🍮 Chem Brûlée – Pheno B Week 7 | Stealing the Spotlight Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! This week belongs to Chem Brûlée Pheno B. Some plants quietly move through each stage without drawing too much attention. Others somehow make you stop every time you walk into the room. This girl has become one of those plants. She isn't the biggest in the room, nor is she trying to compete for height alone, but everything about her feels... right. She's growing with elegance. Every internode is spaced beautifully, every branch has found its place, and from the base of the plant all the way to the main top, the leaf formation is simply gorgeous. She's entering the fourth week of flower exactly where she should be. Not behind. Not ahead. Just perfectly on schedule. If plants carried calendars, she'd be checking every box. 🌿 A Phenotype Finding Her Rhythm One of the goals of this project is seeing how twelve different cultivars express themselves while sharing exactly the same environment. Chem Brûlée Pheno B is becoming one of my favourites to observe because she's making everything look effortless. Standing around 130 cm tall, she has developed into a beautiful, elegant plant with long, healthy branches and excellent internodal spacing. The open structure allows light to reach deep into the canopy while maintaining fantastic airflow between the branches. It's the kind of architecture growers hope for but can't always create through training alone. Sometimes genetics simply do the work for you. 🌼 Buds Beginning to Tell the Story This week the flowers have taken another noticeable step forward. Every growing tip is now covered with fresh white pistils, and the individual bud sites are beginning to connect into what will soon become long, stacked colas. The stretch is gradually slowing down as more energy is redirected into flower production. The main top has become more defined, while the secondary branches are quickly catching up, creating a very balanced canopy from top to bottom. She's no longer just showing flowers. She's beginning to build them. Watching this transition happen is always one of my favourite parts of the flowering cycle. 🌱 Letting Genetics Shine Very little intervention has been needed this week. Apart from a little leaf tucking and allowing the branches to spread naturally, she's been left to do what she does best. The AutoPot system continues doing an outstanding job, delivering consistent moisture and nutrition around the clock. It's amazing how relaxed plants become when they never have to wonder when their next drink is coming. Combined with the stable environment inside the room, this phenotype has been able to focus entirely on growing instead of recovering from unnecessary stress. Sometimes the best technique is simply creating the perfect conditions and stepping back. 🍽️ Feeding This week's feeding consisted of: • Terra Bloom – 2 ml/L • Green Sensation – 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Power Buds – 1 ml/L • Pure Zym – 1 ml/L Along with small pH adjustments using Lemon Kick and pH Plus whenever required. The nutrient increase made this week was applied to the entire reservoir, and Chem Brûlée Pheno B has responded exactly as hoped, maintaining beautiful colour and healthy, vigorous growth throughout the canopy. 🌡️ Environment Stable conditions continue making all the difference. • Day temperature: 29°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 60% • pH: 5.8 • EC: 1.95 mS/cm • Solution temperature: 24°C • Root zone: 21°C • CO₂: 639 ppm Keeping these parameters consistent allows every phenotype to express its full potential without unnecessary environmental stress. The room is working exactly as intended, and this plant is making the most of it. 📸 Behind This Week's Photos Looking through this week's photographs, it's impossible not to appreciate how naturally elegant this phenotype has become. The close-up images highlight fresh clusters of white pistils forming at every node, while the wider shots reveal a beautifully symmetrical plant with outstanding spacing from the bottom branches all the way to the top cola. One of my favourite details is the leaf structure. Every fan leaf seems perfectly positioned without overcrowding the canopy, creating a plant that's not only healthy but incredibly photogenic. Sometimes a plant doesn't need to shout to stand out. She simply grows beautifully. 🔮 Looking Ahead Over the coming week I expect the vertical stretch to come to an end as Chem Brûlée Pheno B shifts her full attention toward flower production. The individual bud sites should begin merging together, the pistil count will continue increasing, and the first real signs of bud stacking should become much more noticeable. The plan remains exactly the same. Maintain the environment. Keep the AutoPot reservoir stable. Continue observing. And let this beautiful phenotype keep telling her own story. So far... She's absolutely stealing the spotlight. 💚 Thank You A huge thank you to everyone following this 8×8 Adventure. Whether you're here to learn, compare phenotypes, improve your own garden, or simply enjoy following along, I'm incredibly grateful to have you sharing this journey. Special thanks to: 💚 GrowDiaries for providing a home where growers from around the world can share knowledge and inspire one another. 🍮 Zamnesia for the outstanding Chem Brûlée genetics making this phenotype hunt possible. 🌱 Plagron for providing the nutrition supporting every stage of this grow. 💡 Future of Grow LED for delivering powerful, consistent lighting from seed to harvest. 🌿 LumiFlora for helping illuminate the lower canopy and ensuring every potential flower site receives the light it deserves. 🌡️ TrolMaster for maintaining a stable environment around the clock. 💧 AutoPot for making irrigation effortless and allowing these plants to grow at their own natural rhythm. And finally... Thank you to every grower, supporter, silent reader, friend, and curious visitor who follows these diaries week after week. Your encouragement and conversations make sharing this journey incredibly rewarding. I'll see you all next week as Chem Brûlée Pheno B continues showing exactly why phenotype hunts are so fascinating. Sometimes perfection isn't about being the biggest plant in the room... It's about growing exactly as nature intended. Growers Love, and happy growing everyone. 🌱🍮💚

A quick check up and they're doing well. Some growth so that's a good sign. Some little bastard animal (mole I assume) made a few holes around my girls. I made sure to put some fluid in them as I was peeing. Then stuffed them with rocks, dirt and a thick branch. Hopefully they're not too interested and I don't have an animal having a root party

May 9th - began today replacing the CMH lite that kicked-off during the night (new bulb is done!) MARS HYDRO to the rescue with a TS-1000 hanging above the kids now. Fine-tuning as we speak - began mixing a Tea for tonight/tomorrow’s dinner - LST to begin with a few of the plants this evening - Defoliated some of the large fan-leaf pairs and now the plant structures can be fortified and shaped - grabbed 6 clones from the Panama Reds and 2 each from Fighting Buddha and Pine Tar Kush !!! Into the LED Dome (And i’m out of cubes… profanity) - some branches get tied down tonight; let the games begin 10th, - Nutrients fed for breakfast - how to say this: things are so steady with daily progression - raised lights again to maintain 2c difference between Room temp / Top-Leaf temp. My Phlizon 4500 is almost topped out in the room, and its running at 50% power. This last blast of growth and transition within the plants, tells me this set-up is going to last Just long enough !!! Just big enough - 2 more weeks come on! - a few more clones taken last-nite; cloudwalker / black tuna / lsd / alaskan purple etc etc PurpsBerry will be last clone taken - no foliar misting on Food mornings like today; every other day is still the target here in mid-Veg 11th, - while rummaging through the crop early today, I found what is certainly a Male Panama Red plant. Action taken and trying to secure that new home. Picture 11, 12, 13 - Panama Red #2 removed - Foliar Misted the Tent at lites-out - clones treated to a Foliar Misting. Feeding them through their already developed Stomata on the leaves; when they have no roots to uptake nutrients yet. “Thanks Andrew at LegacyMarketFarm for that detail” May 14 - the one plant i took real pride in FIMming successfully, has also raised the Kilt and declared his Gonads; dammit. So, he’s gone lol. 2 males out of 38 plants… (txerri bilbo haze, the very first of many seeds produced alongside killer bud to show Male) - 2 LSD clones appear to be doing well May 15th - Foliar Misted after Lites-out

July 6: peak growing season now and I expect she’ll be growing about an inch per day here for the next couple of weeks. Weather should be perfect and just have to dodge the thunderstorms. Started another lazy compost tea. Cheers to all growers. 👍 July 7: mild defoliation done over this last week to let light in to the growth tips. Water only as a light flush. July 8: definitely fast growth and looking very dark green but hopefully not too much N. Watered in evening with lazy compost tea. This lazy compost tea is just a 5 gallon (20 L pail) with couple handfuls of mature compost, some molasses, some humic acids and kelp, Dr Bronners peppermint soap as a surfactant (or wetting agent) and vinegar to get pH near 7. Then it’s all left in the shade for about 24-48 hours with the occasional stir. Alternately you could just use Recharge which is made from bacteria, molasses and humic acids. Super easy either way. July 10: added a couple handfuls of malted barley as a top dressing. This is a top organic growing tip from Clackamas Coot. Just get some from a local brew shop which should have a variety of malted grains. Cheap stuff is fine. I’ll add some Power Bloom next week but I figured the barley is good enough for now. Now 25 inches so she grew 6 inches in 4 days. Good times. Good times.

My beautiful C4 Auto from fastbuds, I decided to place her outside for her life and not to impress, should of just done both as indoor plants. The hash elements mutated her and continue to mutate. But overall she is budding pinkish purple colors throughout. Still hitting up with fem spray because I wouldn't be able to place an order with Fastbuds again so I try my best to keep this strain from them as my primary strain and get new strains from it .. Thanks Fastbuds.....

Second day of flower brought down the light time in 2 hour increments not to shock them. They have filled out nearly every corner other than the watering area at the front. They are bushing out very well and hopefully the stretch is only double I plant to try get the trellis in over next week just as a support for the flowers once developed other then that no noticable changes other then the spotting returning on the papaya crush I think it’s a fussy pheno as everyone else is fine

Week 10 Update – Full Throttle with Advanced Nutrients 🌱 I’m now feeding 100% of the Advanced Nutrients schedule with all components. I noticed a slight calcium deficiency in the AN plants, so I’ve increased the base nutrients from 75% to 100%. Advanced Nutrients CalMag Xtra remains at 1ml/L, and it has been reliable throughout the grow with 0 EC osmosis water. BioBizz#1 – BT42 The trichome ripeness is mixed—there are both amber and clear trichomes, so it’s not quite consistent yet. CalMag issues show up occasionally, but nothing that’s throwing me off balance—she’s doing fine! 🤞 AN#4 – BT42 She’s asking for a bit more calcium here and there but continues to dominate BioBizz#1 in terms of development. EC: 2.5 pH: 6.4 Drain: pH 6.1 (EC not measurable due to organic soil). AN#3 – BT38 This plant is visually about 2 weeks behind the others. The space between her and the lamp is down to 1-2cm—a disaster, but there’s nothing I can do at this point. PPFD is off the charts (1200), but she’s handling it and developing beautiful buds. Big respect to this strain—the stretch was no joke! Humidity is well under control at

We are starting the second week!!! The girls feel good, they are growing like crazy. Tomorrow we will transplant them into larger pots (10 l). I also increase the fertilizer dose to 2 ml/l. Maybe I'll start LST training this week. I still keep the lamps at 30 cm, but I increase the light power to 70%. I'm full of enthusiasm, keep it up! Thank you for all the likes and I wish you successful growth as well. 🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂Hello to all cannabis lovers🤩. The girls have already been transplanted into 10-liter pots. I replanted them yesterday, but I only took photos today. Thanks to valuable advice from @Crashoverite, three days ago I stopped fertilizing and watered the plants with clean water. Thank you very much !!! 🙏🤪😁

05/04/2024, last pruning, rapid flush, EC down to 0.9, Falsh Clean @3ml/L, from now to harvest I will refill the tank with water EC 2 (approx. 3L/Day (target EC should be close to 0.3 at cut, Sunday or Monday). I stopped the heating control, and set day ligth to 14h and will follow decreasing 1h/day, till 8h light only. 10/04/2024 This is amazing, this year no rush to harvest, we can wait and I have to say it seems to us it's still getting fatter! My issue now is that the humidity has some pics at 100% at night! What could I do?!?!? 11/04/2024 EC dropped at 0.7 by adding only water, pH was up to 6.7 but back to 6.5.

Things have really begun to take off now. The two toofless aliens are pushing 2 foot tall and have begun their apical cola growth. Side branches are starting to catch up with the tops and flowering mode is in full effect. The two alien vs triangle, one shorter and bushier the other taller bud still wide, have almost begun apical cola blossom and sitting around a foot and foot and a half. Excited to see their progress over this next week as they begin blooming more heavily. Have added snow storm and carbo load to my arsenal and the combo alone in a airated tank will produce bacterial growth with a clear tea brew! Love it, will use this for pre flush watering from now on with a little molasses i can tell it will work wonders!
