Week 4 Day 1 all 3 plants were transplanted from smaller cups in to 5 gallon fabric pots yesterday and seem to be taking to their new homes nicely, a little bit of leaf curling but I did give them a pretty intense watering. I picked up a bag of Fox Farms Happy Frog potting mix for them now that they are in 5 gallons, hopefully they will be happy in the better quality soil. If all continues to go well with the transplant I will be topping hopefully in the next couple days. I will be trying to manifold at least one of these plants. Week 4 Day 4 All 3 plants seem to have recovered nicely from their transplanting. I topped all three plants today and attempted two clones from the toppings of KBGB1 and Jack Herer, made a mini greenhouse for them out of a tomato cage and some cellophane Week 4 Day 5 I cleaned up all the undergrowth below the third node in preparation to start manifolding.

V8, supuestamente hoy haría transplante a los maceteros definitivos, pero, hace 3 días que las plantas están presentando hojas débiles y dobladas hacia abajo, en un principio pensé en que podría ser exceso de agua, pero creo que es exceso de nutrientes, básicamente exceso de nitrógeno, ya que las hojas están con un verde muy oscuro y algunas están presentando manchas color café. Así que hoy les hice lavado de raíz, con agua EC 0, hasta que el drenaje fue de cercano a 4 EC. Esperaré unos días a ver si se recuperan, si no, simplemente las eliminaré y empezaré de nuevo, ojalá se recuperen. V9, al final si era exceso de nutrientes/nitrógeno, menos mal que se recuperaron con el lavado de raíces, pensé que morirían, ahora veré como siguen para decidir si hago transplante hoy mismo. V10, se realizó trasplante a macetas definitivas y un riego suave. Las plantas están todavía en recuperación, esperaré unos días más para empezar el LST. V12, riego. V13, se realizó una pequeña defoliación y LST.

*********Week 6 - January 13 to 19, 2020 (Days 36 to 42 from germination) This is going to be a brief update but that’s a good thing 😀 The week went by pretty quick and overall it was great progress. She stood up more and her bud sites set in and are starting to stack.👍 Her colour holding nice and her leaves are still pretty wide work up. Have done some further cleaning on the bottom and removed a couple of leaves that were blocking. Took off a couple of low nodes as well. Introduced Massive this week for bud density. She has a very thick main stem. It bends right away but a “quarter” roughly in diameter. Should help hold all that bud😎👍 Keeping wet and happy is a balance. She was good with 2L last week and by the end of the week now she wants 3L and approaching 1 gal a day. Note for week 2......also noted by breeder.😱🙏 Following the breeder notes I also bumped up the CalMag on one of the feedings a bit to help ensure she doesn’t show issues. Don’t want to use CalMag much longer though because she already gets lots of nitrogen. Not sure how much longer to feed......will go another full week for sure. If she runs a full 9 weeks then if allowing a 2 week flush you only go through week 7....that next week! Therefore, even if I push it I will likely only go another week and a half of feeding😟😓😕 Crap time goes fast!!!!!! Gonna have to ensure she is wet and happy👌 Little more detail: Jan 13/20 - Day 36 - 1L feeding of Sensyzime, Piranha, Voodoo Juice @ 2ml/L. Not pH’d......water been running 6.3. this was in the AM - PM feeding 2L only Dual Fuel @ 1ml/L, Liquid Weight and Rezin @ 1.5ml/L = 575ppm pH 5.8. - trying out the Green Planet line so I introduced Massive this week. - lowered temps in room at night. Down to 65 degrees. - notice couple of brown spots here and there about 3. Noted for now as raising the pH already for flower. Jan 14/20 - Day 37 - Hit her harder today with full strength feed. 5.95pH - Pots were light so 3L feed. - Rhino Skin back in for some more silica. - Didn’t go......holly crap she got big last night😮😮.....but she is filling in her width. Jan 15/20 - Day 38 - 2L feed today. Only giving base nutrients and Sensyzime @ 1ml/L pH 6.1. - drinking more now and she doesn’t give run-off before 2L minimum. - keep an eye on the ppm not getting too high and consider increasing her moisture. Jan 16/20 - Day 39 - 3L full feed today. - want to strip a bunch of her leaves!!!! Keep tucking the leaves but even those stems are stubborn.....good problems👍😝 Jan 17/20 - Day 40 - She is hungry :) - 3L feed full strength. - runoff water: 1100ppm, 5.9pH........medium in good shape:) - Good growth last night....liked the nutes👊 - In the tent with only Green Poison is giving a little extra room and she is loving it. Jan 18/20 - Day 41 - She was not dry in the AM but rather inbetween. - watering with supplementals.......Sensyzime, Rezin, Liquid Weight, VeloKelp, Piranha, Voodoo....and CalMag. - 2L with 240ppm and 6.2pH - nothing in PM.....pots still wet......she is looking for 3L per day still roughly. - They are growing taller......top of tallest nodes falling to sleep sooner at night. - replaced CO2 in tent. - Very happy today and good growth with leave up. - 23” tall and 27” wide......with LST. Jan 19/20 - Day 42 - 3L feeding again today. Full strength again. - runoff: 1125ppm and 6.0pH. - stripped two lower nodes and 1 huge fan leaf. - her buds are getting wider and taller....filling in😎 - she is happy....keep the same and don’t change things......less than two weeks feed left. 01/27/25. Welcome to the start of week 4. I was hoping for a better week with this girl and I got it. Woohoo. She was paling and starting to look a bit sad and droopy. Her first true leaves have yellowed quite a bit, but I upped her food and the rest of her has darkened up, and she’s perky and not sad :). Shes beautiful. 😻😻 I think slightly warmer temperatures have also pleased her as well. She grown quite a bit since last update. She’s now one of the biggest girls. Shes currently at 4 nodes and I will top her when she hits 5. She was just watered yesterday, slowly, until a bit of run off. I’ve upped her food to 2.5 across 3 parts, as well as upped calmag (1) and silica (2). I pulled a dip shit move and left my measuring tape in the flower tent and it’s lights off, so I’ll have to come back tomorrow to update that. I doubt she’s much different than last measurement though honestly. Update: 01/29/25- updated measurement and watered with food. 01/31/25- topped and added picture/video. Soils still a bit moist, anticipate plain watering tomorrow. Thanks for lookin. ✌️

Longer warmer days

This is more like the Barney's strains I'm used to growing. Really good even green growth, all are very similar size except for one that's shown ridiculous fast growth this week and is 30% taller than the rest :) May top that and see how it reacts. So much more vigorous than the GMO. Really impressed with this one.

02/23/2021 Gonna get more clones off bottom growth she seems to clone easily enough. So maybe mid-week topping, after cuttings. She is growing fast!

W11F7 8/17-23 HARVEST 8/19 This past week has been rainy and overcast from a tropical storm with temperatures mostly in the upper 80s. We had Hurricane Erin with wind gusts of 30-40 MPH. While we won’t be directly hit by the storm, we will get the outer bands of heavy winds and rain. To protect my plants, I brought all the girls inside on Tuesday in preps for the storm. I inspected each one for bugs, rot or anything unusual. I did not find any bugs or bud rot on AK47. The leaves have some wind burn but that doesn’t affect the plant in any way. Auto AK-47XL is 59 days from germination. Divine Seeds indicates it is ready for harvest from the end of August to early September. 8/19 AK-47XL Auto grew outside until harvest today. I put her in the 3x3 in the dark for 3 days and cut her and hung her on August 23rd. Trichomes were mostly milky with only a few amber so it was time to harvest since AK47 is sativa and I don’t want a sedative effect. The smell is woody and piney with only a hint of citrus. From what I see and smell AK47XL should be a nice wake and bake vape. I can’t wait.
