This was the girls last week! I decided to call them finished on day 63 the tricomes are almost all cloudy, with a small amount of amber. I’ve learned that they continue to degrade as you dry and cure your flower, so I’m trying something new for me, and pull them a little earlier than I usually would. In addition, after watching a podcast (Dude Grows Show) if you don’t know, check it out… I decided to run the lights for 18 hours instead of 12/12 for the last 5 days before harvest. The idea behind this, is to stress the plant enough to increase its natural sunblock/protections, which would be terpenes and tricomes just before you harvest, while also possibly quickening the finishing time for your plant. The group was discussing the benefits of this (listed above) while some already had implemented these practices when finishing plants. The recommended time to run extra light time would be around the last 5-9 days of the plant, without having any nanners or weirdness happening with your plants. Hello growmies! Welcome to week 9... which is the final week for these utterly rapid F1 hybrids from Royal Queen Seeds. Day 60: Well well well, while doing a quick loupe check I realised these ladies were about ready! So they were harvested and are currently drying! Harvest update to follow after dry. It is sort of hard to see the amber trichs under the microscope because in the actual buds themselves is where they were most developed, but it was easy to see with the loupe, and you can see some here and there on the sugar leaves and many "on the turn" and yellowing. Anyway they are drying now... and I have REALLY BIG NEWS. 83 days from seed, soil was hot from day 1 & I ended up stunting the plants this run... Low yield at 7g but still enough I will atleast be able to test after the cure to see if I want to run again! Smells like Grapes with a Gassy undertone! Grown in Black Swallow living soil with Cronks PUUR Organics line! I am a little bit worried about its flowers size so I've duplicated the green sensation dose from 1mL/L to 2mL/L due I haven't using any other fertilizer apart from the banana (+potato+honey) juice . These photos are intended to take a look at the state of their trichomes, since, according to the variety information, there is only one week left to be harvested (although I do not believe it). Lets see what happens.

10-14 days into flower.. all is good so far plants are healthy happy etc changed from 400w MH to 600w hps, I expected more stretch during the first week of 12/12 but so far its minimal..
