13.06. Wedding Cake 1# Day 49# The plant is at the end of the seventh week, it is making excellent progress. I don't want to spoil it and speak in advance, but I think she will be a monster, but just let her be healthy! Wedding Cake 2# Day 43# Unlike the first one, this one has only entered the seventh week, it is in 3 times smaller pot and the soil is not even close to the quality like in the first one, so I am satisfied with the progress of the second one as well! 5 nights ago there was a strong storm, the morning after the storm when I came to the site, I found some plants crooked, some normal, but there were no broken ones, thank God, but they were very stressed and what you can see in the pictures appeared on the leaves, some leaves were crispy at the edges, but still green, mostly shoots before the newest ones. I haven't had this problem before, I researched a bit on the internet and came to the conclusion that the wind burned them, and I also turned to GW for an opinion, two characters confirmed my opinion. Two days later I noticed that the matter was getting worse and that it was spreading, which worried me, so I contacted GW again for an opinion. Some told me that it was mold, some that it was an infection, disease and so on, mostly guesswork, but no one specifically told me what was certain, so I decided on nim oil, and whatever it is, I guess the problem should be solved. According to some leaves, I would say that insects might be the problem, but I really don't know, I haven't had similar problems before. I regulate the ph of the plants, I still don't feed them, there is food in the ground for another week, except for the fact that I added cal-mag after that storm when I watered them. I want to say that the plants are certainly not locked, and the heat is not yet so high that this would happen from the same, the more the temperatures have dropped and now it is perfect. Since transplanting, I have watered the plants only 2 times. Yesterday morning they were topped for the second time, only the main branches, I will do the next topping of the side branches. Last night I sprayed the plants with neem oil and already today the problem seems to be going away, if I tripped at least it doesn't spread further, that's for sure. I didn't mix the oil very well, I didn't add any soap or anything like that because I wouldn't really spray the plants with any chemicals, and on some of the leaves on one or two plants there is that thick, brownish liquid, so I hope it won't hurt them, I noticed that today during the day, I couldn't see it at night. I still don't know what the problem is, but my guess is still that the wind burned them or some insects. Speaking of insects, I think I noticed thrips on one plant on the underside of the leaf, so in addition to the neem oil I already gave, I also ordered SMC, so I will spray that at least once a week while they are still young. No veg phase, no forced speed — just letting the plant express itself naturally while guiding structure gently. From early life, our approach has been: • Leaf bending instead of topping • Minimal stress, frequent observation • No rush — letting the plant tell us when it’s ready Up until now, all work has focused on: • Building a strong, open frame • Keeping internodes exposed to light • Preparing the plant for flower without shocking it Week 6 from seed marks an important moment: 👉 The transition into flower structure, even if pistils are only just starting to show. This week is less about growth speed — and more about setting the stage. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work & Plant Training (This Week) This week we went a little harder than usual, on purpose. What We Did • Continued leaf bending, but with more intention • Light lollipopping of the lower, shaded growth • Selective defoliation (not a strip-down, not a clean shave) • Introduced plastic clamps to guide branches outward Why We Did It Leaf removal • Improves airflow inside the plant • Reduces humidity pockets • Helps light reach meaningful flower sites • Removes leaves that were blocking, not contributing Lollipopping (light) • Cleans up growth that would never reach the canopy • Helps the plant redirect energy upward • Makes future watering and airflow cleaner Clamps & bending • Opens the plant instead of stacking it • Creates multiple dominant tops • Avoids cutting or topping stress • Allows gradual correction instead of forcing angles We don’t see this as “defoliation” in the aggressive sense. We see it as guidance and clarification. Nothing here is done in one session or out of frustration. Everything is done slowly, plant by plant, read by feel. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day temperature: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (based on plant height and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm As outside temperatures remain cooler, the room itself has naturally become its own heat source: • More plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added This allowed us to stabilize the environment without forcing heaters or extremes, which is exactly how we like to work. Airflow • Vortex extraction • Cross-winds with multiple fans • Constant, gentle movement across the canopy No leaf flutter chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear nutritional transition. • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning to 6.0+ from now on) From this point forward: 👉 All feedings will be pH 6.0 and above Why Higher pH Now? As plants enter flowering, their nutrient priorities shift. A slightly higher pH improves availability of key elements needed for: • Flower initiation • Structural development • Energy transfer Nutrient Changes • ✅ Introduced: Terra Bloom — 5 ml/L • ❌ Removed: Terra Grow Simple, clean transition — no stacking, no panic feeding. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week Expect: • Stretch continuation • Tops adjusting to new light exposure • Faster response at exposed nodes • More visible flower initiation Do NOT expect: • Immediate bud stacking • Explosive flower size • Perfect symmetry overnight This week is about positioning, not payoff. Nov 20 - Watered Older plant at 8.30AM. Both plants are bulking up nicely. I think this will be the last week before they get the chop! Also Defoliated wilted leaves and burnt tips. Nov 21 - Cloudier trichomes, amber heads and some decapitated stalks. In harvest window. Just want the youngest colas to develop a bit further. Nov 22 - Watered Younger Plant at 10AM, defoliated wilted leaves as usual. Should water Older Plant today with some defoliation. There are more wilted leaves on older plant. Senescence started on Younger plant approximately a week ago and is prevalent on a few top colas on Younger Plant. Nov 23 - Older Plant watered at 9.30AM. Likely underwatered by half a day or so. Trichomes are still glassy. Nov 24 - Observed older plant trichomes, they're mainly cloudy with some amber. I will likely chop the older plant tomorrow morning. I'll give the younger plant another week and will water today - as GD member outlined pistil development is not finalized. Nov 25 - Chopped older plant at 5AM, trying to limit light. She's suspended upside down on a wire that I'm 50% sure will hold. Drying environment is Fridge set to 60F with roughly 60RH. Nov 26 - Harvested at 5AM. Plant fell down a couple times upside down due to poor rail made of gardening wire. I switched to paper bags which should be better for humidity control too. A very rough almost unperceivable wet trim left colas weighing at approximately 130g. Watered Younger plant at 8PM.

Aug 29: going great.

Wound doing minimal defoliation and pruning as you can see. Will prob prune the bottom leaves tomorrow and that will be it as far as Any pruning and defoliation goes. It is next to my wood stove rn which is not running however 90% of the time it will be this winter and stays around 70 degrees F and 40% humidity without the dehumidifier running. When the woodstove is not running it stays at 66 degrees and 50% humidity with dehumidifier running. For the last 3-4 days b4 harvest I will not run the wood stove and keep the dehumidifier on to get the colors out in this plant.

It was a perfect grow. The plant is ready and its 2 days before harvest. She will be potent, i cant wait to smoke her. I am happy that i had no problem with her.

Clones are nice and rooted threw off some new growth. So its time to rock and roll into flower. Get this breeding underway. Been on 12/12 for couple days now and the male has soared. Definitely gunna be more than adequate height to dump pollen down on my ladies. I treated with Dr zhymes as s preventative. I also got them on a balanced feed. I have one week left on a straight eater flush. These girls are ready for dec 24th harvest date. I did notice a couple bananas on this genetic, so ill be getting rid of the mom after this go. This is why i test all mothers.

Day 85. First Diesel down. This was the most Colourfull plant in all year, sad that it was triggered by light shock, still she was always praying, drinking water fast and loved life. Smells so fruity and fresh. Day 86. Other run pushes me to chop them earlier, but taste qualities i will get anyway, so Last to Chop is choped ;)

So I've chosen my final 6! 4 are 7 days old and the other 2 are 6 days old! A little slower in growth for some but I put that down to me having them in coco to start and I'm inexperienced with coco and as soon as I switched them to soil they perked right up so I'll stick to what I know and use soil starter plugs or soil or even root cubes have done me justice in the past, I run my diffuser twice a day to maintain my 60-70% avg RH I started at 25% power on the light at 10" and slowly increasing the power to 50% at 10" above canopy! As I'm using co2 im able to put the light closer and raise the temps! I was using a heat matt but honest opinion I think they're a Hazzard in some way and not necessarily necessary! Just my opinion as I came across problems with the substrate being too dry sometimes! But I will keep them in these pots for about another 3-5 days and then transfer them into a bigger but not final pot for an avg of 2-3 weeks! Can't wait to be at the end of may! Want my babies to be all grown up now lol but thanks for stopping by and wish me luck on my journey 😊

Nothing new this week.... See a bit of growth but not a lot.... Gave some nutrients and normal water... Looking good and healthy. Very excited to see how these 3 ladies turn out, that's if they are females, I can't see yet. There's a vid if you want to watch.

Fourthish week of flower and they have begun to pray 🙏🏼 well, most of them anyways. The largest still is suffering from an untreated overwatering and over nuteing condition but the others are looking nice! The ones on the roof were in full prayer and loved the hot afternoon direct sun. At this point, giving the flowers a squeeze rewarded you with sticky fingertips and a smell of stinky gouda cheese or similar. Crystals were starting to form on the sugar leaves which was exciting to watch for the first time. I was thoroughly impressed with the prayer formation that these plants assumed when conditions were prime. Very cool! You could see how the plant was able to maximize leaf surface area exposure while blocking the least amount of light from the leaves below. The light was being run on 100% and temps would be between 83 and 85 degrees. I was OK running it a bit hotter as it's an LED light. I like the light a lot - especially it's precision. Each 25% dim increment correlated to 2 degrees temp change. Nice!
