I've been busier than hell so I'll post this week and the next at the same time. I was able to get an auto watering system set up which has saved my back and knees and really helped the plants I think. I can't recommend it enough and it wasn't hard to do. Cost was under $100. It took some time to dial it in as far as the best flow for each plant but I've got it going 4x daily with a little hand water supplement every few days, mostly in the areas that the hydro rings don't cover very well, especially the outsides. With the watering under control, the only other work I've been doing in the grow is some defoliation to open up airflow through the plants, some low stress straining to pull the growth tips away from each other, and at the end of the week set up the net. They're working their way to nicely filling out the canopy. Flipping to flower now, so I'm making sure any light leaks are eliminated and covering any equipment lights with tape.

Gorilla Glue has been doing ok even though I was not able to care for her a few days. She is growing good under the G3000 light from Spider Farmer. I am still battling a magnesium deficiency, but from ph and improper care. She should be good to go now. For some reason it's say 9 weeks flower. But it's only 4 weeks flower. Lol. Going well I guess for a 1st grow. Looking nice n frosty at 4 weeks.. Got a alien in the corner lol which knocked me.. Turns out to be a different strain.. 5 n half foot monster.. N still going up.. Have enjoyed this 1st 1 and hope to do more. Has any 1.got n ideas for next. 1 myt try autos. Are they easy to grow? @FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Kl 10.00. The girls grow like crazy, i have to defoliate about 20 leafs a day. This is the last day of week 4. Added a time laps from germ to week 4.

Shes aswell on day 16 Full Bloom and aswell Like the Black Cherry gushers she took aswell nearly 28 days to Go in Bloom Mode ! I can Highly recommend this strain for every Growmie I didnt topped her but Shes driving Like I topped her 10x 😍

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. -This is my second time growing...in my closet lol. I think I’m doing well with only a 65w LED. -Started an experiment on the plant on the right, as I have topped it at the beginning of the week. (First timer) But it looks like it’s doin good & growing. -I still water and feed every 3 days, I have added a humidifier this week as well. This is slow process for my autoflowers and kinda challenging Happy New Year growers! 🙏🏼

Apologies for the lack of update. Personal life things.... Anyway. 3 plants on the road to harvest. Checking trichomes daily and so far clear. Buds are starting to swell. I managed to rectify the defficiency (,a little too late) but better than never ! Yeilds won't be great. Not sure about potency yet however as its my first grow, I'm quite proud to say the least :)

Cazzo è enorme!! 65 cm di diametro e mi occupa più di mezza tenda 1x1... Che dire!! Fantastica la sua crescita. Già esplosiva dopo il topping... Avevo visto che non aveva quasi ricevuto stress e avevo capito sin da subito che è una pianta fortissima, in piena salute e con grandi margini di grandezza/robustezza. Questo fenotipo è chiaramente forte e resistente ha una dominanza sativa forse più della percentuale che scrivono... Sono molto orgoglioso dei miei lavori ed esperimenti con le autofiorenti. Non voglio fare stime di peso ma sicuramente sarà una pianta pesante. Ho contato almeno 40 Budsites 😱😱😱

8/5 (Day 49)- The start of a new week! Last few days have been a little rough and I have unfortunately been unable to keep up the post. Dealing with a back injury so it’s been difficult just to keep up with the feedings. We are looking pretty good though and starting to feel a bit better. The last few days I’ve been slowly but surely trying to get a good defoliation in which I feel was needed very badly. Opened up a lot of place for light and airflow. Messing with the back left plant and OMG my hands got sticky quick! I leaned in for a close smell and all I can think of when I smell is candy, a very sweet smelling candy. It shocked me how sweet and yummy the smell was. All conditions for the environment are stable and kept in check. The girls are taking down 4-5 gallons a day now. Will continue to update this week. Thanks! 8/6 (Day 50)- Just monitored and checked in on everything today. Starting to feel better so not too worried about the change out in the morning. Gonna up the light and ppms a bit tomorrow then monitor very close the next few days. I think they should be good. Everything staying in check. 8/7 (Day 51)- Changed res and new fresh food for the ladies. I increased light power a little as well as PPMs. Going to monitor next few days, then when my back is 100% gonna do one last round of defoliation and trimming as well as put up the trellis net. I know it’s a bit late but the two plants on the right may need it. 8/8 (Day 52) - Just have been monitoring and refilling the res today. They are drinking 4-5 gallons a day. I also did a light light defoliation. I will be going through in the next day or so to do a bit more in depth defoliation to open up for more light and air. These girls grow and recover so fast. 8/9 (Day 53)- The two plants on the right are continuing to stretch quite a bit! The left plants seem to be short bushier plants, also im very sure I could have easily dont something to stunt them and not realize, but they seem to be pretty darn healthy. Did some defoliation, I've honestly been plucking leaves here and there everyday and focusing specifically on a plant when I feel it gets too bushy. They bounce back very quickly so that has been my method along with tying some branches down and bending here and there. 8/10 (Day 54) - Wow that back right girl is really growing. She has really been stretching the last two days. Just monitoring and adding to the res every so often. They are continuing to drink 4-5 gallons a day and all conditions stay in check. I did move one fan to get more airflow through the bottom of the canopy. I feel like I have constantly been moving things around this grow, trying to get a feel of what's best for the plants. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds.
