## 🌿 Week 19 The jungle is rising: (Flowering week 2 starts now) – The Power of the Perfect Root Zone & Controlled Feeding Welcome to Week 19! This run is proving to be a masterclass in how much difference a proper transplanting schedule and a restrained nutrient approach can make. The setup is thriving, and we have a very surprising plot twist in the tent this time! Let’s take a virtual step inside the jungle and look at the magic! 🎬👇 ### 🔎 What You See Inside the Jungle (Visual Update) If you peek into the tent right now, the first thing that hits you is a beautifully structured, deep green sea of leaves with an incredible architectural layout: * **The Plot Twist: A High Society Takes the Crown! 👑** In a complete reversal from my first run, a **High Society plant sitting right in the center has become the most dominant, aggressive grower in the tent!** To keep the canopy uniform and manage her explosive energy, I spent this week actively tucking and weaving her branches into the Scrog net. By bending her dominant tops horizontally into the grid, I successfully flattened her profile, giving the surrounding plants the crucial time and light they need to catch up and level out the canopy. * **The Lower Architecture (The "Tree Trunks"):** Looking under the hood, the training this run has been clean and precise. The lower sections look like well-manicured bonsai trunks. The stalks are incredibly thick and woody, providing a massive highway for nutrients. Every single lower fan leaf and weak node has been systematically cleared out (lollipopping), leaving a pristine, well-ventilated under-canopy where the automatic drip irrigation lines are locked into place. * **The Switch Dimensions & Canopy Balance:** During the switch to flowering, the genetic differences were initially clear—the Zupernova stretched to around **110 cm** and the High Society clones averaged **90 cm**. But with the center High Society pushing the limits and being woven into the net, the white Trellis grid is doing a phenomenal job keeping this jungle perfectly balanced. * **Pure Health:** The wireless sensor sits right on top of the canopy, bathing in the intense glow of the LEDs. The foliage looks pristine—a vibrant, healthy light-to-mid green sheen with absolutely zero clawing, zero nutrient spots, and zero burnt tips. The first flower clusters are forming beautifully at every single tip. ### 🎛️ The Golden Strategy: What Made the Difference This Run #### 1. Perfect Root Evolution (No Stagnation) Looking back at the root photos from transplanting, the root balls were pristine, bright white, and incredibly dense. Moving step-by-step (12 cm $rightarrow$ 11L $rightarrow$ 30L $rightarrow$ Final 35/45L) allowed the root system to thoroughly colonize each container. There are no unestablished "dead zones" or soggy pockets in the soil this time. #### 2. Natural Deficiencies Solved via Repotting So, early on, the hungry Zupernova showed a little hint of magnesium deficiency (you know, that classic yellowing between veins on the middle leaves). Instead of freaking out and dumping chemicals or Epsom salts into the soil—which totally messes with the EC—I just let the scheduled transplanting do its thing. The fresh soil immediately fixed the problem naturally, and the color came back in a few days. #### 3. Super Strict "Less-is-More" Nutrient Control I've been **super careful with fertilizers** this whole time. Last time, adding too many nutrients too early in pre-amended soil caused a huge EC buildup when the plants started flowering. That led to osmotic blockages where the plants literally dried up from the inside out right after I flushed them in wet pots. This time, the EC in the soil is perfectly balanced. Since the pots are packed with active, hungry roots, the automatic drip irrigation system works flawlessly, and the soil dries out beautifully and evenly. ### 🌤️ Climate & Parameters * **Light:** My main LEDs are locked at the perfect height, giving a strong, even light spread across the whole canopy without creating hot spots. * **Irrigation & Sensors:** The wireless sensors track the climate right at the growth tips. The automatic drip lines ensure a precise dry-back cycle. The tops are stretching perfectly through the grid, the center dominance is beautifully managed, and the first flower formations are setting up for an epic harvest. Lesson learned: Give the roots space, manage the canopy with the net, and go easy on the nutrients! Let me know what you think of this center-weaving strategy in the comments! 👇🌲

Here we gooooo! We are headed i to weel seven going strong! This plant here is definitely taking her time to flower, starting to produce thriclomes! Im not too sure if I stunned her in week 5. How ever this is a Sativa dominant hybrid. I've learned that sativas have a bit longer of a flowering time! Im thinking we have 3 to 4 more weeks of flower to go! Still keeping my main focus on keeping the plant healthy and fed! With a great flowering environment, vpd, humidity. I did have a few colder days last week so I was a bit worried about the fluxation in heat, but shes doing well! Much love and happy growing! Im excited for the weeks to come! ✨️✨️✨️✨️ Lets Go GUAVA SLUSHY

My little experimenting already bears fruits of knowledge, I've topped too close to the node without leaving a bit of stem, and whilst tying down the branch during LST, I had a gnarly stem split. However a cool head, some grafting tape and a day of healing and this rugged little plant picked herself right back off the floor and shot up inches overnight! More and more pistils are shooting out and this plant is stretching so much, as is typical of OG strains, my last autoflower is nearly done, after which I will put a trellis net in and this lady can have the entire place to herself!

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Drop a like and follow along for more grow insights 🌿✨. See you next week!

Finishing up beautifully and really happy with all 3 plants. Yield is looking a little less than I expected but it was only a hunt for the right pheno so I am still very happy.

Week 10 for 9lb Hammer F2 These 2 girls are really really starting to fill out as well I've pulled one apart to stretch her sideways didn't have time this morning to do her sister though. The one that i stretched out finally started drinking up all that rain water from the other week. The other is still quite heavy.

I was trying to be artistic. I'm so stressed. I may roll another one. Unfortunately, I'm smoking medical cannabis. It tastes like shit. But, well few more weeks. End of poverty. More art is coming. Hopefully less weird. My hand is so shaky. Apologies for this, but the little camera compensates a bit. I did not play the music. Do you remember Napster? Well, come from there somehow. Appreciate

Welcome to the start of week 5!! These ladies are really taking me by surprise with the growth they are getting !! I'm getting really excited to start training these ladies to make myself a kick ass canopy ! I will be topping shortly after they finish the node they are working on now and from there the training will begin. They got slightly over watered when I transplanted them an so the base leaves got minor discolouration but that's ok they are happy , strong and thriving ! A big thank you to the people who take the time to come check out the diary , keep on keeping on !! Happy Growing! -V.G Day#26V Ladies responding well to watering! Growing along going to top at next node ! Day#1 Since watering 1 cup at 520PPM Day#27V Pictures N/A. Growing , growing and growing! Almost time to top !!!! Day#2 Since watering 1 cup at 520PPM Day#28V Pictures N/A. Topped both ladies , time to get them trained !!!! Day#3 Since watering 1 cup at 520PPM Day#29V Pictures N/A. Watered ladies 1 cup each at 150PPM ( B52 only PH 6.3 ) Seem to be healing nice from topping. Day#30V Ladies are responding nicely from being topped Ivy is gonna grow out 4 mains instead of 2 ! Im so pumped !!! Day#1 Since watering 1 cup at 150PPM Day#31V Pictures N/A. I'd like to think the ladies are recovering well from the topping . One will come out with 2 branches and the other with 4. Day#2 Since watering 1 cup at 150PPM

12 on 12 off, missing my girls... I spent about 35 mins tops with them during the week, and then I love giving them the attention they deserve on the weekends, what else is there to do when the worlds gone mad? 2nd grow on the "smart plug cycle" and the cost is so low..I am extremely happy with the SPIDER FARMER SF2000, but there's times I just want to plug in the 1000w to penetrate deep into the plants but the reasons for the LEDs is to grow some heady herbs for less. LEDs can get expensive but its just start up costs, after that you don't have to change bulbs and you don't notice the pull on the electric bill. WIN WIN the ladies have been busy this week and producing which means i'll need to go in tomorrow and do a clean up. happy growing! ...GOOD VIBES here!!! HAPPY GROWING!!!!! 1/26/21 had to switch up watering today due to demands from the plants. This is where it gets tricky, 2 weeks left of feeding before flush and all I am trying to do is keep as many leaves possible to feed all those buds. I am usually just a big bud person but I recently purchased a hash machine and I know a couple old heads that still love bubble soooo... THE SEED PHARM.... I will be going back very soon for more of this nice plant and something different. THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH ROOM!!!

Hello Growers and Tokers! Welcome to another run where I'll be testing something from a local breeder. The cultivar is Orange Apricot x Mimosa from Mallorca Breeders. This cultivar is a treat, I've had the delight of smoking this grown from the actual breeder. If it comes out anything like that I'll be more than happy. Frosty buds, very oily, very tasty, very hard, very nice, very everything! It was a 10/10 smoke Let's hope we have a 10/10 grow to have some 10/10 nugs. Strain description from breeder: Genetic Background: Orange Apricot x Mimosa Type: Feminized Sativa 50% Indica 50% THC: CBD: Yield Indoor : gr/m2 Height Indoor: 0 - 0 cm Flowering time: 8 - 9 weeks ( 55 - 60 days) Aroma:
Effect: Expectations and training method: I know these genetics are a bit delicate so I’ll be taking things very easy.
The breeder suggests waiting until the fan leaves come out to decide the training technique. If the fan leaves are thinner then it’s leaning more towards Orange Apricot and will be a bit more sativa and has more ramifications so most likely LST. Thicker fan leaves would be leaning towards Indica which is what I actually want, the Mimosa side. Breeder recommends topping this Pheno to increase yields. Let’s hope they’re Mimosa leaning..
As for the yields I’m not expecting more than 40 grams per plant but always shooting for more. I’ve already smoked this strain grown by the breeder and other local breeders, which is what made me want to grow it myself. I expect nothing but trichomes and terps from these ladies. Equipment used in this cycle: Tent: Dutch Masters 120x240x220cm Lights: 1 x Mars Hydro TSW2000 1 x Mars Hydro FC3000 Ventilation: Garden HighPro - ProFan TT Extractor Fan - 150mm Garden Highpro - ProActiv Carbon Filter - 150mm Garden Highpro - ProFan Oscilating Clip Fans - 25cm Blauburg - Inline Fan - 125mm Humidifier: Garden Highpro - Humipro Digital Humidifier - 4 liters Pots: Garden Highpro 11L Fabric pots Medium: Biobizz Light Mix Nutrients: Grotek - Mycrorizo Plagron- Alga grow, Alga Bloom, green sensation and royal sugar. PH down Calmag Measuring instruments: Hygrometer/Thermometer - Govee: EC Meter - HM Digital: COM-80S Hydrotester PH Meter - Vanguard Hydroponics Happy Growing! 😃

This week I noticed the buds got more bigger but also the calcium deficiency has gotten worse and so to battle that I added gypsum to the medium and gave them two waterings with banana peels 🍌in the water ( I read banana peels give off Potassium, Phosphorus, Calcium, and magnesium) hopefully they bounce back and my yield isn’t affected too bad.

Big Fat Wedding Cake has been switched to just ph water. I did burn her with too much nutrition. Half my plants loved the dose, and the other half didn't. Overall she has grown great under the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights. The colas are frosty and smell good. Mt next update will be her harvest. I reduced light strength to 60 percent as well.
