Had a ton of rain and wind this week, she handled it like a champ, much needed for everything, short lived though. Back to hot and Sunny for at least the next 2 weeks. Flowering is sloooowly coming along, feels like a lot longer this year, or I'm just impatient. 70/30 top dress of Gaia Green PB to AP this week, not sure how much she needs it. Some very minor ant activity after all the rain washed away the DE, reapplied light application. Haven't been doing any trimming or defoliating this week, barely even lost any leaves on its own, on 2 hrs of drip every 3 days still. She has to be the most maintenance free grow I've ever had. Already have tons of compost going to add to the Hugel next year. On that note, no idea how i'm going to remove that trunk and root system to replant in it next year, any suggestions? Wait till spring then try and dig it up?

8/23 I WATERED THE NATURAL MK ULTRA AND THE 10TH PLANET IN THE BACK WITH A GALLON AND THE TWO TENS SPLIT A GALLON. It's hotter today and the wind is picking up. I wish I had gotten rid of that plant when I thought to. Oh well. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and treat things. Smell is increases as well as flower size. However I'm noticing more leaves that are yellowing and falling off. Smell has intensified. The special kush in late flower doesn't seem to be producing trichomes like it should. Or maybe it's still early. I see some but by this time I would think it would be frosty as hell! It's rained like once this summer. I've put tons of work into defoliating. I'm not sure if I'll try a controlled spray trying to avoid buds or if I should use a sponge and just hit every leaf. At least I'm seeing that the buds are still expanding and smelling despite these invisible Bastards. It's not like I see them. Even my traps only caught like one. I'll update as I go. I'm scared of using d.e. because it absorbs so much water. It's like 80%! The year I had fusarium I put a bunch of d.e. on the soil and it retained water like a mofo. I'm seriously considering spunosad on the pink kush as it's earlier in flower and I think it could handle it. I might just use this spray first and see how it goes. I also have some insect (ear wigs or pillars) that target lower branches and kinda lollipop them. I hope it's not earwigs because I've had bas luck dealing with them. I'll have to check at night. I had to shake everything off this morning. Looking back through previous diaries I've HAD thrips before and couldn't identify it and made it to harvest so I think I'll be OK. BUDS arecrcploding in growth and the smell is turning into tjat pungent aroma we all love. The early special kush smells amazing. I think the rain and wind helped with the thrips. I'll do another application and get the plants I missed. That pink kush in the ten looks pretty rough. I probably would've been better off to ditch it earlier it's been treated now so I'll keep an eye on it amd I may just cut it. If I put in the work they would be fine. At least I hope so. We'll see. I'll update as I go. 8/28 Had to shake the plants off this morning. Must've rained last night. I'm not used to that since we've been in such a drought. I'll check later but I'll probably hold off as most are still heavy. I probably should selectively water the thirsty ones but I think tjey can make it. The rain (or the treatment) has greatly helped cut down on thrip population. Nights are in the 40's so it's not the most hospitable environment for them. I'm still keeping an eye out and will be applying another treatment at some point. I didn't do a video this morning as it was kinda dark. I'll check them again when I get back. It's suppised to rain tomorrow all day. I think I might bring the furyhest special kush in the barn under lights for the day. That way those huge buds don't get soaked. I'll play it by ear.

Tag 33 - 03.01.2025 Die Orange President zeigt leider einige Mängel. Ich vermute, dass es sich um ein Problem mit Cal/Mag (Calcium und Magnesium) handelt, eventuell auch um einen Stickstoffmangel. Seit kurzem wird der pH-Wert des Wassers angepasst, und bei jedem Gießgang gebe ich Plant BoOoM SiCaMag hinzu. Vielleicht hat jemand von euch Profis noch eine Idee, was die Ursache sein könnte und wie ich am besten vorgehen sollte. Ich freue mich über eure Tipps! 😊

Plant is stretching a bit with some appearance of Pistils, started bloom nutes for pre-flowering, but still has a way to go. Plant is quite low as I trained her that way (accidentally 😅) hopefully won’t affect yields too much. Update following question: general consensus is that light meter app is unreliable so Im using the PAR chart from the grow light as a measurement. Boost Buddy CO2 bag added to the tent with a good effect. Plant seems to be doing well in all, one browned tip and no other seemed to appear.

Hey Cannafam, Well we've come to end for my Gauva gal and today i've decided to harvest. We are expecting some bad weather starting tomorrow for the week, and i don't want her to get ruined. Trichomes are mostly cloudy with a few clears and its best to harvest slightly early rather than run the budrot gauntlet! The weather has been a good deal cooler over the past week and this had been a good turn as her her leaves have rapidly changed colour, shes rapidly turned into a dark purple, pink and red beauty 😊 Temps for Wednesday/Thursday were 22c day 14c night with rain on both days, but it has been dry since with nice sun. Friday to today 20c in the day and dropping down to 12c at night. Humidity has remained generally high for most of the week at an average of 75%, although this has now come down to 53% for today, and daylight is at 13 hours 59 minutes. Shes had one feed at the beginning of the week and plain waterings since. Her buds have filled out and are looking nice and chunky. Smell is a nice kinda fruity sugary candy waft which is very pleasant but not overpowering. For the harvest ive taken the bigger fan leaves and also a few of the larger sugar leaves, shes been hung up in the garage for drying, which i anticipate take a couple of weeks and il then do a dry trim. I don't have hanging scales for wet weight but i'l give the final result when dry. Throughout this gal has been absolutely solid and i would definitely grow again, but i may try another of the FastBuds/Mephisto crosses next year outside as from what i've seen they are a strong marriage 💪💪💪 Until the final update, thank you to anyone who has liked or commented. She came in at 64 grams so just over 2.25 ounces a really top result and the harvest will last me a good long time 😊 I generally cure for 4 weeks and im using the boveda 62% packs for long term storage. When you open the jar you get a sugary sweet candy smell a bit like sherbert with fruity undertones, and this is definitely the sweetest smelling strain that i've grown 😊 In the vaporizer at 200c she gives a sweet tasting toke sugary and kinda flowery tasting, which is a pleasant combo, she instantly unwinds the mind, makes you smile and within minutes any tension in the muscles goes. The high is not to overwhelming but still hits well, is uplifting and makes you smile to yourself. I I also found this one very good for pain relief from my muskoseletal issues and found that all pain in my hands arns and back was gone for a good couple of hours. This is good daytime strain for being chill but active. To anyone checkin in i hope youve enjoyed this diary, and il see you soon 💚

The buds are forming! Changed to a nicer light recently, light is great, although my mars hydro 600w did me justice. This new one I got of amazon for under $100 is 1000 watt led and crushing it. It has increased temps significantly which is a bit tough for me to control given my tent is in a closet. Also it is starting to getting less humid outside, so I reduced airflow in the tent to keep the humidity at 50. I have a small humidifier coming soon (oddly a Corporate work gift lol).

Hi Growmies I hope your week had been as productive and fun as mine and that your flowering is progressing. It has been a very easy week to manage their needs. Nicely set and with lots of light per plant , we have a lot of clusters of pistils throughout their whole structure. Keeping the humidity lower now is helping to reduce the risk of bud rot with so much vegetation and fresh pistils to feed it. It will also help raise the oils needd within the girls to keep them supple amd attractive to those buzzy friends they hope to attract. The smell of sweet pineapple is so strong in the room now and their stickiness from resin is really starting to show itself now. It is evident that the plagron products have had a substantial effector the progress now with so.mamy sets of flowers lower in the canopy too. Seeing other grows of the Biscotti not using the products , there is a difference in node lengths between flowers without doubt. The flowering plants are nice and stocky compared to most of my previous grows sonit has been easier to keep them well within the lights sweet spot With just 2 weeks left that will hopefully be the adding weight and second flowering sets kicking into play too , a good yield could be on the cards. I do seem to have 2 phenotypes off the Biscotti running so it will be interesting to see how they differ at the end for yield etc.. I have added a small greenhouse heater to bring the temp up a little and help with the humidity control too as we are experiencing a very cold snap again in good old Blighty. We did a lot to these girls this morning with many moving parts, so long entry today. Now that we are in flower, & with the data I've collected so far, I'm going to need to stay on top of the stretch with bends to keep them at a reasonable height. I'll plan to access & adjust on Wednesdays & Saturdays. One thing I want to mention about my style of growing, is that everything I do is with a specific intention. It may seem complex & labor intensive, but in reality, I spend very little time actually working in my tent. I plan & research heavily before each grow & use the data I collect to anticipate plant response. I try my best to be precise & I have a low to zero entry policy. My plant do all the heavy lifting, I just intervene to guide them into a structure that fits my space. Tent Entry Time-1 hour 40 minutes Week Total-1 hour 45 minutes Veg Total-4 hours 52 minutes Removed straw mulch from each container & placed in separate buckets containing plain reservoir water. Removed all fan leaves not directly attached to a growth tip on each plant. Removed plant material salad chopped then mixed with straw mulch in respective buckets to soak. Removed Bud Clips from each main and relocated below the top node of each main branch to spread at 90° angles. Top dressed each plant, working into the top 1/2 inch with hand rake. Heavy top dress as I'm working with 7 gallon containers. -Top Dress (Divided)- 6 cups Build a Flower 3 cups Vermicimpost 1/2 cup Craft Blend 1/2 cup Ocean Blend & Trace Minerals 1/3 cup Kiss My Frass 1/4 cup Kashi Gold Each top dress capped with 4 cups reclaimed 60/40 blend of Roots Organic Original & Coco Coir Hand watered each container with 6.5 ph, 13 ppm, plain reservoir water mixed with 1/2 tsp each of horticultural aloe powder, horticultural coconut water powder, & Build a Bloom, with 1/4 tsp each of Recharge & quillaja powder. Mixed & soaked straw & plant material restored to respective containers. Photoperiod adjusted to 12/12 Deep red supplemental lighting activated to run 15 minutes before lights on & 15 minutes after lights out. Far red supplemental lighting replaced blue supplemental & synced with main light. DLI now at 28, & should raise naturally throughout the week. We will reassess Wednesday evening.
