👑 Godfather OG – Pheno B Week 5 | A Gentle Giant Finds Her Rhythm Welcome back to another update from the 8×8 Adventure! One of my favourite aspects of this project is documenting every phenotype individually. Although every plant is receiving the same care, the same environment, and the same attention, each one responds in her own unique way. Godfather OG Pheno B is a perfect example of that. Standing proudly among the tallest plants in the room, she’s developing into a vigorous, elegant lady with excellent structure, healthy growth, and an increasingly impressive canopy. She may share the same name as her sister… But she’s writing a completely different story. ⸻ 🌱 The Journey So Far If you’re joining this diary for the first time, welcome! This entire project is being grown using the 12/12 From Seed technique. Instead of allowing a long vegetative period before switching to flower, every plant has remained under a constant cycle of 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness from the very beginning. This allows every phenotype to express its own natural rhythm. No forcing. No extended veg. Just letting genetics decide when they’re ready to bloom. That has become one of the most educational parts of this entire grow. Watching siblings respond differently under identical conditions never gets old. ⸻ 🌸 Flowering Has Officially Begun For me, this marks Week One of Flower. She’s now fully entering that exciting transition where vegetative growth slowly gives way to reproductive growth. Fresh white pistils are appearing across the tops and developing branches. Those tiny white hairs are the first signs of the flowers to come. During the next several weeks they’ll multiply rapidly as each growth tip transforms into a future cola. Every morning brings another little surprise. It’s one of those stages where you can almost watch the plant changing before your eyes. ⸻ 🌿 A Beautiful Structure Already reaching approximately 70 cm, Godfather OG Pheno B is another one of the largest ladies inside the grow room. She has developed a wonderfully open structure with strong vertical growth and healthy lateral branching. Throughout vegetative growth I’ve relied mainly on gentle Low Stress Training, carefully bending leaves and branches to improve light penetration while allowing the plant to maintain her natural architecture. Rather than forcing the plant into shape… I’ve simply guided her. Now those early adjustments are beginning to pay off as multiple flowering sites receive excellent light exposure. Every branch is beginning to compete for the spotlight. ⸻ 💧 Hand Watering — Precision Through Observation Unlike her sister, this phenotype is being hand-watered, allowing me to monitor her individually at every irrigation. Hand watering offers a different type of control. Each watering becomes an opportunity to inspect the plant closely, evaluate her response, monitor runoff, and make small adjustments whenever needed. It’s a slower approach than automated irrigation, but it creates a very personal connection with each plant. As flowering begins, the feeding program has also transitioned to support this new phase of growth. Bloom nutrients are gradually taking the lead while maintaining enough nitrogen to fuel the final stretch before the plant fully commits her energy to flower production. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Continues to Deliver The grow room continues providing an exceptionally stable environment. Current conditions include: • Day temperature: 31.1°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 72% • Nutrient solution: 24.2°C • Root zone: 21°C • CO₂ concentration: 639 ppm Everything remains remarkably consistent, allowing the plants to focus entirely on healthy growth. As flowering progresses and the buds begin to develop greater density, humidity will gradually be reduced to create the ideal environment for the weeks ahead. Consistency remains one of the most important nutrients we can provide. ⸻ 📷 This Week’s Gallery This week’s photographs capture her from every angle. Studio portraits showcase her elegant structure and increasing height. Close-up images reveal the first pistils emerging across multiple flowering sites. Bird’s-eye views highlight how evenly the canopy is developing after weeks of gentle training. I’ve also included updates from inside the room together with environmental controller readings so everyone following this project can continue seeing not only the plants themselves, but also the conditions helping them thrive. Documenting the entire journey has become almost as rewarding as growing the plants themselves. ⸻ 🔮 Looking Ahead The coming week should bring another noticeable burst of development. I expect the flowering sites to expand quickly as more pistils appear and the early bud clusters begin taking shape. Stretch may continue for a little longer before gradually slowing down, allowing the plant to redirect more energy into flower production. Training will remain minimal from this point onward, with only gentle adjustments where needed to maintain airflow and light penetration. She’s healthy. She’s vigorous. And I have a feeling she’s only beginning to reveal what she’s capable of. ⸻ 💚 Thank You Thank you so much for following another chapter of this 8×8 Adventure. Every diary tells a different story, and sharing these journeys with this amazing community makes the entire experience even more rewarding. A huge thank you to: 💚 GrowDiaries for providing an incredible platform where growers from around the world can learn, share and inspire one another. Zamnesia for the fantastic genetics making this phenotype hunt possible. 🌱 Plagron for providing the nutrients supporting these ladies every step of the journey. 💡 Future of Grow LED for delivering the light powering this entire project. 🌿 TrolMaster for helping maintain a stable, carefully controlled environment from day one. And finally… Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read these updates, leave comments, ask questions, share knowledge, or simply follow along. Your encouragement makes documenting every single phenotype worthwhile. I’ll see you all next week as Godfather OG Pheno B continues her journey deeper into flowering. Growers Love and the adventure is only just beginning. 🌱👑💚

A-Day 95, B&C-Day 91🌱😎💨 A-was watching her closely this week. All tricomes were cloudy, with about 10% amber by Saturday. She is getting the chop! B-she has stacked some weight on this week! Her ring of buds around the pot have thickened up quite a bit. Her tricomes are mostly cloudy, some amber. She has some nice purples, and the leaves have just started to fade like A did. Clear signs she is nearing her short auto lifespan🤗 C-there are still some clear tricomes, maybe 10-15%, but most are cloudy, and about 5% are amber coloured, or on their way. I have been drastically reducing the nutrients, not entirely but close. Bringing it down to just PH’d water. I will be harvesting A, and then giving B and C a little more time. I have been setting up my new tent this past week, made some orders on Valentine’s Day with Spider Farmer! Got a great deal on an upgraded version of the SF4000, and 6”in-line/digital humidity and temperature controlled fan. Fan is here but light is still on the way 😢

Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

DAY 1 Water: p1 4x300 p2 3x300 Visual: All good, nice and frosty, Swelling had truly begun. Some tip burn. (1 mm spread around on random leaves) Also tops have yellowish/lime spots, might be rapid growth OR light bleach. Comment: Will monitor the burn. I guess I’m on the edge of EC. As for the light bleach I kept same lamp intensity and raised it 5 cm. That decreased ppfd by around 100. Keeping as is and monitor. DAY 2 Water 4x500 3x300 Visual: Looks good. No sign of trouble so far. DAY 3 Water 4x500 3x300 Visual: Looks good, Discovered a deadzone in opposite corner of lower fan. Pulled things from each other, created airflow. Comment: Begun flower bomb today. Pushed Ec from 2.0 to 2.3 Will Keep monitoring 👀 DAY 4 Water 4x500 3x300 Visual: Nice and frosty. - or at least there is some 😅 Comment: A/C arrived today! Pretty much the key to mastering VPD! 🌱💚⭐️ DAY 5 Water 4x500 3x300 Visual: All good, a bit of darkening+clawing begun. Comment: Increased Bloom to 8 ml/l Will reduce grow to 1,5 tomorrow and go back to 7 ml/l Bloom. If it straightens. Up Bloom to 8 ml/l Keeping Flower bomb 1 ml/l from now through week 7 of flower. EC today was around 2.5 DAY 6 Water 4x500 3x300 Visual: Burn and clawing has not worsened. Comment: New EC today is 2.2

Just letting them grow out now i want them to continue getting taller and i will continue LST-ing throughout . They will veg for probably 4 more weeks before i flip to flower in the SCROG/Flower Tent where they will receive direct sunlight for 12/12 ALSO I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE WITH THE LABELLING i actually have 3 Grandaddy Purple clones, 2 Pineapple Express pheno #1 clones and only 1 Northern Lights clone as the plants grew i noticed the difference and similarities in characteristics

📆 Week 6, 26 May - 1 June 2024 26-31 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 1 Jun - Did a light defoliation of plant (see picture) to allow light to reach all bud sites. 📑 This is her first week of true flower and she is still stretching some. Her size has doubled and as is now into more intense lighting, the canopy coverage reads at 40 DLI. It looks like the light power will need to only stay at 50% in this small tent. The new light is proving itself well so far, more light without added heat, no complaints - except for the dimmer switch. A true consumer marketing mistake by ViparSpectra. 🍶 28 May nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 28 May feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 2.6 at 70 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 50%, DLI 40 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. Thanks for the look, read and stopping by.

Did some defoliation this week, not much but enough to create some airflow and unblock a few bud sites. Readjusted my DIY “floating” to take up some of the stretch that had gotten out of control, ❤️ that I can do that! The frost is real for this strain OMG, week 3 and it’s already as frosty as some of the Autoflower’s I have grown. Temps have been climbing here and there, we’re getting a lot of dry heat so that’s the plus at least, not a lot of humidity at the moment. I’m really wishing I had taken clones from these girls because I’m sure they are going to be insane if they look this good at week 3. 🇨🇦👊❤️

Absolutely High quality strain! This strain is pure gold, strong smell very freaking stinky, you can't believe how much this little monster stinks, the colas are huge man, very hard dense like authentic Rocks, Brutal resin production very stinky, I can see her parentales of Zkitzy Gorilla because of the crazy amounts of glue she has produced, fat colas for real, I'm in love with this strain, I could grow her forever! I know she's gonna make me sleep amazing at night, brutal indica híbrid. Enjoy guys! ✌️💚 🦍👽

Hi everyone thanks for stopping by 🙌🏻 So this is week 8 of vegetive stage almost complete 👌🏻 - I’ve had some hesitation holding of on flowering for all a good few reasons - Clones ✔️ starting to get most of them up to a decent ppm as I’ve had few N defs/calmag difficulties all in check now ✅ We’ll be setting up the second 2.4 grow tent, for the clones & others to veg for a week or so then get them into some 20litre 👞 Start flowering them the week after give or take 💪🏻 for this tent im going to add in a 12litre or 20litre dehumidifier to keep RH in check.

91Grapes day 72. Should have been harvested by now, she was a 65 day +/- from sprout and has two more weeks left, fuc . I think something is wrong with a nutrient imbalance as her leaves continue to lose their vibrant green color. Indications of a mag. Deficiency was evident so added epsom salts 1 tsp per gallon. Problem persisted so went with some bloom nutrients with a little nitrogen if that doesn’t help it might have to just except it and drive on. Flowers are fatter so if that continues then all is well, after all isn’t it the flowers we are growing anyway.

🌱 Divine Seeds Week Three Veg Report 🌱 Hey, fellow growers! 🌿✨ Welcome back to our weekly update on the Divine Seeds journey. We’re now into Week Three of the vegetative stage, and our plants are loving their new environment. The Moon Rock, Opium, and Big Demon are thriving after the transplant, and we’re excited to share the latest developments. 🌟 Week Three Highlights 🌟 This week, we plugged in the Autopots and turned them on, letting gravity do its magic. From now on, we’ll rely on the Regulator and CaMg-Boost in the reservoir. Our soil is rich in organic matter and nutrients, so we’re testing if just the organic inputs in the soil, plus CaMg and Regulator, can sustain the entire run. Let’s dive into the details: 1. Moon Rock 🚀 • Growth: Vigorous vertical and lateral growth, with lush, broad leaves. • Health: The transplant has boosted its vigor, and the plant looks healthier than ever. • Notes: Moon Rock is showing exceptional adaptability and strength. 2. Opium 🌸 • Growth: Steady and balanced growth with symmetrical leaf development. • Health: Opium is thriving, with no signs of stress or deficiencies. • Notes: This plant continues to flourish with grace and beauty. 3. Big Demon 💪 • Growth: Robust and vigorous, with thick stems and expansive leaf growth. • Health: The transplant has enhanced its already impressive growth. • Notes: Big Demon remains a powerhouse in our garden. 🌟 Nutrient Strategy 🌟 Our feeding regimen this week focuses on: • Regulator (0.15ml/L): Helps reduce stress and improves overall plant health by regulating plant processes and enhancing nutrient uptake. • CaMg-Boost (0.25ml/L): Provides essential calcium and magnesium, preventing deficiencies and supporting strong cell wall development and photosynthesis. Our rich organic soil is packed with biolife and nutrients, so this experiment will test if these organic inputs, combined with CaMg and Regulator, can sustain the plants through their entire growth cycle. 🌟 LED Lighting and Control System 🌟 To support our plants’ growth, we’re using the Lumatek Zeus 465 Compact Pro LED. Here’s why it’s amazing: • Efficiency: Provides high light output with low energy consumption, ensuring optimal growth while being energy-efficient. • Full Spectrum: Delivers a balanced spectrum of light, mimicking natural sunlight to support all stages of plant growth. • Coverage: The compact design ensures even light distribution across the entire canopy, promoting uniform growth. We’re also using the TrolMaster Hydro X controller with its impressive 3-in-1 sensor for temperature, humidity, and light detection. This controller allows us to: • Monitor and Control: Keep precise control over the grow environment, ensuring optimal conditions for our plants. • Automation: Automate various aspects of the grow room, reducing manual work and improving efficiency. • Data Insights: Gain valuable insights into environmental conditions, helping us make informed decisions. 🌟 Key Observations 🌟 • Plant Response: The plants have responded exceptionally well to the transplant and nutrient strategy. • Growth Rate: Significant increase in growth rate, thanks to the balanced environment and nutrient-rich soil. • Health and Vigor: The plants are healthy, with vibrant foliage and strong structures. 🌱 Next Steps 🌱 As we move into Week Four, our focus will be on: • Monitoring the Autopots: Ensuring the system runs smoothly and the plants receive consistent moisture. • Observing Plant Responses: Keeping a close eye on how the plants respond to the nutrient strategy. • Maintaining Optimal Conditions: Using the Lumatek LED and TrolMaster controller to maintain perfect growing conditions. Stay tuned for more updates as our Divine Seeds continue to flourish. We’re excited to see the results of this nutrient strategy and share every milestone with you on this incredible journey! What's up Growmies🤟🏽. Week # 8 is in the books🙌🏾 Hello week #9💪🏾 I went a little overboard on pictures this week, they are so happy and healthy that I got carried away. I know we are supposed to post pictures with the lights off, however it's something about the contrast it gives with the lights on that makes it look sexy to me😁. I have had to tie the stalks of both White LSD plants due to heavy sagging. I'm noticing with this strain the stalks seem to topple over even though the buds are far from fully developed. A trellis net probably would be ideal however I hate them. They are easy to put on but very difficult to take off come harvest. I use garden wire and string them as if they are puppets being controlled by the puppet master🤪. I continue my feeding schedule with the recommended "bloom" concoction using general hydroponics Flora series trio. I give them 1 liter every 3 days. I have them on a 2 to 2 cycle (feed them twice with nutes and then twice with plan water) I keep the p.h. around 6.1 to 6.6. Temps and humidity are in the perfect range I'm enjoying it while it last because spring and summer in VA makes it difficult to keep the humidity in check. All in all everything is going well for me and my ladies. I hope the same for all of you. Until next week my friends Happy Growing 🤟🏽 and may the grow goddesses bless you all with a bountiful harvest 💪🏾

Buds poppin' off nicely. Rigged up some bamboo skewers to spread the canopy. Scent's a wild mix - citrus vibes with that diesel kick. Like fuel-soaked shop rags, no joke. Word is this strain ain't a monster yielder, but don't sleep on it. Sometimes the lowkey ones surprise you. Can't wait to see how she turns out. Gonna be fire.

Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

She could have done a little better, mistreated a little on my part! Irregular feedings.
