Started the flush cycle with straight water. Plants are very frosty and leaves still retain a fair amount of the green color.

10/10/2022 - 64 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 Fifth week of flowering of my BCN Power Plant 🌴🌴🌻 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - this week I keep serving and adding Jungle Indabox Environ X - bud stimulator 🌼🌸🌼 Advanced Nutrients - Big Bud - I canceled the bud stimulator mix and stayed with Jungle Indabox because the girls got a little burnt, the classic brown color appeared on the tips of the leaves 🍃🍂 I stuck with Bud Candy, all my girls need plenty of carbs 🍭🍭 Atami - ATA Calmag - when growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand Training: I did more defoliation with BCN, I feel that it has too many leaves in the buds, so I pruned it a lot 🍃🍃 Light: Believe - the best light of sponsor Mars Hydro TS 1000 💡💡 In general: The plant is strong, manages nutrients well, absorbs as needed. The leaves are deep green, you can see that it is a sativa. As far as flowering is concerned, she is the slowest for now - compared to the other girls in the box. It only has white pistils and the flowers are not yet fully formed 🏵️💮 I think at least in one week. if u wanna skip details just read the CAP LETTERS day 29 - januari 2 waterleaves from under the stems got cut off, also trimmed the lowest branches because the leaves were getting too big the soil plant has gotten no trim or cuts at all day 31 the ph of the res was 5.3 i changed water , roots look brown, not rotten or slimy just brown. day 32 the hydro plant gets healthy growth after the water change. ph is still too low (5.5) im waiting for my *PH up* i ordered online. never tought i would need it lol. she goes well on 5.5 but not enough calmag is absorbed like it does on 6.2 The pictures of day 32 display the difference is very big in the stems, the soil plant only got topped while the hydro plant had already a litle trim on the lowest branches and the branches above (in the midle of the bush where i topped them) so she got more stress and still is bigger then the soil. day 33 i got no ph up (for now yikes) sooooo i took 8 liters out of the res and replaced it with pure rainwater and 170 ppm calmag in it without nutrients to keep the acid level a bit higher. it worked as u can see in the final pictures the plant gets new growth a bit faster. ph up should be here by end of the week. day 35: plant start to stretch finnally, while i was doing LST later in the evening one of the top stems just snapped off completely OOOPS 😆. theres still a lot of branching going on and a nice bush she will recover very fast from this loss as i summoned the Cannabis Gods into my room as the planets lined up and perfected my PH up to 6 by adding the purest rainwater from the universe the roots cleaned themselves back to pearlwhite and started absorbing the nutes faster then ever. in all silence i knew this was my destiny and the stems grew so fast i could hear them grow. the whole experience was too much as i collapsed to the ground and stood up left the room and knew... i would never see these ph and calmag problems ever again and went down the stairs with my new powers THE PLANTS BOTH GOT GERMINATED ON SAME DATE. BOTH GOT TOPPED ON SAME NODE. I WAS FORCED TO TRIM 4 BRANCHES OF THE HYDROPLANT BECAUS IS WAS BLOCKING TOO MUCH LIGHT I ALSO CUT OFF THE 4 BIGGEST WATERLEAVES ON THE MAIN STEM. THE SOILPLANT DID NOT NEED ANY TRIMS AS SHE IS NOT GROWING AT AN INSANE SPEED, HOWEVER THE SOIL PLANT LOOKS HEALTHIER AND BIGGER BECAUSE THE FANLEAVES ARE STILL THERE. IF U WATCH THE STEMS IN THE PICTURES OF DAY 32 U CAN CLEARLY SEE THE HYDRO IS WAY BIGGER. I NEED TO CORRECT MY PH SO SHE ABSORBS MORE CALCIUM MAGNESIUM FOR EXPLOSIVE GROWTH.

This plant remained the smallest compared to the others. I wanted to grow it outdoors, but in the first month and a half there was really too little sun, so I decided to put it in the room with the others. It recovered well, it didn't grow much but despite everything I am satisfied with how it started. I will definitely try this variety again, starting directly in the room.

Hey Guys, Growth has taken off a lot this past week, have had to add a heater to the grow which isn’t ideal but with warmer months coming this should only be temporary. I have the thermostat set to start the heater when temps go below 23°c. Watching Dr Bruce Bugbee on YouTube, he stated that growth does start to suffer below this temperature. One of the plants has some odd colours and growth which I’m pretty sure is Mg deficiency, which is probably due to that particular girl being more sensitive to PH swings than the rest of the ladies. I have had to insulate some of the circulating pipes as the water cooler was struggling to keep the water baths cool. Seems to have helped keep temps down a couple more degrees, I mate have to reconfigure where my water cooler is in the piping run after this grow Finally a special thanks to the GD team for selecting my previous diary for DOTM, very flattering considering some of the great content that was submitted for March 2020! WOW!!! It’s legal!!!! 50 years of hiding is over! WOW! 12 plants now, next grow 18 plants. 7 Dutch Passion Glueberrys, 2 Dutch Passion Colorado Cookies, 1 Think Different, 1 Dutch Passion Blueberry, & 1 Dinafem Sour Diesel. I have grown before inside from 1982 to 1992 - outdoors a bunch. Now I can check on my ladies everyday!

Week of admiring this girl is drinking water every 2 days without problems something big to take I need a lot more of that in my garden her resistance and incredible leaving in its natural form you only feed and observe because it makes great sprouts with incredible sugar, aroma sweet, previous weeks in veg the defoliation of everything that was underneath made something bigger in equal proportions, it really doesn’t need big lights to show its potential I believe that improving in each specific strain you know each one, being able to understand more and improve. Thanks for another week everyone, the trichomes are taking their best potential, I hope at any time to return with the harvest 😁

My good friend convinced me that trimming and training are paramount, so I've started with slowly defoliating the Creme de la Chems to try and get to lollipop status. They're just starting to flower, so I figured I could get away with a more aggressive approach. Because I failed to train these girls early, I'm stuck dealing with a little rain forest. What I've tried to do is trace each flower topped stalk up from the base, and trim away from the bottom up. 1/3 of the way up per day. I've now got a thick canopy, and I've been trying to just use leaf tucking and manual manipulation every few hours in order to keep the different height flowering sites in direct light. These ladies have really been thriving, and it's been such a joy to watch them grow! I like having two plants in one net pot letting them grow wild, but I think in my next grow I'll keep it to one per pot and train better from the start. As for the Super Orange Haze ... not as good. I attempted to pull the main branch over to train her to some empty space, but I was too aggressive and ended up popping her head off :(. First grow, first disaster. I took the head and stripped her/coated in clonex and pushed her into some potting soil just to see what would happen. There hasn't been enough foliage to really make me want to do any trimming, I've just tried to tie the stalks off to train them apart. I'm really sad about my mistake decapitation, but she seems to be doing well still. She's probably week 2 of flower based on others' journals. I changed the water midway through the week (which is when the videos were taken). I drained most of the water out, but roots prevented me from getting the last few gallons. When I refilled the res with RO, I measured the PPM at around 200. I have to assume that remaining nutrient was completely unbalanced leftovers, so feeding will have to just have to be experimental. My approach has been to give around 1:1 Gro vs Bloom and Micro every 2-3 days when I refill with RO. I want to build my PPM up to 1000, but slowly so that I can detect if I hit a ceiling first. It's hard to measure how much food is in the water based on PPM. CalMag is what drives it mostly, so I've been using CalMag as a sort of measuring stick. I keep the CalMag pegged to the Bloom food, but I know it's only good for initial dosing. I can't assume the plants are eating CalMag in the same proportion as anything else :(. If anyone has a line on cheap lab testing ... hit me up. I'd love to be able to test a few hundred samples at a time for NPK and trace so that I can tell (even if post facto) what was going on.

I'm super happy and really looking forward to trying the Sherbelato. But I'll have to be patient for another 2 weeks

*****Week 13 growth – March 6 to 12, 2021 – Week 5 flower ****** These Mimosa girls are looking very well. Pheno 1 is going to be awesome to trim......very little leaf. As she matures the second pheno is looking better all the time as well. Buds are swelling and getting taller. Bud Fusion being introduced this week. Into the last phase of feeding during flower now. Nitrogen is continued to be reduced as its late flower. Keeping up the feeding ppm this week as we are getting to the end. May be pushing them a little more than I should but finding out how they react for next run. Still continuing to play with the light intensity and seeing how the girls react to my environment conditions when pushed harder. Could have backed off and stayed with 100, 300, 600, 900 PAR levels at the different stages but I have trying to go a little higher in the late stages and going over 1,000 PAR. Little more detail….. Mar 6/21, Day 29 - Dry out day - Changed light cycle to 11/13 today to help with light intensity and reducing DLI. - Light power reduced to 425 watts Mar 7/21, Day 30 - Keeping up the feeding but reducing nitrogen. - feeding with micro – 1.5, bloom – 2.5, ult B – 0.5, carbs – 1, B Storm – 2, S Storm – 2.5, Bud Fusion 0.15gr/l, Terp – 1.5, Jet Fuel – 0.5, Rezin 1 - 1150ppm and 6.0pH - MM1 – 4L and MM2 – 2.5L Mar 8/21, Day 31 - Watering with 2L feed from yesterday and 16L plain water - Over shot the pH - 400ppm and 5.9pH Mar 9/21, Day 32 - Feeding again with Grow – 0.5, Micro – 1, Bloom – 1.5, Carbs – 1, Magnifical – 1 - Didn’t add many of the supplements - 875ppm and 6.0pH - MM1 – 4L and MM2 – 2.5L Mar 10/21, Day 33 - Middle of the week and just giving some enzymes today - Enzymes – 1.5ml - 300ppm and 6.1pH - MM1 – 4L and MM2 – 3L Mar 11/21, Day 34 - Microbes again today - Tap water with Jet Fuel – 1ml, Terpinator – 2ml, Nature’s Candy – 1.5ml, Rezin – 1ml, Ultimate B+ - 0.5ml, Recharge – 1tsp/gal - 800ppm and 6.0pH - MM1 – 4L and MM2 – 3L Mar 12/21, Day 35 - Dry out day - Been feed a couple of times this week so work with ¾ strength next week.

3/25/2023 Week 6- Day 1 of Veg (Day 52 overall) Added my first between changes SILICA Top offs. Was worried that when you add it to pre mixed Nutes that it can make the whole thing turn into a gummy looking substance. I was ready to drain the system and start it over for the week if needed, but no issues adding it to the tank. the Silica going into the Res didn't gummy the system up, it did drop my PH by quit a bit causing me to have to bring it back in balance. 36 Gallons in the Tank Silica Add .5mil/Gal = 18Mil I topped some that needed to be topped, I defoliated some that needs to be defoliated. Since I have moved into Week 6 I have increased the light intensity up to just over 500 maxing it out for Veg Cycle. Next increase will be Week 1 of Flower. 3/26/2023 Week 6- Day 2 of Veg (Day 53 overall) All conditions looked great. Other than me not putting one of the humidifiers back right which means it didn't work last night so Humidity was lower than I like. But got the Humidifier back on it's stand correctly and it is now pumping away. With that I decided to give the plants a day off from any stresses, no topping, no FIMing, no Defoliation for today. Just some good old soaking up the light rays and the ability to get all the Nutes they would like.. 3/27/2023 Week 6- Day 3 of Veg (Day 54 overall) Looking kind of Bushy today, so I defoliated some, and topped some. 3/28/2023 Week 6- Day 4 of Veg (Day 55 overall) PH was a little lower than I like 5.74 so I added a few Mil of PH UP and brought it back up to 5.94. Not much else at this stage, just I topped a little and I defoliated a little. 3/29/2023 Week 6- Day 5 of Veg (Day 56 overall) Topped a little, Defoliated a little Watched them grow!! 3/30/2023 Week 6- Day 6 of Veg (Day 57 Overall) Main action today was breaking down my old tent and setting up a new tent and getting my second RDWC system setup and ready for clones. I Topped a little, I Defoliated some and started taking a good look at what I would like to take for clones in the coming days. I have a few bottom branches that look every promising for my clone material on each. 3/31/2023 Week 6- Day 7 of Veg (Day 58 overall) #3 is at 16" Tall #2 is at 13" Tall

Added 3 mars hydro sp3000 300 watt led bars I got locally for under 100$ Chopped one down that just wouldn’t vertically stop growing and was suffocating the rest of the plants and now everyone has good light penetration all around Buds are getting fatter and the smell is insane AN BASE b52 bud factor x bud candy and overdrive

The plants are doing well except for an issue with small rust coloured spots. According the 'The Plant Doctor', the best guess is a calcium deficiency. Increasing CalMag didn't work. Going to try raising the PH up to between 6.2 - 6.4 and see if that makes a difference. (Best absorption PH). Sometimes excess potassium can cause the same symptoms. If raising the PH doesn't work, I'll try knocking back the bloom levels.
