and very thick for its short size so i decided to begin to pull her over using LST as i will need to focus on keeping my plant growing low and across due to the space available in my cupboard. Everything went well during the LST so i have put photos up showing what i have done. Temp and humidity is usual. 17/09 Today after work i decided to finally get the mylar roll out and patch the ends of my cupboard as it was pretty rough with tinfoil. I cut out cardboard walls to shape of the existing ends and then lined the edges with carpet tape. I had someone help hold one side and we just placed it down swiftly flat onto the card. This mostly pulled it tight but its not perfect. Other than that, everything's going as per usual and i've uploaded some update photos 18/09 Nothing much to update today, everything's looking good. The weathers been pretty shit so the humidity is up but thats not a worry right now and summer coming up will eliminate that problem. Have updated a couple of photos, basically the plan is to train the plant along the cupboard as low as possible before tipping. This way i can utilize the short spaced cupboard. 19/09 Updated the photos! Everything's looking good, the temperature that is showing is the evening temperature 'which is affected slightly as the cupboard is in a garage. A little low but will only get better as spring comes in. 20/09

In my quest for the perfect modern grow room, I got my hands on a super cool device: SensorPush. Each SensorPush is a tiny low-energy-bluetooth thermomether+hygrometer. I have 1 sensor in the indoor tent and 1 sensor in the outdoor micro greenhouse. Both are connected to the "SensorPush Wifi Gateway", allowing me to access to the datas at anytime from anywhere in the world. SO COOL! I started to collect datas more than a week ago and it has been already so helpful, I noticed that every single adjustment (side fan speed, thermostat mix/max, window opened/closed, driver dimming..) has a direct and immediate impact on the environment, and being able to see the detailed live statistics is the perfect way to adjust the parameters. I had one important issue this week: my timer was acting weird and the light was turning on 40 mins while the plants were in the middle of their night, but thanks to SensorPush I was able to notice the problem immediately and fix what could have gone dramatical. I love these sensors so much that I've started to dig into the SensorPush API, and guess what: after a few minutes I was able to get the datas showing up on my webcam feed, so now my webcam app is also showing me the temp+RH!
