Had another nice week. The fastbuds have started to flower already!! One is real squatty and the other one is look real nice. The deep Purple is taking off. Been pinning it down to train the big one and is looking awesome. This strain really loves the super soil. Having a blast so far 👍

The plants are all super healthy. Just getting water in their autopots. Absolutely huge . Gorilla girl is 10cm off my head height in her pot. And I am 6ft 2ins. Rooms too full to get any pics that do not just look like jungle. But wow so healthy and green . Love it.

we pass 6 weeks of flowers. buds are getting fulled and the smell is so so beautiful. Here on pics is day 35 of flowering. On feeding menu is again Iguana Juice Bloom, I spend all Mother earth. it is awesome nutrients. will buy it again.

Hey guys, allot happened this week. Mid week on Wednesday I did a major heavy defoliation, she was very bush and allot of internode growth. I clean up everything and allowed more light pen. Also nipped any undesired off growths. Shaping how I want the plant to grow. Basically lollipoping. As you can see I also started to install 4x 1/2 bamboo sticks to help support the plant once she gets bigger. I had problems last year late into flower and don't want to repeat same mistake. I also amended the pots with 70/30 ratio of 444 to 284 @ 2tbs/gal. Iv only water once in the past 7 days with the Aquabak. Not enough data to review the product. We will see. Other than that we have had plentiful thunderstorms and have not required to water. Thanks to the felt pots, they did not get flooded with the amount of rain we got. Prolly 50-100mm worth of rain. Week 2 There has been an explosion of growth over the last week. I am amazed by how explosive it was. There are some nice bud sites forming as well. I did get a little bit of yellowing at the tops of a few fan leaves so I don’t think I will go quite as high feeding wise. I’ll go a 100ppm or so lower than what the feeding schedule recommends. I had a bit of an accident though. I was doing a little LST and I snapped a top clean of 🤦‍♂️ So now I am down to 15 tops, doh! Cooler internals for the week were: 6.0 pH 420 ppm on the 500 scale 0.9 EC 66F water temp. I can’t wait to see what week three brings! Onward 😎🍻🌱

Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. The mind is constantly working and producing, just like a factory. It's not just a passive recipient of information but an active producer of ideas, attitudes, and beliefs. The "ingredients" in this factory are the information you consume, such as books, conversations, and the media you engage with. The "products" are your thoughts, beliefs, and actions. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function. I am playing in the enchanted forest. Que pasa familia, vamos con la séptima y última semana de floración de estas Gorilla cookies Auto de FastBuds. Por el momento todo va bien tienen buen color, van madurando esas flores. Llevan solo agua toda la semana. Por supuesto el ph se mide en cada riego y se mantiene en 6.2 y riego en intervalos de 48h. La temperatura está entorno al 22/24 grados y la humedad anda sobre el 50%. La verdad para ser autos es que me han hasta sorprendido , buena estructura, resistentes , fáciles, huelen fuerte y están llenas de resina. Qué más puedo pedir? I've started lollipopping and removing the smallest skinniest branches. I'll do this throughout the week and stop on day 21. I've picked off a few top fan leaves for light penetration too. It's awesome to see this many pistils going into week 3. I'll be posting a midweek update as well. 6/20 Not too much to update, I've plucked off all the small short stems that I don't want, added a 7" oscillating fan, and started working koolbloom powder into my nute regimen. My clone tent has a pretty bad fungus gnat infestation, so I treated that tent and this one with neem oil. Happy growing!

July 27: starting the second week of force flowering by providing 10 h darkness in garage plus ‘2 bonus hours’ from the 730 nm far red light. The use of the far red light is like getting a 26 hour day. So 12 h dark plus 14 h sunlight. Anyway, she is stretching a bit and clearly starting to flower. Looks good. New growth is pretty yellow so did a foliar spray of Epsom salts to give her Mg and S. July 30: great conditions the last few days and she is growing great. Mostly just pHed water lately to avoid over-doing it on the nutes. Looks healthy and happy. Aug 2: watered with some molasses and about 1 tbsp per gallon of Epsom salts (MgSO4). Still doing 10 h in dark garage and using the 730 nm far red light to get an extra 2 h in dark mode.
