Entering the second week of growing for the Orange Diesel, I am finally relaxing a bit. It was so close to death with it's germination issue, but the "seed surgery" saved it and it seems to be recovering. It's a bit small compared to the Blue Dream'Matic growing under the same conditions, but it's leaves are healthy and it's putting out new growth. It's going to get it's nutrients dialed up just a little, and the lights are being lowered slowly, to dial in it's optimal grow conditions. Unless she explodes with growth I am going to avoid any topping later in the grow and focus instead on some gentle LST (if needed). I am including a timelapse that mainly covers my Blue Dream'Matic, but shows some of the growth of the 🍊 in the foreground. Still looking pretty good so far. After harvesting Girl Scout Cookies Auto, Yuhbary Auto is sharing a light with my two other, much younger plants. The light is a lot closer to Yuhbary Auto than before, which leads to discoloration of some fan leaves, but as far as I understand it, that's to be expected due to suddenly increased photosynthesis. A lot more Trichomes are getting milky, but so far, no amber ones in sight. UPDATE: That was that - Yuhbary Auto suddenly developed amber trichomes and the lower fan leaves started to turn yellow. A lovely grow, a lovely plant and a very nice outlook on what's to come in her next phase.

Week 3 of flower. Plants look great. Trying a few more tops this run, with some upper deleafing. Ive also been running Hydro Bio and ive decided to move the lights down to anout 2ft. Im running 800W of KingBrite LEDs and im hoping for a nice outcome after the upset with the test of bleach for sterilization vs H202. This run the Hydro Bio has microorganisms, so no sterilization needed. PH seems to be more stable and root zones of the vegging plants seem much more white and more of them. Stay tuned!

May 5, 2025 Harvest Summary Most plants have been successfully harvested as of today's date. Two specimens remain and are scheduled for harvest later this week, allowing for optimal maturation. Growing Method This cultivation cycle utilized a Biotabs "just add water" organic feeding strategy in conjunction with an Autopot XXL system. This combination proved highly efficient, significantly reducing maintenance time while ensuring consistent nutrition throughout the entire growth cycle. Growing Environment Lighting: Sanlight EVO 5-150 LED lights Environmental Control: Growcontrol Growbase Pro system Medium: TERRA PRETA MJ-Mix Irrigation: Autopot XXL with Flexi Tank and Airdomes Results The harvest yielded exceptional results across multiple phenotypes of the same genetic lineage: Smaller Plants: Each produced over 100g of dried material Larger Plants: Estimated yield of at least 200g per plant (final weight pending completion of drying process) Quality Indicators: All phenotypes exhibited excellent terpene profiles with pronounced aromas and high resin production (noticeably sticky flowers) Observations The current generation of autoflowering genetics demonstrated remarkable growth characteristics, comparable to traditional photoperiod varieties but with the advantage of automatic flowering transition. Plant size exceeded initial expectations, resulting in specimens larger than anticipated. Recommendations for Future Cycles Early training techniques are recommended for similar genetics to better manage plant architecture and potentially increase yields. Using water in between nutritions. Made a mistake with one of the plants tied down. I loved the other pot it was tied too and almost ripped the plant in half! Oh man!! At day 22, the girls has cut their water consumption by over 60%. the strech is definitely over. The buds are now swelling. The terpenes are showing themselves.

11/3 Girls are looking great! They have all been fed once of that same mixture since last update, I may up some nutes and add bloom next water. See a little bit of Browning on a leaf of #1 So we will be keeping a close eye on that. Training is going really well, did no topping just straight LST and excited for the results, as you can see in the pics they have a lot of really nice large looking bud sites, just gonna get a few more exposed to light and air then will stop when veg growth seems to be slowing. Cheese #1 seems to still be a bit smaller but they both are getting nice and bushy just like I remember! Check out pics for more update!

At last I ha e seed popping out! Nice full sized seeds 2 hybrids of my own creation with more to come.not sure if the gelato cake pollen was still viable doesn't appear so however I have a monster cropped clone that will serve the purpose.

Set up an evaporative cooler to act as an intake and to cool the temp through evaporation. It I was able to get the average temperature down to an average of 77°. Relative Humidity increased to an average of 55%. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Evaporative Cooler: The evaporative cooler was way bigger than I thought and blowing all the air into the tent would be overkill and would throw off my ventilation given that I only have a 4inch exhaust fan blowing air out. So I had to rig an air duct onto the front to channel some, but not all, of the air coming from the evaporative cooler. I cut a hole in a plastic brownie box and zip tied right angle plate that I had leftover from an ikea furniture. Then I put velcro tape to easily attach and remove the air duct from the cooler for future maintentance and cleaning. I left the room where my tent is closed one day and the humidity went up to 84% which also increased the temperature to 90° but I found that simply leaving the room door open gives the cooler enough air circulation in order to function properly and averaged out at 55% RH and 77° F. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Defoliated some ugly fan leaves that were shading a lot of lower buds.

July 18: recovering from the hail storm 7 days ago. Will start force flowering tonight. In dark garage at 9 pm, a few seconds of 730 nm far red light, and then out of garage at 7 am. That is 10 h of darkness plus 2 h from the far red light at the right time. That is 12 h of darkness in a ‘26 h’ day. Great trick if you have daily access to your flowering plants. After about two weeks I’ll stop with garage but continue with the bloom booster red light every night at Civil Twilight until harvest. Time is from timeanddate.com for my location. Easy trick but you need to do it at the right time each night. and is based on your latitude. July 19: added second layer to scrog net. Watered with compost tea this morning.

15 dias a 12/12h. Iniciamos la semana mostrando claros simptomas de floración. Por lo que hace a la araña roja comentar que no ví ni una en un par de foliolos o hojas que estube mirando pero si ví que habian quedado huevos o larbas pegadas en los nervios del foliolo. Esta semana nueva fumigada y esta vez cambiando de producto. Son ya varios cultivos utilizando lo mismo y es muy posible que a las arañas no les haga ni cosquillas, por lo de la inmunidad. Una pequeña poda de los segundos nudos y para más adelante una última de bajos y chupópteros y así dejarlas ya tranquilas el resto del cultivo. Como puede observarse esta semana han vuelto hacer una buena estirada, entiendo que al ser 9 en tan poco espacio todas miran de competir por cual recibe más luz creciendo como locas. De esta solo puedo esperar que salgan unos bonitos cohetes. A final de semana estarian en 80 ctms las más altas y 65 ctms las más peques.

Hello fellow growers, I am pleased to start this new journey with you. I am also particularly excited since I am going to grow a Mephisto Genetics strain for the very first time, the famous Double Grape. I know you shouldn't believe the hype, as Public Enemy used to say, but it's hard to ignore the dithyrambic reviews when it comes to Mephisto. I sowed the seed directly in the substrate and it was popping out 3 days later. Right now the seedling is under my Mars Hydro TS1000, brightness set at 25%, lights are 80cm away. During my last grows I set it up to the max at all stages of growth, this time I decided to proceed differently and increase gradually.
