Permanent White Marker – Week 1: Entering the Lab! 🖋️❄️
Following the kickoff of "The Real Hunt for the Unicorns," it's time to set up the partner in crime for this run: the ultra-frosty Permanent White Marker (by Growers Choice)!
As part of my high-performance setup in the 60x60 cm tent, this strain will run side-by-side with the Unicorn Wagyu, sharing the exact same automated environment. The goal here is pure, unadulterated trichome production, optimal canopy management, and pushing modern US genetics to their absolute maximum.
The Setup for this Run:
Tent: 60x60 cm (shared space / dual-strain high-end run)
Medium: Coco-Perlite (50/50)
Watering: AutoPot System with AirDomes for maximum oxygenation at the roots.
Nutrients: The full Athena Blended Line for precision mineral feeding.
Lighting: Mars Hydro FC3000 (tuned to an efficient PPFD sweet spot).
Current Status (Week 1):
Just like its tent-mate, the seeds are currently soaking in pH-adjusted water to trigger germination. Once they crack and show their taproots, they’ll transition straight into the starter cubes.

The strain grows pretty easy. She can definitely eat a lot nutes but be careful into flowering her ph tends to swing very slightly but if not caught early can be a bit detrimental later. Grew a 5 ft plant in a 3.5 gallon res and she flourished. Good and fun photo period plant.

Empezamos 3ª semana de crecimiento, durante esta semana, podare los bajos y algún nudo. Tras unos días de recuperación pasaremos a floración.
Se empezaron a germinar el día 10/10/23 llevamos 27 días desde que se empezó a germinar.
Hoy día están siendo regadas con 1.5 de ec y 6.0 de ph, usando la gama de abonos orgánicos de boom nutrientes y CALMAG. Uso de sustrato el LIGHT MIX de GBNUTRIENTS.
Son frondosas con grandes hojas, nudos muy corto entre si y además están verdes. Se nota que la luminaria hace su trabajo sin calentarse y por eso la tengo cerca de las plantas evitando que se "espiguen"
**Actualización 08/11** he podado bajos de todas las plantas y alguna hoja grande que tapa las formaciones.
En pasar 2-3 días para que se recuperen, pasamos a floración.

Onto week 7
Gave them a proper lst as you can see.
Think I'm going to put into flower 2morrow and see what the results are doing a 7 week veg instead of a 12 week veg.
Going to set the scrog net up and get tucking.

Very fun strain to grow. Easy to train and love to get big. We had 2 different expressions on the plants and both where very pleasing. Both plants grew vigorously and provided me with just over 3/4 pound of dry medicine!

A good week this week 😁
She seems to be taking life better so i decided to snap the top 😱😂
Pinched and bent her over a bit to let the little ones see the light.
Have found i have a thrip problem so will let Dorothy get to work while i kill what i see.. 🤞
Just feeding tap water and a couple drops of ph down to get to a ph of 6

Flowering day 21
since time change to
12/12 h.
Hey everyone 😃.
Both phenotypes are developing very well 😊.
The buds are starting to develop, so I have now added 2.5 g per liter of GHSC Powder Feeding bio Bloom substrate.
This week it was watered twice with 1.1 l per plant each time.
The humidifier was refilled and the tent cleaned.

Week 19, day 6. Second week after switching to 12/12 lighting.
Nr 1 is 155 cm tall from top of soil and Nr 2 is 171 cm.
All video and pics is taken when the girls have hade 11.5 h of no lights and just got watered.
The stretch on these girls was incredible the past 2 weeks after switching to 12/12 lighting.
So fare this has gone smooth as silk and no problems at all despite temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius for the last 45 days.
I have manage the heat by having between 85-95 % of RH in the room all the time.
And this genetics from DinaFem seeds is awesome, i hope i will get a massive harvest of strong indica medicine.

Well, there's not much to say, I was only waiting for the trichomes to ripe, and I finally got a good percentage of opaque compared to the transparent ones with almost 0 amberish also because all of them are mainly Sativa.
Yesterday I started the 72 hours of complete darkness so Saturday morning I'm going to harvest the babies and hang them for the first drying process. 😊
I'm really curious about the final yield I hope is gonna be enough for me and my flatmates. 😋

Watered with 2ml/l of BioGrow and added Micro Vita to the soil, using around 7 grams on 15 litres.
Vegetative explosion !!
Every morning i check the plants to see if there are bugs or plagues, or if branches need to be bended down, in that case im using strings wich i tie to the pot holes, made with a screwdriver.

Week 1 of flower lights have been switched to a 12/12 schedule
Back pot is plastic so she was fed nutrients 8/5 because it takes a little bit longer to dry up

Do you think her leafs are getting fatter? how thick are they though, seriously ?? so thick ! that's that 100% indica i guess, really striking to see her asleep with those fat leafs isnt it? tried out the obscurity to try and get some nice in, hope you find them nice ! i really like that dramatic effect with the lighting and the shadow but to be honest i'm not the most talented photographer so i dont really know if it's working for you or not, so let me know ! she's growing as expected basically, squat, short, thick, doesnt really need that much attention, so far these genetics are an absolute pleasure to grow ! Raised the lights to the normal height, reduced the light schedule to 13/11, fed with some biocanna i had on hand, added some specialized flower micro : that's mag sulfur and cal mag , hopefully this will make the end product more pungent and more potent. let's see some flowers amirite?
