Week 3 of flower, can see already some nice bud production. Terpenes are building up and making the room stink, has a dark berry chocolatety gassy og smell to it, just how I remember choc mint. The bud structure isn't exactly what I was hoping for but cant complain! Was a free seed sent to me after months of searching for the strain at a time before the v2 was a thing. Buds will be going through the trim bag at harvest so will probs give them more a uniform look to them.

Hey guys:) We‘re finally done with this grow, I‘m pretty happy with the results, but sadly I had one more problem I didn‘t realise until the end. Apparently the white truffle hermed and produced pollen. I think it was due to heat stress, I couldn‘t control the temperature this time around and it was constantly over 32c during the day. Didn‘t know that could stress them so much that they produce pollen… Anyways the white truffle is full of seeds, the other 3 seem to be less impacted with the blue zushi looking the best. Overall they produced much less than last time when I had the triploids, but in terms of trichome coverage and smell they seem superior this time around. I‘m looking forward to their full potential once curing is done. In terms of smell, the white truffle is definitely the most unique and my favorite of the bunch, so sad I messed them up, but that‘s how you learn:) On to the next run, this time I‘m going for sativa dominant strains:)

Heyall Franky is entering week 5 of flowering now. I'm taking off small sht buds from the under canopy almost every day and a few leafs. Not much. Just a tad here and there. Also different expressions are starting to get very visible. Grape venom for example seems to have a discoloring and doesn't overall look as happy as the other strains. But besides that..... Gal is happy. Gonna add some microbes with the next watering. Always a bit of run off. Now always adding green sensation

2/19 Week 8 She is topping 35 inches despite all we could do to control the Flowering growth. Hate to think how tall she would be if we had not. So down the line most likely some bend and secure on the high buds in her near future. Nuets up a little some PK in the mix seems to be really spurring bud growth. She really does seem to like her accommodations. 2/21 Clean up day! Defoliated bottom of plant as finally we are no longer as concerned with stretch. Can really see her structure now, in particular compared to the FF7 beside her. Continuing to increase the nuets slightly 2/22 New tent setup! More light more room!... well for now

On week 4 now since repot Seen some rapid growth this week Started lst the main stem Will wait for the rest to catch up and then the scrog is going up. Not sure if anyone can tell me why the one in the top left is slightly of coloured as its been having exactly the same nuits as the others. Perhaps it's down to genetics maybe.

In veg, it responded well as I learned about how to best train it. In flower, the smell was insane... after the first smell my eyes rolled back. Sweet floral orange citrus with a hint of chemical cleaner smell that comes together to smell like a tropical sunscreen. When I was trimming the tester, my friend was walking by and stopped in his tracks, "whoa which one is that!?" - this one is loud! The smell is super strong even after drying, and really translates into the smoke. This was the star of the show, and made the best smoke. 10/10 would grow again. One small issue was that this plant was by far the most susceptible to powdery mildew. It started on this plant, and any time it popped up in the tent, this plant had some. I had to stay on the Dr Zymes and trimming any affected leaves, but it was worth it. Overall I ended up with just under 40g, but I smoked a bunch while trimming and took a sample cut, so really it was 7-10g more... this one was chopped on day 64. The buds were fat and firm and the trichomes looked ready, with a good mix - probably 5% clear 85% cloudy 10% amber. I trimmed this plant 2nd and was getting better at it, ended up with some really nice looking nugs... so of course I took a ton of pics!

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! This marks the start of a new chapter, and I’m incredibly curious to see how the plants react to these changes. Here’s the current nutrient mix: • System Clean: 0.5 ml/L • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid: 2.1 ml/L I’m keeping the pH at 6.1 and TDS at 556 ppm, and so far, the plants are thriving. This week also included a thorough system clean, ensuring everything runs smoothly as we enter the final flowering stages. 🌿 Bud Development: Pure Magic! The bud formation across all the genetics is nothing short of incredible. Every plant is thriving, and the canopy is lush, vibrant, and full of potential. I’ve raised the PPFD to 750 for this stage, with temps steady at 25°C and RH at 63%—keeping the VPD dialed in at 1.11. Grow Diaries Report: A Challenging Week 🌱✈️ Week 6 – Plant Update This week brought a mix of growth and setbacks. While the plant continued to thrive with her characteristic stretch and bushiness, there were a couple of hiccups to navigate—one caused by me and the other by circumstance. Challenges This Week Limited LST: Unfortunately, I accidentally half-snapped a branch during training. While the branch is still attached and seems to be recovering, it limited my ability to continue LST effectively this week. No Photos: I was on vacation during most of the week, so I wasn’t able to document her progress with pictures this time around. Progress Despite Setbacks Despite these challenges, she’s looking healthy and continues to grow vigorously. The snapped branch has been gently supported, and I’ll be keeping a close eye on its recovery. What’s Next? Allow the damaged branch to heal naturally—no more training on it for now. Resume LST cautiously next week to manage her height and improve the canopy structure. Prepare to monitor her closely as I settle back in and ensure she hasn’t faced any additional issues during my absence. Conclusion This week had its ups and downs, but overall, she’s pushing through like a champ. I was going to chop these beautiful frosty sweet smelling girls down today but after getting in on the trichomes I've decided to go another week to get some more milky and ambers. They are now in full purple dress all leaf is now a dark purple almost black and it's also started to form up on the flowers too. The light is running at 100% and the girls all love it. SP3000 is just so good to me. I want another one just incase anyone from Mars hydro stops by.. I purchased this one myself and I am ready to run a second as an array so come on Mars hydro... Send me one over would you😝🤣👍👍. The frost on these girls can only be down to the introduction on greenbuzz liquids. I grew mom out on biobizz and nowhere near any comparisons. The buds are denser and much more frosty. The smell is stronger and in general the plants feel more resilient.. Flowering day 7 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The flowering started last week because otherwise the space in the small tent would end up being too narrow :-) Cuttings were taken from each phenotype beforehand. To change the flower, I rinsed it very lightly with clean fruits. With the next watering she gets a mix of grow liquid and bloom liquid before she only gets bloom. The heating mat works perfectly in the small tent and the parameters are all in the optimal range 🙏🏻👍. Now we hope that everything stays that way and that the cold days will slowly pass :-) .
