🗓️ Veg – Week 4 complete (2 days late 😅) Nothing but good news this week: The 15L pots are already fully rooted after just one week – much faster than expected. The plants are looking healthy and full of energy 🌿 I’m still going very light on the nutrients – currently at about 50% of the Advanced Nutrients schedule. Still, they’re clearly starting to take in more – you can feel the momentum building 🚀 Regular LST has also paid off – the structure is opening up nicely, staying compact and well-exposed to light 🔧🌱 And here’s a major milestone to wrap up veg: I switched to 12/12 right at the beginning of Week 5 – flowering phase is officially on! 🌸

Gorilla girl, me parece una cepa BRU-TAL , ya partiendo de esa base, mi error, creo que e cometido , es poner estos ejemplares en macetas de 5L, que tonto... mínimo recomendado 7L y a ser posible 11L Otro error fue no dejarlas una semana más. pero, escasez. (intentaremos curarla un par de semanas). Cepa con flores muy compactas, hay bastante separación entre nudos pero compensa las flores de verdad. Sabor muy dulzón a mi me recuerda a melón , es un pepino recomendado para amantes de la hierba que llevan tiempo en esto, un colocón muy fuerte, ahora mismo estoy bajo los efectos de esta vaina, aseguro que con cada frase, leo varias veces y detenidamente por que válgame.

I also gave her pot a 1/4 turn. 9/29- Yesterday I didn't water her, only turned her pot and checked her over... Wow! She's really ramping up the trichomes making her flowers look like their sugar coated! 🤩 I watered her today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water with 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. The molasses will give the microbial colony some additional food as well as supplying micro-nutrients to the plant. I finished out the daily maintenance giving her a check over and turning her pot 1/4 turn to ensure she gets light to every inch of her. 10/1- Yesterday was a 'no water' day as her pot was still fairly heavy to lift. Today she was watered with her usual of 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. Her flowering continues to impress me with her trichome production covering her flowers with 'frost' she's a sight for sore eye's! 😍 She's looking to be on track for a 11-12 week finish and will be an epic cultivar when she's done! 10/3- With Week Seven coming to a close we've got 4-5 weeks to go for this lady finish and she's right on track, looking like a Rock Star! 🤩 I watered heavy yesterday and added 1 tsp/g of Unsulfured Molasses to the 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. Her pot had some weight to it when I checked today so I'll skip watering her until tomorrow. I finished up today by checking her over and giving her pot a turn. ~Thanks for stopping in! White Widow is looking amazing!!! I continue to be impressed by Seedsman strains. Huge bushy leaves, nice green color and she grew a ton this week. Overloading with Recharge is giving me AMAZING results. I'm going to continue giving 1 tbs/gallon, the plants love it (and so do I) 👍

Trichomes are cloudy, i give only rainwater now the past 5 days the runoff stays around 1000ppm so shes done eating for sure, i think this will be her final week. Buds are rockhard and smell amazing

This week we start in to the stretch....

Mother Fucker, Had all this typed out and it fucking closed the tab and would not load last edit. Lets try this again. This has been a big week, got a transplant in and ran into some issues with the feed. Transplanted the plants from their 1L to 2Gal/7.5L pots and gave them some LST to keep em low, all went well in transplant process as seen in the video however the Gaia Green burned my plants and this is odd considering I did not use it full strength as per their directions. They recommend amending medium for pots and baskets at a rate of 3tbsp or 45ml per Gal and I used it at a rate of 60ml in 2Gal, not even close to their 90ml recommendation. Seems weird why I would be experiencing this. I reached out to them and have not heard anything back. kinda disappointed about that. I have two batches of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and when I ran a test side by side on them I found the old one I am currently useing has a higher EC value then the new one I got. I dissolved 1/4 teaspoon into 250ml of water and gave it a good stir, I then let it sit for 5 min and measured its PH and EC, I also tested out the Insect Frass from them as well and it was similar numbers to the new 4-4-4 batch. I got readings of 0.98 for new 4-4-4 and 1.43EC for the old batch of 4-4-4. Seems off. I also tested all the other things I added into the soil and they did not spike EC to any significance. I'm hoping they reach back out to let me know whats up. PH was on point and nothing crazy all aorund 7.1 I also tested the PH and EC of the watering solution to confirm it was the 4-4-4, added in some yucca in their as well as other beneficials that I normally do in soil grows. all within range, PH down with Phspohric Acid and EC under 300 A+ In other good news I finalized the PPFD maps for my tent and lights, I use 2x 240w Mini Sun 2's from Medic Grow, They don't normally use the lights in a twin setup in 2x4 tent so thus they had no light maps for me. The grow shop I go to lent me their Quantum Par light meter and I went to town, I demoed this unit last week in a little video and then went onto say how I messed up the readings and needed to redo it all. Well I had to have the meter returned and was working all week so only had time to get one height measurement in at 30" with all the intensities of the light 40-60-80-100% I had a feeling I was over blasting them with light but the amount I was thinking was not even close to how much more I was giving them. I was running my plants before at 80% and maybe 20" hang height. I was nuking them. It shows my ideals are going to be 40% in veg and 60% in flower with altered lighting schedules to accommodate a proper DLI. As of right now I am giving my plants 42 DLI in veg at 18/6 and that's a bit much for me. I would like to see this number closer to 35. So if I edit my schedule down to 16/8 it will give me a DLI of 37, when I got into bloom if I go 11/13 I will also get a DLI of 37. If I kept it at 12/12 at 60% I would have a DLI of 41, and If i did it like last time 12/12 at 80% I would have a DLI of 55... 41 is not the worst but I think it might be to much. we will see based on how the plants are growing. I used a free heatmap web page tool to make the PPFD maps, its not perfect but it works out well for me. I did all the intensities on their own image and also did one main image with all the intensities that shows the strength of 100% vs 40-60-80% in colour. The one light on the right side does not seem to be as strong as the one on the left, Or it could be some weird things with my tent, When I looked at the numbers with the door open they did not fluctuate as much. so who knows, I tested them with the door closed and extractor fan on as that's what the plants will be getting when in the tent, I centred the light as best I could and levelled it out with a bubble leveller. It was funny seeing how the PPF readout numbers changed as the tent sucked in around the sides, It is a good thing I have the mid support bar to prevent it from doing that to much. Once I mapped out all my readings in PPF I then calculated its average and PPFD using the grow space dimensions of 2x4, applied the convention and got my average PPFD :) The pepper are also doing well. I don't think I noticed a difference between soaking the seeds with some peroxide 1% vs plan water. Won't do that again does not seem to help anything. All but one variety as popped, the naga morich, has not been germinated, I was reading online that dehydrated seeds can have as low as 5% germination rate, With this in mind I took a lot of seeds from my older naga morich peppers in the pantry and placed them in a damp paper towel. I have a feeling given their age and treatment previously they will not pop, but that's ok if they don't, I have a large assortment of pepper for this season and they are already well on their way to giving me a good crop. Have not noticed any other fungus gnats in a bit. Happy about that, don't know where they went, unless it was just a few and they died before breeding. Season 2 is officially underway and so excited for this grow. Growing 4 plants, but space is a lil limited. Growing in an 80x80cm so using small pots. 2x 8l and then 1x 5l and 1x 4.7l (if you wanna be exact lol). This time I decided to experiment a bit. I'm testing 2 different soils, both in 8l pots, both Purple Punch Auto by Fastbuds, both in airpots. Their names are Lily and Robin. Also testing fabric bags against airpots. Both in same soil, both in 5l pots, both Wild Dwarf Auto by Bulk Seed Bank (that was the plan but now it's 1 WD and another Purple Punch). Their names are Jess and Cece. For this one, Lily, had the seed in water for about 24 hours then in paper towel. Then, into gorilla mix.

This is flushing week. It’s a long debated topic whether to flush organic or not, but according to Biobizz this is the way to go. Some amber trics have appeared already, so next week she will reach choppington town. It’s crazy to think about this is just half of the battle, the drying and curing must be done right too. I have high hopes for this strain and can’t wait to try the first sample!

Week 8 flower : still flushing with ph water everyday the run off ec is 0.5 gonna keep flushing for another week . Finishing on 9 weeks The blue cheese I have 2 different phenos . 1 is very blue and weird shaped leaves and is nearly ready gonna give it till end of the week and do 48hrs on dark before harvest The other blue cheese is more green but has grown a lot bigger the colas are amazing it definitely needs another 7-10 days . Sunset sherbet this will be flushed for a few more days and left in dark for 48 hrs This is the first time using led lights and all the bad stuff I heard about mars hydro . I have to say I’m very impressed with what it’s done .

Day 56 from seed( 16 in flower): Merry Christmas Groomies , Sponsors and Grow Diaries Crew. Another amazing week of growing and developing has given me some of the most beautiful bud colours I have seen in a long time. Their singular structure on us is amazing and they look very psychedelic!!!. The smell coming off them at a touch is a very potent varnish and sweetness. They leave my hands tacky too now. Seeing their quick bud growth against my usual photoperiods is a shock too. I forgot how young they were and had my worries over their close finish time and current size. This was very short lived as from talking to other auto guys , it seems that Autos usually flower for as long as they are in veg period for before their actual flowering buds start , i.e 4 weeks veg-4 weeks flowering. These girls showed real flowers at day 38 from seed which would mean Day 76 for the finish potentially.That means another 20 days to get fatter and more frosty for a Jan 20, 8-9th finish. I expect from seed is a good start point but can add a week if seeds take their time to wake up ect.. I know it isnt an exact science so let's see. #1 This girl is stunning up close. she is covered with buds and her Los has been feeding her plenty with just water added. The pot is mulching all her old leaves too now so she will be helping feed the next plant in this pot ( fast buds fast flowering tester!!). She is very bushy but I love her look and am resisting the urge to defoliate her at the moment. I will do some at flowering day 21. #2 Is doing well next to her huge sister and certainly looks as many sites too. The coco and Mc are brilliant. her vibrant green will be pulling all that light in and working wonders towards her bud building too. # Is an oddity and looks like a cuckoo baby in a nest of blackbirds!!! She had none of the colours or psychedelic look at all but some of the smell . She is a good size and was a pale girl initially so I didnt train her much.
