03.08.26 eine weitere Woche in einem episch heißen Sommer bricht an für die kleinen Autos auf meinem Balkon. Ich möchte an dieser Stelle die Gründe dafür teilen, warum ich in Zukunft keine Autos mehr auf diesem Balkon anbauen werde. Auch beste Genetik, wie diese Saison wird beschränkt durch den halben Tag direkte Sonne die der Standort bekommt. Bei einer verkürzten Zeitspanne für vegetatives Wachstum ist die Chance einfach gering, am Ende für mich zufriedenstellende Ergebnisse zu erzielen was den Aufwand angeht. Aktuell sehe ich, das die Hubbabubba Haze auf jeden Fall schöne und auch zahlreiche Buds liefert, die weiter anschwellen, gut riechen und mir für meinen Bedarf ausreichend Ertrag liefern werden. Selbst im Schatten der Großen in dem sie nun die meiste Zeit sind ist das gegeben. Dennoch möchte ich unter den geltenden Regeln für den Eigenanbau in Zukunft lieber drei ordentliche Tannen haben. Davon abgesehen von ich mit der Genetik zufrieden, es riecht nun schon deutlich auf dem Balkon und ich freue mich auf Haze aus eigenem Anbau. Ich schätze das die kleinen Ende August reif sein werden und bin entspannt im Hinblick auf den Urlaub, da die Bewässerung nun gut funktioniert. Ich bin nun von Zitronensäure auf Phosphorsäure umgestiegen da ich hoffe den Ph Wert im Wassertank damit länger stabil zu halten (und keinen Biofilm zu bekommen) während meiner Abwesenheit in der das Reservoir drei oder vier Tage halten soll bevor es aufgefüllt wird. The Mendo Frost has officially entered the flowering stage. She didn’t develop quite as much branching as I had hoped for, despite being trained very openly with plenty of space and light for the lower shoots. Nevertheless, she is an extremely healthy and vigorous plant with strong overall growth. At the beginning of the stretch, she is currently around 40 cm tall, and the first flower sites are developing nicely. This week I also heavily defoliated the inner canopy to improve light penetration and airflow and to give the remaining lower shoots a better chance to develop during the stretch. Overall, she has transitioned into flowering in excellent condition. Now it will be interesting to see how much height and structure she gains over the next couple of weeks.

But as we approach the final stretch, it’s a delicate dance of vigilance and care to ensure a clean and bountiful harvest. Here’s a deep dive into this exciting and educational week: The “Flush” in Full Swing The flush continues as we prepare the ladies for their final days. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. Running deep red, far red, and UV at 100%, combined with whites at 50%, is delivering incredible results. The ability to fine-tune the spectrum is a game-changer for resin production and terpene enhancement. Environmental Mastery Here’s a peek into the environmental stats keeping the ladies thriving: • Room Temperature: 26°C • Relative Humidity (RH): 53.2% • VPD: 1.57 kPa • CO2: 1067 ppm • PPFD: 690 µmol/m²/s This balance creates the perfect conditions for fattening buds and maximizing quality in the final weeks. Nutrient & Soil Rundown On the nutrient side, the solution measures: • pH: 6.67 • TDS (Reservoir): 65 ppm • Solution Temp: 18.3°C Soil stats show a TDS of 695 ppm, indicating there’s still some nutrient reserve left in the medium—a perfect transition into the flush phase. It’s all about ensuring the plants have enough to finish strong without compromising flavor or smoothness. A Garden of Many Colors The fades across the room are a sight to behold. Each strain is showcasing its unique hues, with the Green Papaya leading the frost parade, and the Punch Pie taking the crown for bud size. Meanwhile, the Gorilla Melon is dazzling with red reflections, and the Papaya Zoap keeps turning heads with its white crystalline canopy. Marching through flowering! She's doing very well all things considered. Last week I said I broke a few branches? Last picture this week is a close up on the area. She has repaired herself and it's as if nothing has happened! Nature really is miraculous. I honestly expected to loose at least 2 branches!!!

Been so busy lately no had the chance to do catch up but am back and would like some tips if u can not sure if I should chop all the fan leaves off Done a bit of defoliation topped 6 and kept the 2 to the top right without topping but topping seemed to be the one a lot new potential bud sites because of topping and lst when should I go into flower and got new SPIDER FARMER 2000 what dim should I use thanks troops 😎happy growing

Can't believe the purple coming through on one atm 🤑🧐 lol looks mad!! Hopefully a few more purple dominant phenomes on others now. Leaves were looking a bit yellow and pale last week I've been giving some extra cal mag and bud factor X see if she improves. Also found out my PH was off by abit was at 7.47 when I checked. Didn't know that My PH pen was uncalibrated the whole time. Bought some salts and corrected it so we're all good Theyve all had feed of the fresh ph and nutes , hopefully bring some darker colour back to it. Can't stop peeping in the tent 👀

I will just water from here on out. The fade is starting and I am just watering when dry for the last 2 weeks before harvest. 2 of the girls are a week or 2 behind. I might make hash rosin from them and the trim. the 2 good ones are going to the jars for curing and then we will have to wait for winter for the next grow to avoid the heat in the Garage/grow room. keep growing strong.

Slowly reducing temps to help preserve terpenes towards the end. Also just water now with 1-2more dose of microbes. Flourish/Trace/Microben and Organic growth regulator all stop 2-3weeks prior now. The mammoth setup is pretty crazy I have the 720w set at 30% and the canopy lights at 50% with corners of the tent still getting 1300ppfd and the middle 1500-1750. I can tell already just within a few weeks of the canopy light and 1week of the 2bar greenhouse light the quality of produce is incredible. I'd be destorying terpenes trying to get this ppfd from my old spiderfarmer lights so it by far was worth it already to me. Also the cost to run the lights is like 2c per hour extra a day for MASSIVE ppdf + spectrum boost and temps below 25c with ease. I cant wait to do a full run using these lights in the new bigger tent 😇
