Week 11

A meio da 6° semana, fiz o primeiro lolipop antes da floração, dar uns dias pra curar bem e trocar o ciclo de luz 12/12h, vamos ver como estas meninas se comportam na floração!

2.10: Steady as she goes. 2.11: Day 23 from soil. Watered with 32oz from the tap at 6.3ph. Plant is healthy and i'm trying some leaf tucking. 2.12.2024: Day 24. Moving along nicely. Plant is very healthy. First sign of white tips but only on new growth. Could be light and/or nute related OR it could be normal. Will monitor. Did first round of LST just moving some fan leaves out of the way with pipe cleaners and shifting bud sites to get more access to light. 2.13.2024: No change. Plant looks good and still has a little moisture left from watering 2 days ago. No nutes used at this point. Still working with the original nutes found in the FFOF. 2.14.2024: Day 26. Moving along. No water, no hight adjustment. Did some LST on the bottom 4 branches just to guide away from the fan leaves. 2.15.2024: Day 27 from seed. Adjusted garden ties to even things out. Responding well to LST. White pistils came out the past two days. Raised light 5 more clicks. Still at 75 watts. Day 28 from seed. End of week 4 from seed. Top 2 inches of soil were very dry and pot felt light so i gave it another 64oz of water at 6.3ph. 8 to 10oz of run off. Run off tested at 6.4ph, 2100ppm. Having temp challenges so i shut the humidifier off. Currently sitting at 75 with 47rh.

I just added weeks 5 and 6 into one week because I didn't really have time to post last week. There seems to be a problem with my plants that I can't quite figure out. The only commonality that I changed with both plants since the last grow is the microbe Inoculant that I bought from NPK. The Black Afghan that I harvested back in November didn't have these microbes added to the soil and it grew into a monster. I am beginning to wonder if these microbes are stealing food from my plant. Even though these microbes are sold as "flowering" microbes. I'm beginning to think they are starving my plants. Also, I am technically 7 weeks from the flip to 12/12. So I may just be at the end of the flower period for these plants. I checked the Tricomes and they are mostly cloudy with about 5-10% amber. Normally at this point I would be cutting out the nutrients and letting her consume her leaves. However, she has already started to so that and now I don't know what to do. I just don't know. So... lesson learned. Stick to the basic nutes and stop trying to make this job harder than it needs to be. KISS

On the #2 really strange on one node, just one leaf, no stem, and I've seen that after, that's why I've keeped one stem from under. The plants recovered well from topping, 💦 I give water each 2 or 3 days 300 ml/plant Water + Rhyzo Water + Cannazym + Rhyzo Water + Terra vega + Rhyzo PH@6 Lamp @100% If stem are enough big, maybe topping again next week and defoliation. 2nd Week Report 24/10/19 - 31/10/19 25/10/19 I didn't flushed, but I filled the reservoir with 3l of 10% strength solution. Added to the current solution the same nutrients quantity as the first week (except for "Root Stimulator" and "Enzymes" that the first week were 20% strength and now got back to 10%). Now the reservoir should be filled with a 20% strength solution 29/10/19 - CMXL is 10cm height and it is growing really well along with his roots. - LSD is 6cm height and it is growing a little slower like his roots, but both of them look healty. I think in some days should start growing fast like CMXL Added 2 low frequency (113kHz) Ultrasonic Piezoelectric Discs: - One for the root chamber that should help with root expansion as it nebulize solution and the fog carries nutriments (like a small aeroponics integration) and will help my attempt of cloning. - One will stand in a 20% solution next to the plants to increase Humidity (and maybe feed them a little). I'll try to set them running 24/7 Switched water pump that sprays Rock Wool from 5sec every 30min to 6sec every 60min. Next week I plan to stop using the pump as "Top Feed" if roots will be well developed and probably I will use it as "Recirculation Pump" to keep nutrients in reservoir mixed better 30/10/19 Roots exposed to air inside reservoir got a little yellow after inserting the small fogger, so I will try to keep it 30/30 seconds ON/OFF. I will check next day if it's helpful to existing root o as root propagator for clone trial Topped CMXL and did a little of LST just by bending the main stem to expose the small growing next to fan leaves. The cutting was immediately dipped in a solution made by honey and Root Stimulation (the same I use for reservoir solution as it should contain rooting hormone), hoping it covers the cut like a gel and don't let the oxigen get in the cut until there will be some new growing. After that I put the cutting on the lid without any pot, as you can see in the picture some tape is covering the hole and it holding the topping. I covered it with a small jar to maintain humidity, hope to see some roots next week ;) I plan to fim LSD tomorrow if tonight grows enough 31/10/19 Filled the reservoir with 6L 20% strength solution and after that added 10% nutriment for 36L directly into the tote (like I did last week). Now nutrient solution inside reservoir should be 30% strength and it's ready for the 3rd week Pinched LSD Top with my fingers and applied LST by bending a little the main stem. Hope this FIMming works and returns better yield ;) Cloning trial didn't worked (I was expecting nothing, just a test), the cut part of the topping is already dry. El ph se controla en 6.5, la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/21 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de crecimiento puse 12h de luz, el foco está al 75% de potencia. Tenemos como visitante de nuevo los trips, compré depredadores que colocaré a principios de semana. Heya Growmies, this week was pretty eventful first off, the plant is in flowering in full force and doing really well despite a lot of user error throughout its life! I mentioned last week I was going to do two things, the plants last major defoliation and turn my DWC into a 2 bucket RDWC. I have managed to get around to both, I am always anxious when defoliating, scared of taking off too much but this time I really pushed my comfort zone, let me know what you think. before, in my other grows, I have a lot of larfy buds, I dont want those, I want tight, dense small nuggies, I think one of my bigger problems back then was defoliation amount, I just left too many fan leaves. RDWC.... Let me just say that I have proven to myself this week that I'm not destined to become a plumber, in my first iteration the drain line was too small, causing the pump to overpower it and overflow the plant bucket, I changed out the hose for some 50mm pvc tubing, which worked wonders, for the first few hours I sprung leaks and had to pull my plant out during her dark period to fix it; no bueno. All is well right now though, no leaks and everything is circulating nicely at 500 liters an hour. I could probably get a bigger pump, but its fine, I'm going to stop tempting fate. From here on out honestly, theres not much more for me to do other than go into the garden, pull a fan leave here or there, check flowers for nanners and balls and adjust the water. It's on cruise control now Stay safe out there growmies, keep growing!

Aug 1: she’s doing great after two weeks of force flowering. In dark garage at 9 pm, few seconds of 730 nm far red light and out of garage at 7 am. This gives 10 h of darkness plus 2 h of ‘virtual’ dark by initiating dark mode faster. Like having a 26 h day which is a great trick if you have daily access to your plant. Added another scrog net layer that is clipped to the lower net that is tied off to 500 g weights which holds things apart to let sunlight in. Hail net was out for a brief hard rain, but no hail this time.

Smooth sailing on this batch deep into flower! Were sitting at 85 days today and they are looking fantastic! Steady feeding flora bloom and flora micro. Also giving them 5ml/gal of advanced big bud. These ladies are FROSTY! Cannot wait till these ladies wrap it up! This auto critical is sitting an easy 35 plus days from harvest. This original auto from fastbuds will take around 120 days from seed to harvest, but she's gonna be a monster!

Last week of feed for this lady :) Update end of week nine , Well the bud production this week has been absolutely crazy , She has now slowed right down on her feeding too , so the flush begins , she still needs too cloud up and go amber but she will have enough nutrients in her and the soil too last her until she ripens , she really has been a joy too watch grow and develop , I would not think twice about growing this strain ,
