When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.

Blütewoche 6: Die Woche begann okay. Das Vergilben ist nicht gravierend schlimmer geworden.. 🙏 Also sollte es hoffentlich doch bis zur Ernte reichen 😁 .... Ich hatte jedoch das Gefühl, dass es irgendwie nicht so wirklich weitergeht.. Die Buds wurden nicht sonderlich dicker, bei 3 von 4 Pflanzen blieb der Stretch fast völlig aus.. Also nochmal jemanden fragen der Ahnung hat. Einen Tag darauf bekam ich Besuch von meinem Kollegen, welcher den Grow das erste mal sah. Er schaute sich die Pflanzen etwas gründlicher an... und sagte, dass dort eine Stelle verdächtig aussieht... Nach weiterer Begutachtung stand fest. Es sind 2 sichtbare Pollensäcke versteckt an der hinteren linken Pflanze... Er beruhigte mich und sagte ich solle nicht durchdrehen.. wir schauen uns es morgen früh im hellen an und entfernen die Säcke vorsichtig.. Das Problem mit dem ruhig bleiben ist nur ... dass es mir nicht so liegt, wenn ich meine gesamte Arbeit schlagartig als gefärdet sehe... 😓😐😶 Am nächsten Tag stellte sich heraus, meine Panik war nicht unbegründet ... kurzgesagt ich habs leider trotz aller Mühen verkackt 😓😓😓 Alles ist voller Samen.. jede Pflanze wurde von der kleinen Skywalker bestäubt. Von unten bis in die Headbuds... Aber Hey bleib locker, kann passieren, lernste draus und gut ist ... Das ist was man in solchen Momenten gerne hört 😡 Das Fazit ist jedoch... Genauso ist es. Es kann passieren. Man kann nicht alles von vornherein wissen. Man kann nicht alles perfekt machen ohne es einmal geübt oder fehler gemacht zu haben... Es ist einfach zu viel, dass man einfach wissen müsste. Ich bin Perfektionist durch und durch .. Aber diesmal war es gaaanz weit entfernt von perfekt 😩 Die ganze Zeit, Nerven, Mühe, Vorfreude und vorallem das Geld .. alles erstmal futsch.. Aber eine Menge dazugelernt habe ich... Hoffentlich kann ich das nächste mal mehr davon richtig anwenden 🙏 Für mich ist der Grow hiermit Emotional und aus wirtschaftlicher Sicht als gescheitert zu betrachten. 💤 Alle Pflanzen werden nun wieder gemeinsam in die erste Growbox unter 200W gestellt um ihre letzten Wochen hoffentlich ganz schnell hinter sich zu bringen.. damit sie mir aus den Augen verschwinden 😕 Die neuen Samen sind bereits eingesetzt und werden mir hoffentlich etwas mehr Glück bringen! 🙏 Vielen Dank fürs Lesen. 19.1.25: I have watered all plants with 300ml of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3, with 1/3 jar of black strap molasses with Ecothrive Biosys-1g. I am looking to increase the sugars for microbial life and plant processes. It'll also add some extra Calcium, Magnesium and trace elements. I also, watered all plants with Bloom nutrients. Using dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients: (ml/l) ;- ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 1g of Ecothrive Biosys I watered around 1-3 litres per plant. Depending on size and requirements. I'm still spilling water containing the nutrient solution. 🙄 I am using this to rub into the leaves. I think a nice foliar massage won't do any harm, make the most of the situation. The plants have become very hungry and thirsty. Increased the water by double. I ran out of my TNC cal-mag. I decided to order the Xpert Nutrients brand, as I like their products. It isn't organic as far as I can tell, but I don't think it matters too much to me, to be honest. I also want to top dress this week, so I bought some Green Leaf PK bud Booster dry amendment from Amazon, too. I'll mix it with canna coco, perlite, worm castings, and Ecothrive Life Cycle. 24.1.25: I went ahead and top dressed all the plants with 4.5 gallons of my supersoil custom mix. This consists of the following substrate and dry amendments: ♡ 60% Canna coco ♡ 20% Worm castings ♡ 15 % Perlite The remaining 5% consists of the following dry amendments;- ♡ 10g Ecothrive Biosys ♡ 1 Tsp RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules ♡ 3 Tsp Vitalink Bat guano ♡ 4 Tsp Diatomaceous earth ♡ 8 Tsp Ground Cinnamon ♡ 10g Green Leaf Bud Booster PK booster. ♡ 3 Tsp Ecothrive Life Cycle. •Worm castings for some all round nutrition. •Cinnamon for mildew and bug repellent. •Canna coco base substrate. •Perlite for adding oxygen to the root and soil system. •Green Leaf Bud Booster PK Booster for blooming. Had a good week with some good growth. They started off a little slow due to transplant mistakes but once I figured it out and fixed it they took off. I think the unknown bag seed might be a male check the pics. I wanted to top them but most they seem to want to stay short. I'll top in a day or two. They are drinking plenty between feedings and they seem to love the grow big. I'll step it up today when I feed and see how they like it. Dont have many pics yet had to move my grow and havnt had time to take proper pics but these are not bad.

Giorno 63 Tempo fa avevo letto un diario qua su Growdiares di un coltivatore esperto (Hawkbo se non sbaglio) in cui era davvero stupito dalla qualità dei fiori di questa Grape Rolex V2. E io quella Grape Rolex V2 ce l'avevo in casa presa da un amico in un'asta su istagram 😊 Tempo di finire alcuni pacchettini che avevo in frigor ed eccola qui in tutto il suo splendore. Pianta alta 120 cm e fiori che sembrano di una pianta femmina a tutti gli effetti.Sono al giorno 63 e mostra un 5% di tricomi ambrati 80% latte e 10% trasparenti. Sta prendendo acqua ed enzimi da 3 giorni e così sarà per altri 10/12. Le 5 Crystal Candy che dire? Belle cazzute come sempre anche senza aria in entrata e con temperature sui 29/30° (al limite). Due saranno pronte in 7/10gg le altre verranno raccolte intorno al giorno 75/80 da seme. Le rifarò per la terza volta di fila quindi se ti interessa il ceppo resta sintonizzato e la rivedrai ancora!!! Finirò gli ultimi semi di Sweet Seeds che ho in casa e nel frattempo cercherò di comprare rifornimento per 1/2 anni di autofiorenti RocBudInc. Penso non ci sia altro da aggiungere. Passo e chiudo 😂

AG#1+6 bolted to showing male sacs & were pulled from tent, guess I'm glad it happened before flipping to 12/12 (today), I'm pretty certain the other 4 are female. I wiped the tent down & water sprayed the rest of plants to be safe. I did some more LST on AG#4+5 Plants seem to be recovering pretty well from the Cal-Mag deficiency, most burn is gone.

So.. the flush begins for DD#1 and #2 checking trich’s and these to ladies are showing about 70% clear to 30% cloudy may finish in week nine. DD#3 still in bloom throwing tons of white hairs and purple flowers 100% clear trichs so she’s gonna get another feeding. DD# 4 is the showcase cause not only did she start out slow but she’s the only 1 of the 4 that’s started purple flowers and and is also purple leafed. I’ll continue to post some picture tonight wanted to get this up as I am flushing and pulling them out of the tent to do so. Also continue to add photo every 2 days. Updated 4/30 day 58 posted video and some new photos Day 60 really started to look at trich’s since plants are definitely getting close. DD#1 looks to be my heaviest producer trich’s are 60/40 no amber yet DD#2 80/20 no amber DD#3 90/10 no amber but it must be a mutation or something in the genetics cause it’s no longer thickening up its foxtailing all over so she still got time and we’ll see DD#4 is looking good and has a few weeks before I’ll start checking trich’s on her, pistols popping white all over the place.

Week 8 10-14 Water, both drinking around 750 ml a day! Pretty much just fun with pictures from here. Kosher still seems a bit hungry, but doing awesome! Ztrawberriez is just nasty! 7 Feb - Filled the reservoir with 1.5L each but looks like the water level thing doesn't work. Update: just watered with the Yucca extract to see how the plants react. Also accidentally broke a branch :( 10 Feb - Top dress tasty flowers + 1L water + yucca 11 Feb - Flipped to 12/12

Day 64 - The beginning of week 10 and started off with 2 gallons of plain pH’d water. I think I waited a day later than I should of cause she was pretty droopy and dried out but seems to of recovered. I ended up tying down a couple of the really long branches to keep her even and seems to of evened up the canopy a bit. Day 65 - Did a bit of defoliating on the lower end of her today, mainly to remove some dying leaves. Since I’ve got 3 flowering plants in the tent right now, I don’t think everything is getting the right light coverage so I’ve got another AGLEX “1200W” COB LED that should be here tomorrow so hopefully I’ll have enough light coverage and penetration from here on out. Day 66 - She’ll be ready for another round of water, 2 gallons worth tomorrow, she’s almost dry. Other than that, not much had to be done with her today. As will all the girls in the tent, I’m trying to figure out how to get my temps down. The AC is out in the house and hoping with some cooler temps moving in, it’ll help cool it down. Day 67 - Nothing new today other than she was very dry so she got her 2 gallons of plain pH’d water, next will be a feeding of nutes. Day 68 - No major updates and issues going on right now. Just got some updated pictures and tucked some leaves, also removed a couple of yellow leaves at the bottom. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and she got a feeding of water and nutes today. She’s starting to fill in nicely but still a few weeks away from harvest.
