We're expecting a scorching summer here in northwestern Europe, so I figured I'd try my luck with a small outdoor run 😎 I received several free seeds from Fast Buds, so I decided to pop a 1-pack of Strawberry Gorilla. I picked up a small €20 greenhouse and went with a fabric pot filled with a homemade garden mix: 70% orchid potting mix, 15% clay pebbles, and 15% all-purpose potting soil. Germination in a peat pellet only took 3 days. That small layer of inert peat will act as a buffer between the seedling and the substrate during the first couple of weeks. For now, she's getting nothing but plain water with a little Voodoo. So far, she seems to be adapting really well. After the first 7 days, I haven't seen any signs of early nutrient burn. For pest control, I'm keeping things nature-based: companion planting with cherry tomatoes and basil, both of which help repel different kinds of pests. And of course, a few sticky traps for the more adventurous visitors 😏

So far everything went quite well, but at the end of the week she showed a magnesium deficit, which I can't really explain, as I pay extreme attention to these values. She was defoliated and continues to develop well despite the deficiency.

i started with LST. unfortunately the plant grew too fast in height, which doesn't make it any easier now. next week i'll try it with twine. maybe i should it just let it grow as it likes.

Start of flushing for the blueberries, both blueberry plants have very heavy, sticky, stank buds, I'm looking forward to harvesting these beauties! Start of the last week of nutes for the super lemon haze, she has packed in the weight, buds have filled out nicely and stickier than the blueberries. She's still hungrier than the Blueberries, taking an extra 2 liters of feed each week. If the trichomes are showing cloudiness by day 5 of this week, I'll flush her early.

Day 74 and there getting chopped today! I thought the harvest was going to be broken into two separate weeks considering the times on the Choco was listed about 7-10 days sooner then the DD (wich was listed at 70 days for flowering) However looking at the tricombs on the Chocolate Marshmallow most pheno didnt start getting amber untill the DDs did as well! A couple DD pheno could have maybe gone a couple more days but we will see! Going for reveg on all the pheno, since i didnt get to take any clones. We will see how it goes!

Day 20 Did an emergency bare root transplant from biosolids to organic soil. Like, I cleaned the roots off. They were hurting so bad and I definitely ripped some roots in the process, so I decided to prune so the roots had less foliage to feed. They got topped yesterday, too. A little earlier than I would have liked, but it made sense. This one is doing the best. Day 23 Transplanted again down to 2 gallon pots to make room for another round I started. I decided to cut the fan leaves, too. These have been pruned and topped down to nothing but the emerging foilage from the 3rd and 4th nodes. My thinking is that the root system is so compromised that the less foliage they have to feed, the better. Fed some General Organics Bio Root 0-1-1 to promote root growth. Light mnist of pH’d water for foilar feeding. Day 25 I think the Bio Root and the shade is doing them good 🤞Time will tell. If these come back strong, I’ll move them into 15 gallon living soil bags.

Week 1 Flower – Roller Coster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) Lights Flipped, Ride Ascending The ride has shifted — welcome to Week 1 of Flower for the Roller Coster Haze girls. We’ve officially flipped the lights to 11 hours on / 13 hours off, marking the start of their journey into bloom. While they’re not showing any floral signs just yet (no pistils or preflowers), this moment is crucial, it’s the beginning of the shift, and everything that follows builds from here. ⸻ Why 11/13 Light Cycle? Most growers run 12/12 — and while that’s great for many strains, we’ve chosen 11/13 for a specific reason: 🌒 Shortening the light period can help trigger earlier flowering and more aggressive hormonal shifts, particularly in sativa-dominant or haze genetics like these. 🌘 In nature, light hours gradually decrease, and this slightly shorter photoperiod mimics late-season sun, signaling to the plant that it’s time to reproduce. In our experience, this encourages a quicker transition into flower, sometimes with denser stacking and better resin development down the line. The trade-off? Slightly less daily photosynthesis, but with the right lighting power and nutrition, it more than balances out. ⸻ Nutrient Shift – From Start to Top As we flip into flower, we’ve also transitioned our nutrient formula to support the shift in energy: • Removed: • Aptus Start Booster – previously used to support early-stage root development and vegetative vigor. • Introduced: • Aptus Top Booster – same application rate (0.25 ml/L), but designed to stimulate early flower development, improve transition timing, and lay the groundwork for bloom stacking. Why this change? Because the hormonal shift has begun. We’re no longer supporting root initiation, now we’re priming the plant for floral identity, helping her internal systems prepare for the stretch, calyx development, and bloom site stacking. Our base feed remains: • Regulator – 0.25 ml/L • CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml/L • Top Booster – 0.25 ml/L ⸻ Growth & Structure Update These girls are branching like mad, spreading their wings and showing incredible vegetative structure just before stretch kicks in. Both phenotypes are looking stunning: • Pheno #2 & Pheno #3 • ~55 cm in height • Both with 8+ nodes, symmetrical branching, and healthy internode spacing. • Deep green leaves, upright posture, and zero signs of stress or deficiency. We’re expecting these girls to stretch considerably in the coming weeks, and we’re ready for the ride. ⸻ Environmental Snapshot – The Summer Stretch Begins Despite high temps, the girls are thriving. Here’s a readout of current conditions: • PPFD: 760 µmol/m²/s – measured via TrolMaster MBS PAR sensor, ensuring accurate canopy-level intensity. • Temperature: 31°C • Humidity: 50% • VPD: 2.23 kPa – yes, on the high side, but manageable for the moment. • CO₂: 632 ppm We’re aware that VPD is a touch aggressive, and we’re standing by for the arrival of the new AC unit to bring that back into optimal range. Still, the girls are handling it like champions, no curl, no droop, just upward movement and new growth. ⸻ Lights & Control Ecosystem Our lighting and environmental control setup continues to perform beautifully: • ThinkGrow Model One LEDs • Future of Grow LEDs • TrolMaster Tent-X Controller – managing: • CO₂ • Temp & Humidity • PPFD • Device sync • Spider Farmer GGS Controller for extraction fans • Dual 6” exhaust systems with carbon filters • One 6” filtered intake • All airflow dynamically managed via AeroFan + Spider Farmer extraction, allowing clean in/out cycles, keeping the air fresh and responsive. This is a precision ecosystem, designed to respond, not just run. ⸻ Final Thoughts – Lifting Off This may be Week 1 Flower, but it’s really the moment of lift-off. The girls are still pre-flower, yes but this is the space where momentum builds, energy collects, and the transformation begins. We’re shifting from vegetative growth into reproductive focus — and if this week’s energy is any sign, we’re in for a glorious bloom phase. The Roller Coster Haze journey continues , and it’s gaining speed. I'm so late 😩 life been taking over tho. So weather played a huge factor here. Weird storm happened shut power off for a couple days and got the temperature super low in my grow closet. So the deficiencies came in with the vengeance! Didnt notice it right away so I just continued watering at 6.5ph then thats when I started to notice the leaves on the lemo pie curling up. But I thought it was just the light so I moved it from right under it but it just got worse. I procrastinated longer confused on what it was going to do.🤦‍♂️🏿 didn't look good So I made a seabird guano, worm casting, alpha meal tea, breed it for 48hrs and used it about 5days ago. If somebody! anybody! Could let me know if ots a wrap for her or she might be ok? I would really appreciate it.
