Week 8 Vegetation Report – Eternity Grow Cup Welcome back, everyone! We’re diving into another exciting update for our Eternity Grow Cup journey. This week marks week 8 of vegetation, and our girls are thriving! Let’s break it down: Growth & Structure All five phenos continue to impress, with strong, bushy growth and uniform structure across the board. They’re praying to the ThinGrowLED Model Ones, which have been running on channel one only, and they’re absolutely loving it. The leaf development is lush and vibrant, a sign that they’re thriving under the current conditions. Environmental Conditions We’re keeping things dialed in with stable environmental parameters: Temperature: 20.7°C Humidity: 57.2% CO2 Levels: 1569 PPM (a bit high but manageable) VPD: 1.05 kPa PPFD: 355 µmol/m²/s Each of these factors plays a crucial role in maximizing plant efficiency, and we’ll go deeper into why these values are set as they are. Featured Grow Gear – WCS2 Substrate Sensor This week, we’re also highlighting part of the grow gear in use—specifically, the WCS2 substrate sensor. This sensor measures: Soil temperature EC levels Water moisture It's currently placed in the Autopots, which are not yet connected. For now, we’re still top-feeding to encourage root expansion. By allowing the roots to reach the bottom of the pots before activating the Autopot system, we ensure they establish a strong foundation for optimal nutrient uptake. We’ll go deeper into this method and why it’s an essential step in the process. The Bigger Picture As always, this journey wouldn’t be possible without the support of some incredible people and brands. Big shoutout to: Zamnesia, Plagron, and GrowDiaries for making this competition a reality. Aptus Holland, TrolMaster, CannaKan, Grove Bags, and Ziggi Papers for their continued support. The entire community—supporters, followers, lovers, and haters alike—because everyone plays a role in making this grow series truly special! Stay Tuned & Get Involved! Don’t forget to follow along on YouTube and Instagram for exclusive content, behind-the-scenes insights, and in-depth discussions. Like, comment, and subscribe so you don’t miss the next updates—it’s only getting better from here! Let’s keep pushing forward, and best of luck to all the competitors—we’re all growing something incredible together. Until next time! Noticing the stretch stop, and now packing out there bud sites 💪💚 ACOP , Melonade Runtz have Xmas tree structure where as orange bud is pure tall sativa structure... The Overdose is a compact indica looking dwarf but the bud sites are packing out a punch 👊🤣 Day 54 23/08/24 Friday Watering only today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, I'm watering in 350ml no run off. 400ml I'm seeing tiny run off. Week 3 has started well, the plant looks really healthy and I've noticed that it has become thirstier, I've been watering it now every 2 days and I'll give it a 1L water at once with 6.9PH. The only thing which I am concerned about is the height of the plant, I've noticed that it grows only bushier and bushier but the height is almost the same as a week ago, I have done a lot of research and what I have found this shouldn't be anything to be worried about as I am not under/overwatering the plant. But please if someone more experienced grower sees this, let me know if you notice something I don't, all the tips are more than welcome! I've fed my lady twice this week with 1/4 of the recommended dose of nutes, I also gave some hesi booster to her first time this week. I have started low-stress train her this week and it seems to work great. I have decreased the humidity and temperature a bit this week as well (22c and 45%) Week 4 has now started and I will post some pictures at latest by weekend 😎

the photos are all of NL#1 because that plant has all of the attention. it got transplanted, i know "dont transplant an auto".. kill me for it. anyway.. that was a HORRIBLE!!!! Experience and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND not doing this if you have no clue what you are doing. I almost lost a Plant... why was i transplanting in the first place? well first of all as a new grower what did i do? I over Fed the plants 😆.. and they were not happy. i tried flushing but that made it worse so i needed to add new soil to hopefully dilute some of the nutes. The transplant from a 5 gallon bucket was not and will never be a task for one person to do alone. some roots got ripped she got banged around a but then the entire plant went droopy and it was like hell trying to get it to stand again. NL#2 is doing okay just a flush and it is doing fine i hope.

a week or so and you could never tell there were two plants in the tent ! she has taken over the entire space now. Increased all the good stuff up a notch because she has never got any burnt tips or anything, she just drinks and drinks. Every 24 hours, 4 litres of nute water (with about 400ml runoff). I mean I never thought a plant would drink that much ??? I am questioning the feeding method, this is very binding... an irrigation system perhaps? Meanwhile off she goes, no fucks given

Yellowing advancing brow spots, some leafs drying and falling off. One girl I will flush tomorrow to cut on the weekend. The other 2 have more one week or 2. Is these yellowing hurt on the stage the girls are?

Good week same as last time couple more tears, some more major then others. But the original first snap seems to be healed so im confident with tapping they would heal fast. Going to be cutting for clones because i want to flip into flower ASAP going ti transplant into 5gallon first. Also ordering a new LED. Amazon led did okay for the budget but its time to see what i can really do! Very excited 🤠

No great results, just notice a small growth of the buds size, leaves look dark green so I’m removing fish mix from the fertilisers

It has been a pretty good week for the girls. They are well into flower now. Unfortunately I noticed some brown spots starting to show up. I suspect the soil got a bit hot, so even though this is amended soil mix I watered them with a bit of run off at the end of this week to get some of those excess nuts out. They are starting to smell, and it’s quite a floral aroma, something I haven’t tried before. I imagine they will take another 3 weeks before the finish line... maybe even 4. It’s really nice so see how even they look, the same pheno 8 out of 8. Hope you’re enjoying the ride! 🍀

Beginning of week 5 The Plants finished stretching & started producing flowers. I did some more defoliation at the bottom of the plants. The Co2 in the tent is getting a little bit better, but in my opinion still way to less. But overall, the plants are very healthy. These ladies are drinking about 2.5 liters of nutrient solution every day, they thirsty as fuck.

WEEK 11 - (05/09/2021 - 05/15/2021) Week 3, Day 17 - FLOWER: 05/11/2021 Doing 2 gallons of water per 5 gallon pot this watering due to lack of runoff in weeks prior. I’m thinking I could be letting the pots dry out a little too long in between so the 1.5 gallons hasn’t been enough for each watering. When I stick my finger into the medium 2 or 3 days after watering it still seems like the soil has plenty of moisture so I wait another day or two. I know fabric pots are supposed to dry out usually in 2-3 days, but the soil still seems too moist, and I don’t want to overwater. It seems like ever since transplanting into 5 gallons and switching them to a 12/12 light cycle, watering got more complicated. Maybe I am overthinking the whole process. I just don’t want to risk ruining my crop, you know? Tap water: 223ppm, 8.6 pH, 70℉ (9 gallons total) + HydroGuard: 9ml/9 gallons + pH Down: 30ml/9 gallons Mixture: 267ppm, 6.0 pH, 70.4℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 1330ppm/1063ppm, 6.3 pH AP#1 - 1310ppm/1043ppm, 6.3 pH AP#2 - 1160ppm/893ppm, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 1350ppm/1083ppm, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 20 - FLOWER: 05/14/2021 Watered a day earlier than I usually do, with .5 gallons less water per plant. So each plant got a total of 1 gallon of water for their 5 gallon pots. This is really just to take the question out of the back of my mind: Am I letting the pots dry out too much going four days until the next watering? I will check on the plants shortly after they wake up tomorrow to observe their reaction to the watering. None of the plants produced really any runoff, which was boggling to me, because when I water there is usually anywhere between 10-20%, and that’s after watering on the fourth day. Needless to say, I was unable to take readings this time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 21 - FLOWER: 05/15/2021 5:30 p.m. - Decided to check on the plants since I watered a day earlier (yesterday) than I have been since transplanting into the 5 gallon fabric pots. This was kind of an experiment to see how the plants would react to watering on the third day rather than the fourth, because I keep doubting myself. Anyway, when I checked in on the plants, a few leaves looked ever so slightly droopy. Not terrible. It appears that some of the leaves had begun to swell up a little as well. Not 100% sure if these are actually early signs of being overwatered this time, or if it’s something I have simply overlooked until now. Just to be sure, I’m going to water once more on the third day to see how the plants respond. The plants seem to be doing well this week. I've finally installed another ScroG net on the second level to help maintain the canopy. Since I cut the first layer of net the plants quickly started to get out of control and began to grow unevenly across the canopy. The trichomes are starting to appear on all of the plants, with the exception of the American Pie #1. This pheno is a little behind. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with how differently this plant was trained compared to her sisters (The manifold/mainline technique was applied). Possibly could have even defoliated her a little too heavy and she's taking a few extra days to bounce back. She's still producing early buds though, which is good. 👌 That just about wraps up this week. Things just keep getting more and more exciting with each journal entry. All the girls should have about 5-7 weeks left in flower before they are ripe for harvest. Hoping to have another tent and light setup by the end of flower so I can get some more seeds started. Thanks for stopping by and spreading the love. And remember: Don't drink and drive, smoke and fly! 🙌
