Last week I thought that the 50cm distance between the light and the top of the canopy was ok. But this week, I get some signs of light burns on every plants and I decided to put it back to 60cm. This distance seems to work best for this grow. I think the Cashew Kush shows some slight signs of nitrogen deficiency so I added a bit of BioGrow (1ml/l) and hope it will help. For more info about the "Soil people", see week 9. As part of the "Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge" contest, I received a free Tent-X controller, a MBS-TH Humidity/temperature/light sensor and a LMA-14 light control adapter. I requested them on sunday and get them on thursday so it was super fast, thank you @TrolMaster_Europe ! 👌 ------------------------------- Controller + MBS-TH review ------------------------------- The Tent-X controller combined with the MBS-TH sensor provides information about temperature and humidity. The light detector of this sensor is used to trigger the day/night mode of the Tent-X controller but doesn't measure light intensity (you need another sensor for that). I've tried to connect the controller to the phone app and it seemed to work. I will not use this function because it requires to connect the controller to the internet with an Ethernet cable and I don't have an Ethernet plug in my grow room. I set-up a rudimentary fixation system to hang the controller and the sensor since I'm not growing in a tent, but it works haha. Now, I can make my measurement in the center of the canopy instead of making them just above the ground. ---------------------------------------- LMA-14 light control adapter review ---------------------------------------- This adapter allows you to control your light via a RJ45 cable. I'm not using it because my light and my fan are synchronized and my fan cannot be controled by a RJ45 cable. I don't want to have a timer for the fan and a controller for the light. I just use the timer for both. However, Trolmaster sells some plug sockets that can be controled by RJ45 cable so you can control everything with your Tent-X controller.

Switched one generic t8 8w led for a t8 9w grow led. Plants have responded well to the change. Will give the plants a few more days before moving them down to the 2nd grow chamber with double the lights. Will leave the small ones in the current chamber until they recover and catch up. USB Desktop fan seems to be too directional. WIll adjust so that the airflow is a bit more uniform.

There are good genetics and there are genetic masterpieces. The Great Jefa is part of the second case. Truly exceptional. It is a plant that has vegetated in a graceful and regular manner, the 16 bud topping seems tailor-made for it, all 16 have been successful, I would say excellent. All this happened in a short time, I don't know if it's the topping but it was practically ready in 6-7 weeks I took it to 8 because it was still very colored with leaves but it was ready for all the rest of the signs. Milky trichomes and lots of amber ones this time I don't think anyone can accuse me of being early. Also because the advance sometimes saves lives from mold. In this regard, I would like to give the advice NOT TO DO TOO MUCH FLUSH, if the plant is already very mature, washing the roots would risk spoiling the tops. So my advice is to flush at the very first red hairs, when the flower starts to take the color away with the flush, you clean it up and finish composing the flower. The flowers are really full of resin, a wonderful foliage gave us shades of colors from dark purple to light green and the tips of all the buds and violet. The trichomes and hashish pulled off the gloves are scary. so much. lots and lots of resin. The family is sweet-sour, I know Money Maker very much like us and is embellished with Attitude's Californian genetic Runtz. Greenhouse feeding gave us satisfaction from start to finish with a clever use of Enancher. The plant is still colored because I added some bloom. A few words must be said for Greenhouse Seeds who, with this declaration work in partnership with the strains, is doing a pretty good job of clarity. Many strains are children of an unknown mother and this exposes them to a thousand defects. Strain motherfuckers aren't tough they're problematic. Congratulations to Greenhouse always masterpieces. My favorite from the new line of GHSC masters but the others are arriving... she is almost ready ... she has 141 days in the outdoor ... I think she will cut it at the end of the month when she has 100 days just of flowering ... she has already started 10% amber in her ... with a typical smell of .a indica ... mint ... to earthy wood ... under a little temperature and a little cloudy ... but patience.and there is little left ... if I would cultivate it again it is obvious that if .. She will be very generous in her buds ... and she continues to feed herself organically ... and these are her results ... I am happy

March 21st: I finally got a camera up and running, so i was a little impatient and took pictures last night. I hope the video works! Light intensity made it up to 100% with no negative effects over the week. Second week of no nutrients! It doesn't seem to mind so far. Those nugs are still getting bigger and bigger. They are starting to weigh down the branches and make them bend downward. She still smells like a freshly opened bag of sour skittles. The trichomes creamed up a bit since i checked them last week, so i might only need to wait another week! But, i'm still going to expect it to finish in two to three weeks.

Flowering slowly, likely due to the roots having low PH(4-5).. I flushed her a few weeks back.. I'm done experimenting with nutrients for now; I had better results, with less issues with just using the basics. *Special Nug picture - This Bud-site has a different shape/structure compared to every other nug on this plant.. Never seen this before, on any other strain.

2 phenos are making an amazing sea of colas. Just stacked to the tits. The other stretched its rows of branches. So I supercropped atleast 6 limbs. Response was great to the hst. Structure is really coming along and the trichomes are really coming on now. Bloom is in full swing. I reduced the nitrogen dose again. I also stopped giving them vigorous. Its a pure bloom mix now as these ladies are booming with flowers. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

So, day 14 will start today at 5pm......the bigbud develops quick, the cherries seem to be a bit slower. The "Cripple" shown on one photo develops the slowest. Seems to me, that the cherries had a bit of a problem with light intensity, which surprised me. So I changed the lamp distance and since then they seem to like it better. Never used led light and am surprised about their power. Never had the problem with too much light intensity. So I will most definitely buy another and smaller lamp for the first week or 2. Operating at 25% was still too much for the cherries. Alternatively I could change light distance in this time. Plants are fed 2ml of root juice and biogrow per liter. From week 3 on I will increase it to 3ml. UPDATE DAY 19 Plants receive 3,5ml of biogrow per liter. They drink like alcoholics so now they get about 1litre of pure water and about 400ml of nutrition. I started LST as you can see. Temperature now sucks a bit, but it's hot outside but will change tomorrow fortunately this is no permanent problem. If I am lucky and nothing unplanned happens, like insects..... I will enjoy these probably. Plants also began to show gender and look female so far. In about a weak I will change nutrition for blooming UPDATE DAY 20 As the pervert that I am I watched this video over and over.........😂 well, the one I posted......What I thought I have seen was slight signs of over nutrition. Wouldnt wonder, because first 2 weeks (more or less) they did get just root juuice and I jumped from 2 to 3..5ml of grow....😁Ladies seemed thirsty but right now I guess, the color I thought was a sign of undernutrition is just the "normal" pheno from the cherries. Sry for my english. Day21 So I was able to apply a bit more lst since plants start to stretch a bit. The biggest plant in the back got bend down in order to avoid burning the top or having to adjust the lamp. I get more and more excited to see them develop! I also started taking of lower leaves that are not needed. Plants are super bushy and will have about one more week, before they enter blooming. The stems are pretty strong and sidebranches get bigger and stronger too. So far, everything alright. Plant height is about 25-45cm, estimated, but my eye is quite OK. And 1 or 2 cm more or less don't change the general fact that they are impressing me so far I actually just wanted to share a creative moment I had this morning..... I guess you all know Dean Martins "let it snow"..... Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. Hi liebe Community and Welcome Back! 💚 Im ersten Tetraploid Grow meinerseits, habe wir aktuell richtig starke Entwicklungen zu verzeichnen. Die Pflanze hat von Beginn an einen guten Start hingelegt und sieht richtig Vital und Munter aus 😉 Nach der fünften Wachstumswoche, geht die Pflanze in einen heftigen Wachstumsboost! Sie hat alle anderen Pflanzen überholt in der Höhe wie auch in der Breite. Ich habe die Seitentriebe etwas zur Seite gebogen, worauf sie sehr gut reagiert haben. Dadurch bekommen sie etwas mehr Licht ab. Ab heute kommt die Pflanze in die Blüte! 💚 Ihr Aroma ist sehr grün und frisch, so ein wenig wenn frisch der Rasen gemäht würde, allerdings mit einer leichten typischen Cannanote. Die Bedingungen im Growschrank sind Top! ————— 🌞 Temp: 21 🌚 Temp: 18°C bis 19°C 💨 RH: 58% VPD: 0,75 kPa 💡ppfd: 330 mpm —————

This past week was a major turning point for the girls. After the rough transplant stress and dehydration, they finally bounced back and are now showing strong, vigorous vegetative growth. The transplant into final 20L smart pots together with Big Plant, mycorrhizae and a drainage layer of clay pebbles seems to have kickstarted the root zone really nicely. The girls were topped this week and handled it surprisingly well. New tops already started pushing hard and side branching is waking up fast. Bio Heaven definitely seems to help with recovery and overall vigor — new growth is looking healthier, greener and more explosive every day. The LED is performing beautifully so far. Internodal spacing stays super tight and the plants are stacking very compact and bushy, exactly what I want for the upcoming SCROG run. Structure is looking ideal for training: low profile growth, dense branching, tight node spacing, nice lateral expansion starting. Next phase now is: spreading the branches outward, starting LST, opening up the center, preparing for the screen. Currently watering every 3–4 days with around 2L of nutrient solution per pot. The smart pots are drying back nicely and the medium still feels airy and healthy. Lower yellowing leaves are still showing some leftover damage from the earlier stress period, but the important thing is that all fresh growth looks healthy and active now, so I’m not worried about it anymore.

Method 📊📊📊 She trained incredibly well and recovered faster from topping than the NL did to a fim. This grow was a slightly different take on a traditional manifold leaving the top growth tips from each 2nd node (first topping) in place. This gave us 10 main colas as opposed to eight and we also left in a few extra shoots which proved to yield just that little bit extra.😉. If we had the space we would’ve stuck with 8 monster colas. Instead, we tried to squeeze usable bud out of every square inch. Maintenance was a bit of a bitch - had to defo numerous times to keep the light penetration optimal. Which brings us to the grow light - I won’t say it was ineffective cause that’s just not true. But, if this one had gotten much bigger we’d have seen some serious diminishing returns in bud quality. The tops and middles of each 10-12” cola were dense and chunky but the lower buds on the outer branches were like giant fluffy larf pillows. Thankfully there weren’t too many of these and I might’ve been able to solve this issue with some yo-yo’s if I wasn’t so damn lazy and “😜” when work’n on the garden. So, grow light review now that we’re through a few cycles - vipar spectra gets a 6/10 from me. It will grow solid, quality bud but certainly has its limitations. Their manual says it’s 450w should cover a space roughly twice the size of mine. I disagree and actual wattage draw is more like 200w. I’m gonna try to stick to photoperiod SCROGs with it in the future. Only real way to max out it’s effectiveness. Big plus - it’s about perfect for this particular space: 1:. Medium 🎛️🎛️🎛️🎛️ Coco is now the go-to medium in lieu of soil when we grow indoors. I can’t specifically say that the growth time is sped up compared to soil because I’m always growing something different but - she did recover very quickly from her toppings and the drainage is wayyyyy better. The fact that it’s nute neutral allows us to dictate exactly what the plant receives at all times. IMO - more manageable and precise than soil. Include a regular diet of calmag and ur good to grow.: 1: Yield🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴 Oh man what a gong show😎. The book on this one says that you’ll end up having to add support for her as bud weight becomes a serious issue in late flower. RQS is absolutely right, I had three smaller colas on the perimeter stretch for the last corner of light and they just got weighed down by the bud and pretty much fell over😂. We like this. Now the numbers - i did the math twice (and while sober just to make sure😉), you don’t wanna do it, it sucked, so you’ll just have to trust me: 1:. Total dried yield for the kush alone: 3.32oz. This crushes the single plant yield for any strain grown in this cabinet to date by well over an 1oz. : 1:😎. Total harvest yield across both plants: 4.99oz. This also crushes the record yield per cycle in the cabinet by a full ounce!: 1:😎👌💪🤩. The stats say an avg. of 500-550g/m2. Based on the rough size of my cabinet the avg. should be 131.25g/0.25m2.... our actual harvest across both strains - 140.6/0.28m2. That’s pretty damn good and spot on with the specs: 1:.😎 Props👊👊👊👊👊 A great many thanks to everyone who stopped in and cared to take some interest in this cycle. Inicio de floración , fotoperiodo 12/12h. bajo 300W, ATS Pro 2,7 µmol/J. Por lo que hace al cultivo. Una segunda aplicación foliar con Spider boom 3ml/l para prevenir posibles plagas de araña roja. Todo y habiendo unas temperaturas en el exterior de 0ºC en el interior se está bastante bién. 😋 Así de primeras diria que esta luminaria me parece de lo mejorcito que he tenido nunca, reparte la luz como ninguna otra penetrando mucho mejor. Otra es la comodidad para bajar o subir la potencia y la posibilidad de añadirle un controlador que monitorea la temperatura de la sala de cultivo, el fotoperiodo y la intensidad, así como la atenuación de potencia. Esta semana cansado de ir bajando o subiendo la potencia del extractor durante todo el año he decidido probar un SMSCom Smart Controller. De esta manera espero no sufrir tanto por las subidas ni por las bajadas de temperatura. Muchas veces son las que por A o por B descuido el interior y casulamente son los dias que el tiempo cambia repentinamente. Un primer foliar con Delta9 para que se pongan fuertes para lo que les viene.
