8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. IF NOT IM GOING TO TREAT THE THRIPS THAT ARE ON TWO PLANTS NOW. I THINK IM GOING TO GO WITH BT-K FOR NY PILLARS AND HOPE THAT THE DISH SOAP IN THE MIX KILLS THE THRIPS. THANKS. 8/18 We got the rain we were expecting. It was sheet rain for a few hourscand rained during the night. Everything was drenched and it was cold (50°F). I shook off the special kush that's way further in flower. I decided to use the leafblowrr despite the risk of spreading anything. I did it so that it wasn't ever blowing TOWARDS another plant but still. I was hoping it might blast off some thrips that might have survived that torrential rain. We've never had a dry summer like this. I'll moniter things. My water day is tomorrow so I assume that's when the girls will get their plant doctor dose. It's a great time of year for cannabis growers. We get to watch all the hard work we've put in literally pay off. It's very peaceful in the garden. EDIT: Went over at about one to check things out and do some minor defoliation. I checked on the thrip situation and I dont know if I blasted them off with the leafblower or if the rain washed them away bit I doubt it. Ivecmade the decision to treat these little bastards. It's on one plant but it's started to spread to another branch on another plant. I probably just overlooked it but still. Seeing that it rained like he'll and I'm seeing like zero signs of septoria I'm going to treat everything. At least I think I am. I haven't decided what to use. I think I could just use bt and soap and I'd probably be alright. I'd feel better doing that as it's something I'm familiar with. Outdoor growing. It's always something. 8/19 In the 40's last night. Hopefully that will help with the thrips. I was hurried and since today tops at 72° I only watered the 10th planet big mk ultra and the chem dog with preventative plant doctor. I'm not seeing hardly any septoria and if I do itsca random leaf. I mixed up 3tsp of citric acid and some Dawn in a 2 quart hand sprayer and treated the 10th planet that I thought had heat stress and the Pink kush in the ten gal that has the damage. I also treated a branch on my good tenth planet. It was the only branch with markings so I think I've got it early enough. I'm just wondering the best way to tackle this. The pink kush I'm sure, could handle spinosad. That strain is much later flowering. I'll see how the citriccacid works and go from there. If the other girls need water they'll get it when I get home alongcwith plant doctor. I've got some work to do. I'll keep this updated. Opinions are always welcome. ITS TIME FOR THERE PLANT DOCTOR PREVENTATIVE. 8/20 I watered the two kush in the back WITH THE PREVENTATIVE DOSE OF PLANT DOCTOR as they were dry I assume due to the wind they get. The one in the 50 I found one sep leaf. Looking carefully arpund the garden I can tell that I have a thrip infestation. First time I've fought this and it seems most people don't really know what to do besides predators at the beginning of the season. I'm too far along for spinosad. At least thats what I've been told. My pro buddy said to try to spot treat it. It's not bad bit I'm afraid it might be worse than I think. The plants I treated with citric acid look MUCH better. I think I'll dial the dosage of citric acid down and start with that tonight and switch up treatments. I can get rid of them it's just going to take a ton of work. I think I've had them before and I attributed to something else. I so think that the very early pink kush plants could handle spinosad. I hope so. The plants I watered the other day look overwatered. The plants I didn't water look GREAT. The special kush in late flower looks happier than I've ever seen her. The difference being we went from 104° one day to 72 the next with 46° night Temps. This week is highs of 70's lows of high 40°'s. I've got a lot of work cut out for me. Didn't do a video as I didn't have time but I'll do one

Trainwreck also doing great, plant is healthy in the same living soil setup like the others, only water no fertilizer. I did the same type of defoliation, removing fan leaves and leaves that grow to the center of the plant to get more light penetration. I also removed small lower branches and leaves to create a better airflow at the bottom of the plant.

Start of Flower. PPFD avg. 700 Soaked entire pot. Started my Flower Foliar Spray right before lights out. I will Spray plants once a week for 4 weeks of Flower. Foliar Spray Recipe per 2L as follows: All Advanced Nutrients Products. 4ml Bud Ignitor 4ml Nirvana 4ml Bud Factor X 10ml B-52 Midweek update. Second round of foliar spray. Ladies loved the first round, went with a second. Ill do this twice a week until I'm through week 4 of Flower. Video is right after I sprayed for the 2nd round at 15 mins before lights out. Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. Nov.5 -we placed these girls in a paper towel and paper towel in ziplock Nov.6 - Once girls seeds showed tap root we placed the tap root down into the rockwool Nov.9 - Started DWC, put a small layer of pellets at the bottom then placed in rockwool then covered rockwool with pellets Nov.10 - Took a light away and put it in our small tent, these guys only have the one light now

While we're not huge on autoflower plants, this one turned out really nice, not a huge yield, maybe just over an Oz dry but her bag appeal can't be beat.. we may actually grow this strain again but probably outdoors, our autos always seem to preform better in the garden. Sour wiz came out amazing. Not many problems during her grow. Each pheno came out really different but that’s from my doing. I trained each plant differently to see what the difference would be. Responds really well to stress and training. I can’t tell you in words how great the flowers are. They’re literally coated in trichomes and smell and taste so damn good. Fruity sweet gasoline. Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. Had my 4 year cancer checkup and the doctor couldn't find anything wrong. Stuck a camera in my nose and down my throat and said "Looks Good". Get my last checkup in a year, then I can say, I'm cancer free. Thanks Rick Simpson... Red Runtz x (Ice Cream Cake x Kush Mints #11) Got 21 seeds when the package said 12. Wow.. I love getting extra... There was no other name on the package. Don't know quite what to call it? I'll try it in a year or so. Got stuff to try before then. Everybody is doing good and getting very smelly in here. Sorta a creamy orange smell now. Just 3 weeks to go and we're getting yellow leaves in here as the plants pull what they need from the fanleaves before turning them brown OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Day 70 from seed Checked inside of some buds near the stem. Super compact and plump. No mold visible. Looked @ some trichomes. Some how the right one catched up, they both on track with like 10% ambers. Lower part of the plant is slightly behind, im waiting to chop so that part can develop a little more. Not gonna do a 48 hours darkness, the buds are way to dense to handle that humidity. 2 or 3 more days to chop suey! Also the blueberry autos are coming along well. When the Lemon Cherry Cookies are chopped i will start the blueberry diary. This time in autopot system with airdomes, coco + perlite (70/30) with living soil mix from Bionova. Got some new dry salts (powdered nutes) for these ladies that i want to try out in the late phase. Its gonna be fun!

This week, I introduced the Autopot system, letting our green friend decide when and how much to drink. It's like giving her the keys to the watering kingdom, and she's embracing the freedom beautifully. First and foremost, a hearty shoutout to Seeds Mafia for gifting us with genetics that keep on giving. The resilience and vigor displayed by our Big Cheese Auto are a testament to the quality seeds we started with. Now, let's dissect the nutrient symphony that's been playing in the background: Regulator (0.15ml/L): Our humidity maestro continues to dance with the elements, ensuring a stress-free environment for our plant. The monoclinic acid is working its magic, and our Big Cheese Auto is sipping contentedly in her newfound freedom. Calmag (0.25ml/L): Calmag, our nutrient bodyguard, remains on duty. This week, it's all about maintaining that structural integrity as our plant starts gearing up for more vigorous growth. Strong stems, sturdy leaves – the foundations of greatness. All-in-One Liquid (1ml/L): The NPK trio in the All-in-One Liquidstoped as the pellets on the soil s are now available and are the backbone of our nutrient regimen. Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium – it's a growth party, and our Big Cheese Auto is the VIP. This all-in-one soil simplifies our feeding routine, letting us focus on the art of cultivation. Start Boost (0.25ml/L): Start Boost, the architect behind our root cathedral, is still in play. Those micronutrients are like construction workers building a solid foundation for our plant's future.
