Looking For A Keeper cream of the crop seeds purple paralysis 2nd April 2021 First of all ... Phew!!!! That was a long grow!! I've done all of the Main trimming and have a heap of Jars full of Stinky Buds ready to begin the curing process. 😍😍 It was a challenge growing in new conditions during Summer with Temps often getting above 45 degrees celcius Thunderstorms and High winds became an issue once or twice and finally the worst part was the Bloody Caterpillars 😣 Those buggers gave me the absolute shits for the last 5 weeks of the plants life . These plants actually started from clones taken from a Purple paralysis plant that I was hoping to flower last year. However due to an unavoidable trip away I lost that plant but the clones survived. So then my plan became to plant them both into a garden bed filled with my soil mix which basically consisted of locally sourced Red dirt and washed river sand mixed with Cattle manure , worm castings , garden lime and Lucerne mulch. The Plants thrived thru the summer months and into Autumn and ended up yielding 19 ounces plus Lots of good quality trim. I love this strain and have definately found myself a Keeper in this one . I'd really like to get the oppurtunity to try other strains from Cream of the crop seeds and maybe I will before too long. the girls are struggling a little bit. One is yellowing because its about to flower, but one is just not growing much and the other is very lanky.

We are at day 21 on this gorilla cookies. I think she would be quite a bit bigger if I didn't break one of the mains on week 2 but she is still chugging along and growing well. I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp per gallon and started them on a little armor si so they can build some strong branches. Still running them on 24 hour light and 24 hour irrigation. They are going to stay under the blurple lights for a few more weeks until I can get them in the big room under the quantum boards. I'm hoping they will flower around 4 weeks but my autos seem to enjoy staying in veg so we will see what happens.

Guava Runtz – Week 11 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026) Guava Runtz is done. She was harvested and lightly wet trimmed, then properly trimmed after drying. She is now in the jar for curing. Final dried weight came out at 34 g. Beautiful red colors throughout and a strong fruity smell that hits hard. Really happy with how she turned out.

This week has been quite eventful in terms of growth and maintenance. The plants have doubled in size, which is a great sign that they are responding well to the current conditions. The increase in light intensity and the regular feeding schedule seem to be paying off, as the plants are now much larger and healthier. I also conducted the first defoliation this week. I’m aiming to use techniques like defoliation only once a week, to give the plants enough time to recover and avoid unnecessary stress. The defoliation was carefully done to improve airflow and light penetration to the lower parts of the plants, ensuring that the energy is focused on the areas that need it most. The plants have shown resilience so far, and I’m optimistic about how they’ll bounce back after this session. I'm continuing to closely monitor all plants, especially after such significant growth, to ensure that they are responding well to the defoliation and training from last week. Looking forward to seeing how they progress over the next week as they recover and continue to grow!

All the ladies bounced back from the little stress at the transition. They are all charging. On 9.11 I’ve increased the light from 600 to 660w. We will see tomorrow how they handle it.

Yesterday I wanted to hang the lamp a little lower and unfortunately it fell into a plant. The damage could be greater but it makes me a little sad. One BigBud looks really beautiful and is slowly turning purple. no one else does that. I also ordered canna terra flores because a few defects are slowly becoming noticeable, especially in the 6 l pots. I am otherwise very satisfied. I currently water about 2 liters in the 6 liter pots and about 3 liters in the 9 liter pots. I will probably use fabric pots or AirPots less in the future because watering them annoys me so much and they dry out very quickly.

Week 5 : What an exiting moment, the buds started to appear. Apparently the the topped master KUSH is doing well, was shocked for a day but has a nice canopy promising a sufficient yield I assume? LST still going on.
