First off, I hope all who visit this journal watch the timelapse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The GSC is in the foreground. Comparing the beginning to the end shows just how dramatically my plant has grown in the past week. This plant now has a photo-period neighbor! I have changed the light schedule back to 18-6 to accommodate. Her chronicles will be in a separate journal. Towards the end of week two, I noticed the leaves were forming brown spots that I took as a sign of calcium deficiency. To treat this, I used a gallon of (hard) tap water, adding calcium to the reservoir. Luckily this seems to have done the trick! The spots have been absent on all subsequent leaf growth. Sometime in the middle of this week, I had to re balance the pH from ~7 to ~6. Perhaps this pH fluctuation came from the tap water transfusion. In an effort to raise the RH in the tent, I've repetitively spilled a small amount of water on the floor of the tent. Doing this keeps the RH around 45-50%. I've made some other small changes to my grow setup as shown in the pictures. Prior to this week, I'd thought my plant was hopelessly behind developmentally compared to other user's because I'd compare their week two plants to mine. Luckily, this week has seen some growth! It's crazy how fast they shoot off after their first three-fingered leaves form. The first "real" set of leaves to grow in (not three-fingered yet), seemed to take forever to grow into their full size while not much else (besides the roots) seemed to grow. This week's three-pointed leaves have practically fully formed already. Alongside them, are the beginnings of yet more leaves! I'm not certain what I will do this next week. I may start LSTing this plant, though I'm not sure when exactly I should do this. My original plan for my plants was to implement a screen of green using a trellis. I have sense realized this may not be the best approach while using a DWC, because water changed would be made much more difficult. Have any of you DWC growers experiment with this? Is it worthwhile? I will likely not replace the water for another week, though that's not set in stone. I appreciate any advise regarding the training techniques I mentioned, water switch outs and anything else that may be relevant to this grow. I will more than likely ask a few designated questions. I know she yielded less than optimally, but at least she made up for it with a really unique effect. Got like 40 more seeds of this so I'm likely going to do some pheno-hunting come spring with how well she performed. Love the taste and the look of the plant. Really wish I had knowledge of the breeder so I could recommend it. But that's the risk you take with bag seed. Not giving her 10/10 because she stunted for quite a while when I got her started in soil. So she may not respond well with higher stress root-conditions.

Week 6 and they are still in the vegetation phase. Still growing it under 1 95w cfl 6500k. I really learned that leaving your plant in a small pot for too long can really stunt growth and slows down the whole process... It's growing pretty fast right now and every day i see how the plant is getting bigger. Did some LST to give new branches more light. Leave any tips :)

hi growmies, this one is really bulking hard. taking over most of the box. she doesn't smell like a typical afghan anymore, very creamy. still amazing what you can do to these plants and they still recover from it. The buds on this one seemed very fluffy at the beginning, however this has starting to change know and they start swelling very nicely.

Hello. This is the end of week 6 and the beginning of week 7 of flowering. The plants are looking good. Most of them are showing their sativa side. But plant #3 is looking more like a hybrid. I can see the long THC gland stocks of a sativa but it's growing more bulky than a sativa. Plant #4 is growing big and tall, showing it's sativa side. Plant #5 is the 2nd best in bud size but smells better than plant #3. I see the neighbors big oak tree is starting to shade the greenhouse after 2 pm. It was 29* c as I was taking these pictures in there today. Yes... Plant #1 got a big drink right after I finished taking these pictures. Been busy doing, before winter chores, like, cleaning the chimney and washing the house cleaning up the yard. Putting away stuff.. getting things covered, Cleaning up the veggie garden. Been busy and missed last weeks report. Big year for acorns... just raining out of the oak trees. I can hear big bangs in my neighbors yards too, as the dropping acorns hit things. My driveway is sloped to the street... There must be 200 acorns along the street gutter as they roll down driveway. OK. Take care. Chuck.

16/03/26 - 22/03/26: not much to do right now other than filling up the tanks and observing the trichomes. See pictures :) The two blueberries are close to harvest, Chicken n' Wafflez and Vanilla Créme Pie still have a couple weeks ahead of them. Thanks for checking in and see you next week!

Week 3 has been a breeze. Retied the plant to spread it out alot. I am going to veg for 6-8 more weeks and transplant into a 25 gallon pot to give the roots some room for flower.

She’s showing her vigor now exploding all these flowers! both plants are showing no bad signs or stress so I’m happy they’re happy! I’ll plan to Defoliate again in 4 weeks then closer to harvest! Wish me luck gromies!

Buds are starting to swell I had to back way off the Kool bloom pretty sure I stunted them a little also instead of feeding every other watering I cut the bloom nutes in half and feed every watering plants are responding well

Day 48 Gelato - day 48 - Defoliation was done. The broken branch healed and sprouted new branches. She cannot boast much about his height. But it is very beautiful, I hope we will grow 50 centimeters in flowering 👌 Day 44 Peyote - The growth process continues unabated. I am waiting for the desired size. 8 days after flowering it didn't grow as much as I thought it would, so we went back to the growing season. 👽 Day 49 Peyote - I decided not to cut the leaves anymore after much defoliation. It easily tolerates strong stress easy to grow.

Hi everyone :-) This week a lot of nice things happened in the flower tent :-) Everyone looks super nice, and is growing stronger and more beautiful week by week 😍👌. The blue cheese smells like a dream ;-) As usual from this variety 👍. The kosher tangie is also very, very tasty 👏🏻. Both got Pk 13/14 this week for the last time :-) Everyone else is developing very well 👍, That will be the last diary with several strains together :-) In future everyone will come individually 👌. Day one of flower for the London Pound Cake and Purple Shah. I moved the Blueberry Muffin into another veg tent for a week or two. They’re early finishers so when I move them back everything should harvest around a similar timeline. Fed them all with an Organic Alf Alfa seed sprout fermentation. The triacantanol in the Alf Alfa makes these things go crazy if you don’t overdo it. Add some coconut water and aloe and youve got yourself organic plant steroids. The growth rate will cause you to have an increased need for ca mg and nutrients which in organics may not be readily available. Top dress or feed ahead of the curve.

4/7/24 day 14, added about a half inch of worm castings. Should’ve done it in the beginning. Better late than never? 😂🌱 4/8 so the same node that she grew leaves with only two fingers, are now only growing on one side, rather than both, so I cut the Lowest leaves and branches to of. I know you’re not supppsed to stress autos but I’ve done it before and I usually top them but thought I’d go without this time around. 4/14 end of week 3 she’s still short. Getting thicker. Looking happy the whole time. Seeing pistils at nodes. Possibly just showing sex

When attempting to bend the main cola on the Gorilla with plastic clips (never again), it snapped and hung on just the tiniest thread, so I involuntarily had to remove it completely, thus topping it, which I never intended. The plant does not seem to mind at all and the side branches started lifting up as if trying to take over and compensate. So far, Northern Light is the biggest mystery for me - the leaves look strange and it has the slowest growth of all. Even the Purolematic, which started last and was the smallest turned out to grow bigger. I also added 2 fans to help circulate the air inside.
