Day 8 - First official day of veg and both ladies are right on time for a small adjustment in lighting, PH and nutrients. 10ml of Hydro A & Hydro B were added to both buckets (10L of water in each bucket) and the Milwaukee PH controller was set to work. Starting at a PH of around 7.8, it slowly worked down to a perfect 6.0 over about 50minutes. The lights were readjusted to be 60cm from the seedlings who are all between 8-10cm tall and the intensity of the lights increased to about 70% brightness. Day 9 - Cheech is taking nicely to the adjustment in light and nutrients, but CG 1 is looking a little bit too perky. Going to give her 24 hours to adjust. Day 10 - We have finally renamed CG 1. Fellow enthusiasts, meet Venezia. Day 12 - The root systems are clearly visible in the ladies today Day 13 - The ladies are looking well today. Venezia seems to be showing some light signs of heat stress with slight curling of the leaves. The lights are due to be adjusted tomorrow to account for the seedlings growth over the last week.

The time has come! Flowering has been initiated and is off to a good start, The Photoperiod is now running at 11/13 on/off and the intensity of the light has been bumped up to 60% giving me a DLI of aorund 37.5 at 30" hang height in my 2x4. As the plants where topped a bunch I have found in previous grows the stretch will not be as crazy as if I left them on their own, however the increased pot size may negate that effect, only time will tell :D I also gave them a 2nd watering as the last one was leaving the pots a bit to light. This could be their new normal 1gal one week, 2 gal the next separated by a few days. They have all been amended with a 50/50 mix of grow and bloom from Gaia, Also added in some extra Insect Frass, Yeast and Bokashi grains, mixed this all with worm castings and compost for the top dress. added the compost after mixing it into the top layer so it gives it a bit of a blanket. made a little video of it and me watering the plants on a speed run. One thing I need to find is a sprayer head that has a 70-90 degree bend on it. I'm tired of watering from overhead as my wand is straight and does not have a bend. Its made of hard plastic and was thinking I would toss the tip in the oven to soften it up and place a coat hanger though it, then bend it ever so slightly and wait for it to cool, can snip off the wire and pull it out once its all done and have a bent tip. or I can get a 2nd wand attachment for it. Just been so busy have not had time to search for it, the peppers are doing much better as well, after the defoliation from last week they where getting a bit more light but that is all gone now, the plants have taken it back. and they are in shade, the plants seem to like it more. only the one strain likes the intense light of the led's, Fatalii peppers, It might be the hottest ones I'm growing if the goronong don't measure up. The JigSaw peppers are also starting to show some of their variegation in the leaves that make them pretty to grow now they are in the shade more. and its bound to be better then pure purple leaves from the LED"s Butterwort is eating all the gnats as well. so no problem there. Will apply the nematodes later next week to kill em off in the medium. Don't want them getting trapped in the flowers. stupid little fuckers. I left out some of the extras in the water this week as it was its first topdressing, didn't want to stress it out to much, I will be topdressing every week and diving the total ammount of amendments in 4 parts. vs one big feeding at beginning of the month like its been suggested on the label, I find this helps avoid the N burn I normally see and gives them a bit better of a breakdown for flowering period. It worked really well with my G13 Labs Blue Cindy grow so I am repeating the process and will likely make this my new standard. I will also be adding in some Mg into every other water till stretch is done same with a very light feeding of molasses, I know it has been negative in past grows but going to try it out again with much smaller amounts. 1tea/pot, the extra sugars should work wonders on the Bokashi added into the soil and allow it to thrive. Plants are starting to get more of a funk to them as well, So i feel that's what was happening with the gifted plant to my parents smelling up the place, it was just entering flowering as it was not in a tent n the lighting must have been to low. And the little cuttings I did last week are fine, no roots but will soon have a bunch of little clones to go. Just in time for spring. I think that's it. I want to thank all the growers that take the time to post their work and results, these journals were invaluable in my grow. I also want to thank Royal Queen Seeds for making such a resilient plant available to people like me... I really tortured this girl. Site update really ruined the experience of posting for me for the moment ... so Im going to take a break for a bit and perfect my craft on my own while it works out the kinks.... I cant post many pics, the order of which I can organize them is locked out or moves to another position, and it takes forever to fully load the page so I can edit or update. But I 'really' wanted to finish this journal, so here it is. I promise to be back better than ever once the site works it all out. Hopefully not too long. This was my first seed to weed grow and I learned a lot. I hope my notes, pictures, and videos benefit someone else as well. My results were not typical, Im sure I could have done better, and I will continue on my path to learning and becoming an experienced cultivator of cannabis with skills I can be proud of.

Week 4 – Gorilla Girl is Growing Strong! We’ve reached 4 weeks of growth, and everything is going great! Our Gorilla Girl is thriving and has already reached around 20 cm in height. To encourage a bushier structure and more lateral growth, we’ve performed a topping — cutting off the main tip. This should help her focus energy on developing strong side branches. She’s still growing in her 1.5-liter pot, under optimal climate conditions: Daytime temperature around 28°C, and nighttime at 21°C, with stable humidity levels. We're feeding her with premium-quality fertilizers from Xpert Nutrients, and the results are clearly visible — strong structure, vibrant leaves, and healthy development. my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 60 days and flowering stage was 70 days total (harvested tops at day 63th) the total weight of dry buds was : top buds 174 G + lower buds 55 G = 229 G my overview of strain with details: the seeds: unfortunately i only got 1 seed cracked out of 5 so i will not know how much this genetic can get different but at least i got the chance to grow once of this wonderful strain the plant : in every stage you can ensure that you are dealing with a high level plant , she will get big so you have to control her height LST and SCROG highly recommended , will grow very well with tick stalks and big fan leaves , has good resistance for stress and will respond very well to stress trainings , she really has gorilla power in herself , fresh buds on plant : buds are very compact and dense even from start , fresh blossoms smells like pineapple and mango , 2 different shades of sweet smells like you hold 2 junks of pineapple and mango in your hand and you smell them together, she is a trichome and resin factory , very very sticky , very oily , strong smell dried buds: very compact and dense , hard as rocks , has dark colors with purple hues inside it , it smells sweet smoke : very smooth and sweet like lollipop , pineapple , mango like , after 2 minutes it'll kick in and you'll get higher and higher with every breath , has a strange and especial high mind high mostly

Just notice that one of the fan leaves that I put a small LST clip on has snapped off. Thinking that I may be better off sticking to the large clips removed a few of the LST clips and tied down branches with garden wire. I think this may be the better solution. Accidentally used 1 tsp for Bloom instead of 1/2 tsp. 5ml should be fine for a large plant, hopefully no nute burn as a result. So far she seems to be loving the extra nutes. Plants appear to have loved the 5ml of Bloom. No signs of burn this morning. Did some defoliation today to try and remove large leaves that were blocking light to bud sites

Hey everyone 👋 Back again for a week 2 update. Still not much to report really. The clones all seem to be rooting nicely. A few are yellowing on the leaves. But that's to be expected with very little nutes given to them. (very very small amount to avoid stress or nute burn) Other than the few yellow leaves they are all still very perky looking so that's a definite positive. All in all things are looking on track 👌🏻 If any pros ever see me doing dumb shit with my grow feel free to point it out and give any advice. Any feedback is great. Always room to learn right!? Oh, and the music over the vid is me. I was bored last week and recorded for the first time in yrs. Figured my vids could use some original music over them 😂. she grows healthy ... the temperature has dropped ... and I do not have insects ... the substrate was made by me ... almost most of the day is cloudy ... and that's why the little performance outdoor ...

She is in full flowering stage, smelling very good and with excellent development. During this stage a lot of pistils present and growing. Also cutting old leaves and big ones that don't allow sunlight to enter the plant.

Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.

All fine, i still can't believe how easy it going.
