Week 5: Transplant Time & Root Power! Oh man, this was one of those weeks! We transplanted all five phenos into bigger pots, and let me tell you, they’re thriving! (Check out the complete video episode for all the details 😉). The girls are looking amazing, all pretty much the same size for now, so I don’t have any favorites yet—but let’s see what the future holds! For photos, I used both my Nikon P900 and Sony A6000, with a bunch of lenses and filters to preserve the true colors—these LEDs are powerful! Current Setup & Conditions This week, they’re still chilling with their sisters in the big tent, but in about a week, they’ll be moving into the TrolMaster ecosystem for even better environmental control. Watering: pH 6.06, EC 0.96 Temperature: A bit cold , but it is what it is. Let’s go deep on roots! The mycorrhizae in the Pro-Mix soil has been working its magic, and I’m still boosting them further with a touch of Aptus Holland Mycor Mix. The root development on this transplant was insane—super white, healthy, and ready to explode with growth. What Are Mycorrhizae? Once mycorrhizae colonize a plant’s roots, they start forming an underground fungal network called the mycelium. This network extends the plant’s reach into the soil, acting as a second root system. Good week of drying the conditions were perfect, because of the cold weather I could keep it at 16 degrees and 60% humidity but unfortunately I didn't have enough air flow on my back plant that was a chunky monkey and the biggest buds got moldy 😪 the rest seems ok it's been just the big heads got hit, lesson learnt

Week 7 did not go too well. I believe I ran into a heat stress issue due to the lights and I also tried some new supplements to add to the res and I ended up with some type of nute lockout.....I think. Anyway, today starts week 3 of flowering and after some more research into nutrient ratios I came up with what you see above. Now I added all of this into 16 gallons of RO water (in the correct sequence) and my EC ended up a little higher than I wanted...1.4. I was looking to stay more around 1.0, but below 1.2 regardless. So I ended up adding 3 more gallons of RO water to the mix and got my numbers looking pretty descent. I was under the assumption ww was on the smaller side of the cannabis world, but this one plant, nicknamed "HULK", seems to be the exception to the rule. Hulk is now 24 inches tall....WITH LST. There is probably another 1.5 feet of branch that is basically horizontal. Well it leaves me in a predicament. I only have 22 inches of light between the 315w CMH and Hulk. The light is as high as it can go in the tent. Well I am going to keep an eye on these girls and hopefully we will see some improvement in growth. Last week pretty much stalled. Well I will check back in and let you know how it's going. Until then just keep it growing. Jan 16 update: wow, the Hulk just keeps going 😳. The runt is still giving me issues. It looks like heat stress but not from the lights. Thinking a vpd issue. Got a thermal temp gun so I am watching for that now. Also got me a wireless camera set up now. So I can check on the girls whenever and wherever I am. Love it.

Como podemos ver ya todas están para el corte o casi, en algunas tendré que seleccionar el pheno, ya que hay alguna que me gusto más que la otra, en general un terpeno muy diferente en cada variedad y también la calidad de la resina, en general mucha resina, pero por ejemplo he podido observas que los tricomas de la Gorilla Melon son más grandes y se oxidan de una manera más lenta, ideal para hacer extracciones, en cambio, la Reinbow Melon .... ese terpeno dulce intenso tanto que es hasta abrumador...me muero de ganas ya de probarla... la Lemon Mandarín es exagerado el olor que tiene a mandarina si cierras los ojos y ueles fuere parece que te vayas a comer una buena mandarina y la Paya Sherbet tiene un olor dulce y muy agradable, pero nada que aún pueda relacionad del todo..... un saludo y buenos humos fam.

Day 58 - As you can see, buds are looking full but still looking like they want to go a bit longer, checking the trichomes frequently and seeing a lot of cloudy.. think i saw the first few ambers too. Any how, we shall keep going. Flush time soon. Day 62 - Looking good, smelling better.. really fruity and sweet. Seems ripe too. Feeds lowered and a little flush. Buds are rock hard, very dense and sticky. Looking forward to harvesting. She will be ready by day 63, but I'll see weather or not ill let her go longer. Stay tuned. Day 64 - trichomes ready, little flush and shes ready for the chop. Beautiful smelling strain and easy to grow. Very hard dense gassy and sweet buds. Once dry and cure, will be back with a little update.

The plants have had a great week. I cleaned up under the canopy and re-arranged the scrog a bit for the last time. The plants are just now beginning to smell. The 1 Maui Clone has gone quite pale green so I added 1/4 cup of Bat guano to the top of the soil and worked it in. Then I added about 4 cups of worm castings on top before watering this week. I also started a FFJ juice mix using a recipe from Cho Korean Natural Farming. I started some Drosera from seed in January and they are now showing there first true leaves and carnivorous trichomes. I added photos of the bright red trichrome stalks. Other than that the plants are flowering well and the HLG light is sure a beast, I am really liking the super even coverage I am getting.

Mandarin XL auto has sprouted, and us looking good. She is getting acclimated to the substrate, and roots should be seeking nutrition soon. She will be in the organo-mineral Gen1:11 nutrition. 07/16/2020 Top bud is becoming blunt, or flattened on top and buds fattening up,I believe that this is the last week for this girl but I guess I'll see. She is not drinking nearly as much as last week (2+ liters) only 1.3 liters drank up till today. Starting water only when pot lightens up some, waiting on the fade.

Week 8, Day 56, Day 12 of Flower. Well the girls are doing nicely again, however PK#2 is still smaller than PK#1. PK1 is 18” tall and PK2 is only 14” tall. Seeds came from same package, but PK2 sprouted 8 hours later. Both are receiving the same nutes. I did notice this morning that she did start to stretch since seeing her last night. All in all things are going well. I did notice a few fan leaves with a slight purpling so I will try adding a little more CaliMagic on the next feed. They are currently receiving 200ppm. Of CaliMagic. The last feeding was 660ppm total nutes, but 950ppm 1.9EC in the run-off so I gave them some Phed water to help clear some of the nutes building up in the media on the next feed which went down to 650ppm 1.3EC in the run-off. Thinking about doing a flush with some Florakleen, or should I wait until flush time at week 7 and 8 of flower when Trichomes are hopefully milky. All comments and suggestions welcome.
