Magic Melon is taller and has grown faster since the first week, now it's buds are growing twice as fast as the Super Silver Haze. Lights are 12 inches from top of buds.

Day 14 Flowering: Good afternoon Growmies. I hope we are all getting some sunshine and have enjoyed Easter. Munchies and Easter are made for us guys!. lol The 3 Fast girls have been racing to get the tallest during their stretch period so far. It is clear to see the Mexican Airline has the lead there , even with my supercropping her 5th node to try to hold her back a little. She really is a lanky lady and without some l.s.t or tying , she would be very tall.. Bud sites are looking good so far and only time is needed now to see how she plans to fill those stems. Strawberry Pie is similar in height and stretch to the Mexican. Nice airflow underneath and her general size is good. Nice and healthy green with no signs of any issues. Six-shooter is the small girl who doesn't want to be messed with it seems. She is ambling along at a steady pace untouched and is a slightly lighter shade of green to the others by genetics I think now but I will keep my eye on this a little more in case a def hits. They are still stretching slightly but slowing down now. all good and as it should be be safe growmies. until next week

Day 141. Girl is thriving, but now nobody will close greenhouse for nights and watering will be very limited... In two weeks I am back and will give her all TLC she will want. She is the healthiest plant in all greenhouse ;) Happy Growing !!!

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Dear diary, Week 5 completed and after a scare last week with magnesium deficiency, we were able to get it sorted and continue the mainlining. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 32: Gave a foliar of calmag water at 3.0ms 6.1ph during light off so it’s more gentle on the leaves followed by a regular feeding at 1.46ms 6.1ph. Still seeing some deteriorating continuing on lower leaves, so will get epsom salt tomorrow to really target magnesium and increase the calmag with 0.7ml/l in feeds going forward. ⏰ Day 33: Gave a foliar of epsom salt at 6.6g/liter(3.2EC 6.3ph)as lights went off but as I read more my ratios were off and I diluted the solution with 50% regular water. Regular feeding at 1.45ms 6.2ph was given at lights on. When inspecting the girls a few hours later they look a lot healthier already, so clearly magnesium was the issue. Will give them today to recover and if everything keeps looking good by tomorrow, I will do the next topping. If so I will have lost 5 days of progress due to the deficiency, but that’s the upside with photos I guess vs autos. ⏰ Day 34: Another foliar of epsom salt applied and feeding of 1.5l each at 1.56ms 5.8ph. A few hours later topping nr 2 done making it 4 tops each now and stripped the remaining growth. I did however leave the fan-leaves attached to the new top node and for W.C #1 I left another set of fan-leaves for an extra boost as she’s a bit behind. ⏰ Day 35: Did a quick check before lights off and they are praying and looking good considering the topping. Then I did a regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.5ph when lights went on. Still looking good and no continued signs of the magnesium issue. Lastly I removed the extra 2 fan-leaves I had left on WC #1 as her new tops are growing nicely and turned up the light slightly. ⏰ Day 36: Regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.6ph. Girls are looking healthy and enough has grown out that I can start tying down the 4 new mains. Will probably top them again in 1-2 days if everything progresses nicely. ⏰ Day 37: Foliar of epsom given just as lights turned off followed by regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.8ph when lights turned back on. ⏰ Day 38: Regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.9ph. Topping nr 3 was also done bringing it to 8 tops each and I will do the 4th and final topping as soon as the nodes have developed a bit more.

D25 - Today was the first day in week four of veg. I had planned on starting her training today, but I found thrips in my other tent, so I was busy with that. However, I inspected the girl but couldn't see any thrips and then sprayed her with some chili tincture as a preventative measure. D27 - I still haven't seen any thrips on her, but I resprayed her yesterday anyway, just in case. Today, I started her LST and did some very light defoliation by removing the lowest two nodes. I also noticed that she is now in flower. Unfortunately, she is still too small to hang the mites sachet on, so for now, I hung it on the handle of the pot instead. D31 - She is in flower now at the end of the fourth and last week of veg. She looks healthy and vibrant, but she is also relatively small, so it will be interesting to see how she develops. It's the first time I have ever transplanted, so maybe I accidentally stunted her. But then, I've never grown this strain before, so I don't know what to expect either.

Week of 09/22 - Prepped through the week for clone transplants and B clones - Transplanted clean into 1 gallon pots (Set of 10 A clones in a 4x4 tent. B clones rooting in 17 gallon tote - prepping for 1 gallon transplant in 2 weeks. Mother has been in flower and moved into 4x4 tent on 09/24

🌿 Week 5 Update: Breaking Dominance & Structural Shaping Grow Environment & Conditions Light Cycle: 18/6 Training Method: LST (Low Stress Training) Pest Control: Active monitoring via yellow sticky cards (No current infestations noted). Weekly Observations & Actions This week was all about manipulating the architecture of the plant. I’ve officially moved into the vegetative training phase to increase my final yield potential. LST Execution: I’ve applied 90° LST clips to the main terminal. By pinning the main apex down, I am successfully redistributing auxins (growth hormones) to the lower lateral branches. Stem Health: The main stalk is showing great flexibility. No "knuckling" or stress fractures observed at the bend site. Growth Response: Within 24 hours of clipping, the secondary nodes began turning upward toward the light source, confirming the break in apical dominance. Root Zone: Maintaining consistent moisture levels. The plant is currently housed in a smaller starter pot nested within the main container I’m keeping an eye on root-bound signals before the final stage. Nutrient & Water Log Feeding: Continuing with the base veg formula. pH Level: Stable at 5.8 – 6.0 (Targeting the sweet spot for coco). Runoff: Minimal, ensuring no salt buildup in the early stages. The "Kewpie" Guard 👶 The garden guardians are keeping a close watch. They seem to be providing +5 to "Vibe Stats."

Week went again very uneventful, she is not very hungry anymore and had to constantly refill the reservoir with water to keep the ec in check. Trichomes are all cloudy and start to turn amber. She has developed that amazing purple hue and is sticky to the max, so definitely showing her glue heritable ;) I will continue to feed her until Wednesday this week and then start the flushing and darkness. Harvest will be next week end.

I really like create this budzai auto plant. Don't grow as I expect. But a really beautiful plant. And create two nice buds. The smoke is amazing.
