💎 Black Diamond Auto by Zamnesia – Pheno A Week 7 | The Black Diamond Begins to Shine Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! One of the things I love most about this project is watching every phenotype write its own story. Every plant grows under exactly the same conditions. The same environment. The same nutrients. The same lighting. The same watering schedule. The only thing changing is the genetics. Black Diamond Pheno A continues proving why phenotype hunts are so fascinating. From the very beginning, this lady has been allowed to grow naturally. No topping. No high-stress training. No aggressive manipulation. Just a little leaf tucking here and there whenever a fan leaf shaded a future bud site, allowing her to express exactly what her genetics wanted to become. Sometimes growers feel the need to shape every branch. Sometimes the best decision is simply to step back and let nature do what it does best. This Black Diamond is becoming the perfect example of that philosophy. 🌱 The 12/12 From Seed Adventure For anyone discovering this diary for the first time, welcome! Every plant in this project has been grown under a 12 hours on / 12 hours off light schedule from the very first day of life. There is no traditional vegetative stage. The goal is to observe how each genetic behaves when every environmental variable remains identical while allowing the plants to reveal their natural structure without extending their vegetative growth. It's an incredibly rewarding way to compare phenotypes because each plant develops its own personality without artificial intervention. And Black Diamond Pheno A has certainly developed one. 💎 A Natural Beauty Becoming a Giant Last week she impressed me. This week she surprised me. Standing at 169 cm, she has continued stretching while maintaining one of the cleanest structures in the entire room. Long branches. Excellent spacing. Beautiful symmetry. Every branch seems to know exactly where it wants to grow, naturally reaching for the light without fighting for space. The central cola has become a true focal point, but what impresses me even more is how evenly the secondary branches are developing around it. The entire plant feels balanced. Confident. Purposeful. Sometimes you look at a plant and immediately know she's going to become something special. That's exactly the feeling I get every time I open the tent. 🌸 Flower Production Is Moving Fast This is where things are becoming really exciting. Bud formation has accelerated dramatically over the past week. Every flowering site is stacking beautifully, with fresh white pistils covering nearly every inch of the future colas. What's particularly impressive is how far ahead she appears compared to her actual age. If someone showed me these flowers without any context, I'd probably guess she was at least another week or two further into bloom. The flowers already have real presence. The main cola is thickening. The side branches are filling in rapidly. And everywhere I look, I see healthy calyx development preparing for the bulking phase that's just around the corner. She's definitely one of the most advanced plants in the room. ❄️ Frost Arriving Earlier Than Expected Another pleasant surprise this week has been the resin production. Even this early into flowering, the sugar leaves are already beginning to sparkle. Tiny trichomes are appearing across the developing flowers, creating that first shimmering layer every grower loves seeing. It's still early. There's a very long way to go before harvest. But she's already hinting at the frosty future she's preparing. If this pace continues... She could become one of the frostiest ladies of the entire project. 🍃 Letting the Plant Do What She Does Best One thing that hasn't changed throughout this grow is my approach. No topping. No high-stress training. No unnecessary defoliation. No complicated techniques. Only occasional leaf tucking whenever a large fan leaf blocks light from reaching a developing flower site. That's it. Everything else has been entirely natural. Watching her develop like this is a wonderful reminder that healthy genetics often know exactly what they want to do when given the right environment. Sometimes the grower's biggest job... ...is knowing when not to interfere. 💧 Feeding the Next Stage of Bloom As flowering accelerates, the feeding program continues supporting the increasing nutritional demands. This week's recipe includes: • Plagron Terra Bloom — 2 ml/L • Plagron Power Buds — 1 ml/L • Plagron Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L • Plagron Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Plagron Green Sensation — 1 ml/L • pH adjustment using Plagron pH Plus and Lemon Kick The EC has now increased to 1.95, giving the plant everything she needs as flower production continues ramping up. The response has been outstanding. Healthy leaves. Excellent colour. Strong growth. Zero signs of stress. Exactly what every grower hopes to see. 💡 Welcoming Lumiflora Under-Canopy Lighting This week also marks another exciting addition to the project. I've introduced Lumiflora under-canopy lighting. Most LED fixtures do an excellent job illuminating the top of the canopy. The challenge comes later in flower, when dense foliage naturally shades the lower branches. That's exactly where under-canopy lighting becomes interesting. Rather than replacing the main light, Lumiflora simply adds additional usable light underneath the canopy, helping areas that would normally receive far less illumination. What am I hoping to see? • Better development of lower flowers. • More even bud density throughout the plant. • Improved light penetration into the middle of the canopy. • More efficient use of every flowering site. What am I not expecting? Miracles. Under-canopy lighting won't compensate for poor genetics. It won't replace good environmental control. It won't fix nutrient problems. It's simply another tool that, when combined with healthy plants and a stable environment, has the potential to improve overall flower quality from top to bottom. I'm genuinely excited to see what difference it makes during the coming weeks. 🌡️ Environmental Conditions The environment remains stable, allowing the plants to focus entirely on flower production. Current conditions: • Week 7 Flower • Height: 169 cm • Light schedule: 12/12 • Day temperature: 29°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 60% • pH: 5.8 • EC: 1.95 mS/cm • Root zone temperature: 21°C • Nutrient solution temperature: 21°C • CO₂ concentration: 639 ppm Consistency remains one of the biggest contributors to healthy, stress-free growth. 📸 This Week's Gallery This week's photographs tell an incredible story. The full-plant images reveal a tall, elegant phenotype confidently rising above much of the surrounding canopy, while maintaining exceptional balance from top to bottom. The close-ups show flower sites rapidly stacking along nearly every branch, already carrying impressive numbers of bright white pistils. One thing that immediately catches my eye is the amount of visible frost beginning to appear on the sugar leaves. It's subtle. But it's definitely there. The main cola is quickly becoming a beautiful spear, while the secondary branches are following closely behind. This plant photographs beautifully because she's simply growing beautifully. 🔮 Looking Ahead The coming weeks should become some of the most exciting of the entire grow. Stretch should gradually slow as more energy is redirected toward building dense flowers. The calyxes will begin swelling. The flowers should continue stacking into longer, thicker colas. Resin production will accelerate. And I'll be watching the impact of the Lumiflora under-canopy lighting with great interest to see how the lower flowers develop compared to previous runs. If she continues performing like this... This Black Diamond may become one of the true stars of the entire 8×8 Adventure. And honestly... She's giving me every reason to believe she will. 💚 Thank You Thank you so much for following another chapter of this journey. Growing is always a balance between knowledge, patience, observation and trust. Sometimes the best thing we can do is simply create the right conditions... ...and allow the genetics to tell their own story. A huge thank you to: 💚 GrowDiaries for giving growers around the world a place to learn, share and inspire one another. 🌱 Zamnesia for providing the incredible Black Diamond genetics that make this phenotype hunt possible. 💜 Plagron for supplying the nutrition that continues supporting these ladies from seed to harvest. 💡 Future of Grow LED for providing the consistent light driving this entire project. 🌿 Lumiflora for joining the adventure with innovative under-canopy lighting, and for helping explore another way of improving canopy efficiency. 🌡️ TrolMaster for maintaining the stable environment that allows every phenotype to express its full potential. And finally... Thank you to everyone following these diaries, leaving comments, asking questions and sharing your own growing experiences. Every week these plants become a little more impressive. This Black Diamond... ...is becoming impossible to ignore. Growers Love. 💚🌱

4th week of vegetation was all about maintenance and evening out the canopy. each plant grows differently, so i had to place two of them on boxes to match the height. the one in the back is growing the fastest without any support. i managed to get them all more or less to the same level this week. tomorrow at 06:00 i am turning off the light and switching to 12/12 for flowering. čtvrtý týden vegetace jsem hlavně hlídal a snažil se vyrovnat vršky, aby byly ve stejné výšce. každá kytka mi roste jinak, takže mám dvě podložené krabicemi a ta vzadu roste sama bez podložení. tento týden se mi to podařilo dát víceméně do roviny. zítra v 06:00 vypínám světlo a přepínám na květ 12/12.

Lots of good growth this week, starting my flush on the Pineapple Express. Gave her one last feeding of nutes this week. Smells fantastic in the tent, she reeks of pineapples and flowers. Trichome started getting cloudier, hoping she gets more crystals before her chop. Berry white is coming along nicely, I think it’s safe to say she’s pretty indica.. considering bw was my only indica seed and this plant is drastically different I’m going to go ahead and assume here. Flowers are finally starting to come along, she’s taking much longer to flower out than I thought she would. She took a few more weeks to show pistils than the other plants. I suspect I will chop her last. I harvested my oldest plant and moved the berry white plant into the smaller tent. Hopefully I get better light distribution over the next few weeks as I finish up these grows. Thanks for reading and happy growing! 👩‍🌾🏼🌱

The Amnesia haze 2 is turning light green yellowish some told me it could be deficiency or it could be just flowering taking energy from the leaves but I’m not sure I used Gaia green bloom recently thinking it would help I’m going to too water that haze from here out the other have and sour I’m going to continue to bottom feed I took some trichome pics I don’t think there ready yet but I think I’m getting close to the date I feel the the amnesia haze 2 is going to hit 90+ days tho kind of hope not cause the other haze and sour are probably going be done sooner I want to fry them all at the same time March 7th I think the haze #2 and Sour d is ready but the other Haze is not I’m pretty sure I have another week pre maybe even two for it to be near ready I need the tent to harvest and dry what’s ready I’m going try leave the ready ones in for another week in hope it doesn’t mess them up

Well well. In the end I've got 2 surprises. First - the mold in the main branch of the biggest plant.. The half of it was destroyed. The second surprise is the seed.. whoah.. Il see if it will grow. And meet my dog - Berny. She scares rick's portal gun. This year brought eough problems, so i can't say if ill grow, or even live next time, so please do not subscribe to my acc. Be cool in new year. Wish u all guys huge harvests and extremely strong buds. Also i wish to be enough healthy to try all this stuff.MC and a HNY

Pěstování king kartier mě bavilo. Odrůda je neuvěřitelně silná a odolná, po celou dobu vykazovala silný a hutný růst. A v pozdních fázích masivní nabývání pupenů. Byla i celkem dost tolerantní k nějakým těm chybičkám. Celkově bych doporučil na tuto odrůdu větší prostor a nějaký ten trénink. Pupeny jsou na omak tvrdé, trichomy mléčné. Konec 10. Týdne

Hi liebe Community and Welcome Back!

White Widow – Week 6 | Second Big Flower, Buds Forming 🌸🌿 Light Schedule: 12/12 from seed Room Temp: ~28°C (stabilized with AC) Humidity: ~66% VPD: ~1.33 kPa CO₂: 450–800 ppm Watering: Hand watering Soil Content EC: ~2.96 ⸻ From Hairs to Buds This week marks a real turning point. Our White Widow is moving past simple hairs, now we can clearly see the beginnings of tiny buds forming. It’s the second big flower stage in her journey, and the structure is starting to express the true White Widow personality: compact, resinous, and promising. I took her out of the tent for another photoshoot, capturing her in detail with the Sony A6000. Close-ups show her leaves, structure, and those first clustered flowers. I also filmed short videos, including one where I share how I talk with my plants daily. For me, it’s not optional — it’s part of a symbiotic relationship. Plants respond to energy and care, and I believe everyone should try it. 🌱💭 ⸻ Light Strategy – Emerson Effect Simulation A special note this week: I recorded a screen video from the TrolMaster TM+ app to show how the lights are scheduled. 🌅 Wake-up: The reds switch on 15 minutes before the whites and blues. 🌇 Wind-down: At night, the reds also stay on 15 minutes longer than the other spectrums. This is designed to simulate sunrise and sunset while taking advantage of the Emerson Effect, a synergistic boost in photosynthesis efficiency when far-red and red light are combined with other wavelengths. The result? Plants wake up and settle down more naturally, with smoother light transitions, reduced stress, and potentially increased energy capture. It’s a small tweak, but it reflects how every detail of this environment is tuned with intention. ⸻ Environmental Changes This week, a big addition: the AC unit. Before, the room was running hot at 31–32°C and more, but now it’s stable at 28°C (occasionally 29°C). Combined with ~66% RH, this gives a steady VPD of 1.33, right in a comfortable zone for flower. CO₂ naturally fluctuates between 450–800 ppm, and the plants are thriving in these conditions. Even during the hotter weeks, they adapted beautifully, proof of the resilience of both the genetics and the environment we’ve been building. ⸻ Feeding & New Recipe Until now, she’s been on the Aptus base recipe: • Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L This week, I introduced a Plagron trio to push flower development: • Power Buds – 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Green Sensation – 1 ml/L Why now? Because she’s transitioned from stretch to actual bud formation. Power Buds helps with compact flowering sites, Sugar Royal enhances metabolism and energy (especially under high light), and Green Sensation supports resin and bud swelling later on. Together with Aptus, it’s a blend of precision and experimentation, trusting experience, intuition, and past results. ⸻ 12/12 From Seed – A Quick Recap This run is about exploration: • Started from seeds, with early germination struggles (mistakes included, lessons learned). • This White Widow is the sole survivor of those early days. • Straight into 12/12 from seed, she grew compact and resilient, surprising us by taking her time to flower despite the cycle. • Now, at Week 6, we see her first true buds. She’s not the tallest, but she’s beautiful, living proof of how genetics + environment + patience = results. ⸻ Looking Ahead What to expect: • Buds thickening and clustering. • Stronger aroma starting to emerge. • More demand on nutrition as flowering sites expand. What not to expect: • A tall, stretchy plant — she’s compact and will likely stay that way. • Early harvest — White Widow still takes her time, even under 12/12. ⸻ Shoutouts & Gratitude 🙏 🌱 Zamnesia – for the legendary White Widow genetics 💧 Aptus Holland – for the precise, reliable base nutrients 🌸 Plagron – for the flower enhancers that now join the recipe 💡 ThinkGrow – for the bar LEDs keeping perfect spread 🚀 Future of Grow – for the Black Series 600W full-spectrum power 🧠 TrolMaster – for automating and stabilizing the grow environment (and letting us dial in the Emerson effect with custom light scheduling!) And of course, thank you to everyone following this diary, reading, supporting, and sharing this journey. This project is about more than just one plant, it’s about experimenting, learning, and connecting with the grow along the way. ⸻ 📸 Check the gallery for: • Close-ups of bud formation • Studio shots with the Sony A6000 • Behind-the-scenes of the grow room • Video captures including the TrolMaster light scheduling demo • Daily plant connection moments 🌱 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. ~Entry for the 'Best Rarest & Smallest Pot by Seedsman' contest~ Starring 🤩.... ~ Seedsman Zkittlez Auto ~ Zkittlez (Grape x Grape Apple) Auto x Auto Fruit (Auto Fruit Cheese x Auto Blueberry) Zkittlez Auto is one of the very sweetest-tasting auto strains available anywhere. It is a sativa-dominant (60%) strain that was bred from Zkittlez (Grape x Grape Apple) Auto crossed with a male Fruit Kush Auto, the latter a remarkable fruity strain bred from Fruit Cheese Auto and Blueberry Auto. Growers can expect to harvest some good yields of high-THC buds. Zkittlez Auto remains a fairly short plant, rarely exceeding 120 cm. in height wherever it is grown. This is a vigorous plant which is able to metabolize a high level of nutrients and she's a thirsty girl too! If growing indoors close to neighbors it is strongly advised to ensure good and effective carbon air-filtration in order to neutralize powerful odors. This strain's life-cycle is approximately 90 days from seed to harvest. The leaves on this plant are big and wide serving to convert every lumen available into Zkittlez goodness. Indoor growers should obtain between 400 - 500 gr/m2 while plants cultivated outdoors will produce slightly more at 500 - 600 gr/m2. Lateral branching is very good and it is recommended to use supports/ties to prevent snapping and keep buds close to the light source. This strain's scent is sweet and fruity with candy and berry notes. Its high-THC has been measured at between 21 - 24% with less than 1% CBD. The effect is well-balanced, cerebral and euphoric, and is very good for social situations as well as for relaxing in front of the TV either alone or with company. It also has the added effect of helping to relieve chronic pain, helping with nausea, insomnia and depression as well as stimulating the appetite.** **Credit to Seedsman.com ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~ The Setup ~ ~ Grown in a 2qt plastic popcorn pot filled with Mother Earth Grow 70/30 Coco/Perlite with Xtreme Gardening Mykos added. ~ Seed was germinated directly in the medium without any 'pre-soak' ~ Feeding will be by Dutch Pro Nutrients ~ 24hr light cycle while germinating ~ 20/4 light cycle after first leaves appear. ~ 4x8 Gorilla Tent ~ HLG 650R w/ 30w Supplemental UVA Bar controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. This fine looking lady has been growing for 80 days since she broke ground and has turned out simply AMAZING! 🤩❤️ I'm flushing every day now with well water that's ph'd to 6.5-6.7 @ 71℉ until I have good runoff and that's exactly what I did today in addition to giving her pot a 1/4 turn. 1/26- Today I flushed the Zkittlez Auto for the last time and I'm going to put her in the dark for 72 hours today after checking her trichomes one last time. 1/30- Yesterday the Seedsman Zkittlez Auto was released from 'Dark Jail' and looked absolutely amazing, covered in frost and sporting some gorgeous coloration on her flowers! After snapping some pic's I chopped and hung her to begin the drying/curing process. She's hanging in total darkness with a fan, de-humidifier and humidifier to keep the air circulating gently and the RH at 60% (I usually run the RH down to 50% for the first 24hrs, then up it to 60% for the remainder of the hanging time). The air temperature in my drying room stays a constant 53-60℉ which I find ideal for getting the drying time to the 12-14 days I like it to be to ensure a nice S L O W drying which, I've found, ensures a super delicious product after it's finished curing for 3-4 months in jars! This has been such a fun grow to participate in, and as always, I learned a few things I didn't know previously as I've always grown in much larger containers which made this grow that much more interesting to me! I hope you enjoyed following along half as much as I did growing this little gem from Seedsman Genetics, I truly appreciate all the love and positive comments that I've received throughout this run.... THANK YOU!❤️❤️❤️ See you at the Harvest! 😎🤙 ~ Thank you from the bottom of my heart for following my grows and for all the ❤️and support you give! 💚What you grow - Grow what you💚
