They all doin pretty good, leaves are a little too yellow for my liking at this point I should have added some grow to the mix but they will be fine I think. This is the purp, its finishing quick, nice bud structure. End of week four and plants still look great to my eye. Stretch is finished and now the plant is really going to focus on flower development so the next few weeks should show a lot of growth of the flowers. The smell is starting to really become noticeable. It’s hard for me to pinpoint but it almost smells like sprite but extra lemon limey. I’m thinking around 5-6 more weeks until she’s ready to chop. We shall see.

🌱 Animal Mints — Week 6 From Seed (≈ Week 2 Flower / Pre-Flower Phase) Quick Recap for New Readers This run includes multiple Animal Mints plants, all treated similarly, but we’re mainly cataloging two reference plants to clearly show how timing affects structure and development: • Plant A → 12/12 from seed • Plant B → ~15 days under 16/8 veg, then flipped to flower Same genetics, same room, same feeding — different timelines. That’s the whole experiment. ⸻ Plant A vs Plant B — Why Two Plants? • Plant A (12/12 from seed) • More compact • Slower early structure • Responds very well to gentle leaf bending and light training • Still stretching and stacking nicely • Plant B (short veg period) • Bigger frame • More developed branching • Further along in flower at the same “seed age” • Took light cleanup / lollipopping better This small veg window made a huge difference in structure and flower progression, and that’s exactly why we’re documenting both. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work (No Heavy Defoliation) This week we did selective leaf removal, not a true defoliation: • Opened airflow and light paths • Removed shaded or blocking leaves • Light lollipopping on Plant B only • Plant A kept mostly intact, just leaf bending and spacing Goal wasn’t stress — it was space, airflow, and efficiency. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day Temp: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on height & position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm (now stabilizing around 909 ppm) As outside temps stayed cooler, the room naturally became its own heat source: • Increased plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added No forced heaters. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant gentle movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning down — all feeds now 6.0+) Why Higher pH Right Now? As plants move into flower, nutrient demand shifts: • Better Ca / Mg uptake • Stronger phosphorus & potassium availability • Root activity increases Slightly higher pH at this stage supports structural growth and flower formation, especially under higher light and CO₂. Nutrient Transition • Terra Grow → Flowering nutrients • Supporting the hormonal shift from stretch → stack • Small signs of possible cal-mag demand observed — already being addressed, nothing severe ⸻ 🌿 Growth Observations • Both plants look healthy and vigorous • Plant B is clearly ahead in flower development • Plant A continues to stretch and respond beautifully to training • Leaf color overall is excellent • Bud sites stacking cleanly At this point: • All plants are in pre-flower / early flower • We’re counting this as Week 2 flower in the life cycle ⸻ 📸 Studio Session Plants were brought into the studio to: • document structure clearly • show node spacing and canopy differences • create a clean visual timeline Photos reflect real structure, not “posed perfection”. ⸻ ❤️ Final Words Big thanks to: • the geneticists • the sponsors • the platform • the OGs • the newcomers • the critics • the lovers • even the haters Everyone has a place here. We share wins, mistakes, and lessons openly so we can all grow better together. Criticism is welcome — it’s how progress happens. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Stopped feeding this week other than one watering with molasses. Needing to be watered every 3 days. Other waterings using ph'ed filtered water to 6.5 set on my air bubbler for a few hours before watering. She's very close to being ready. Another week and i think she will be perfect. Notice leaves fading end of last week and they have been getting more color throughout the week. Bud growth only happening closes to the light and much of orange hairs are white. Not a ton of amber trichomes yet which is good. Really liking how this plant is turning out. Nice loud terpene profile and fat dense frosty buds. Trimming should be pretty easy on this one which is a relief knowing how much work I have ahead of me. I think this very could be the fast version.

Week 6 flower. Not much to report with this one. Growing very slow, little buds, smell musky and not very nice but improving, very frosty and getting frostier. Watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17. Day 36 flower I turned off Blumat drip and will water with the watering wand from here on out. Just another potential runaway dripper so I eliminated the risk. I will just build another reliable system with a timer and use the Blumat outside. Thanks for the view! Have a great week!

Welcome to the beginning of week 7 for Karen. Thank you for stopping by! I'm counting this as the first week of flowering but she's been sending out pistils for two weeks, so I guess that weeks four and five should have been flowering weeks. Sorry about that. Surprised to be here but excited to see the next few weeks. Day 44: This girl is amazing. She took the horrendous start I gave her for the first three weeks, and just exploded. Look at her now! If you are really interested, now look at Misty and Nesia - imagine what they could do! I am really pleased with Karen here, I think she has more surprises in store. I am very glad I decided to LST or she would be towering above everything else in the tent. I have noted early Mg deficiency, as more advanced on Nesia. Correcting with foliar and re-addition of CalMag to feed. Day 44.5: Fertigated approx 1.5l. Defoliated approx 10 leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Day 46: Fertigated 2l. Karen is very thirsty. Her roots have breached the side walls at the bottom of the pot in 360 degrees... this is the biggest root system I've had on any potted plant to date. She is stretching fast now, I think by the end of next week she will be done stretching. I must get a photo of her stem. The base is ridiculously thick. Overall Karen is shockingly good compared to expectations from the poor start. I can only imagine how big she would be. She is currently 27cm tall and at least 50cm in diameter. I count at least a dozen colas. Day 47. She is now 29cm tall and pistils are bursting forth at a phrenetic pace. I have added a comparison shot of my grow space for size reference. Day 47.5: Defoliated approx 30 fan leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Rearranged tent and cleaned floor. I have ordered some risers to raise the pots off the floor, this will make it easier to deal with run off. While I was inspecting Karen I had a good look at her roots. The fabric pot she is in has viewing flaps (they were designed for potatoes) and I had a look... every bit of the pot is full of roots, and they're all properly pruned. I see no circulation or binding. If Karen produces at anywhere near the rate she is supposed to then she might yield as much as 150g. Day 48.5: Rapid changes. Pistils everywhere, more stretching. Karen is very thirsty. Fertigated. Added pot risers and adjusted pot. Did a little LST to separate some bunched colas a bit. Had a really good inspect of the root system. Wow this plant is a beast. Day 48.75: Fertigated 3l Day 49: Height 34cm Diameter: 60cm. End of week summary. Really big week, she is stretching quicker and quicker. Today she has developed a striking scent. I will now have to keep the tent closed so temps will rise. Day 49.5: Removed about 10 fan leaves. On reflection back over this week I think I needed to be taking a top and side photo, so I shall do that from next week.

Super Lemon Haze (SLH) Final dry yield came in at 13 oz (≈368 g) of finished flower. All buds were fully trimmed using a bowl trimmer, producing a consistent, clean finish across the harvest. Trim weight was not recorded. Drying was carefully managed to preserve terpene profile and smoothness. Final product smokes exceptionally well — burning to a clean white ash, indicating a proper dry and cure trajectory. Smoke is smooth and easy on the throat, with no harshness. Flavor and effect are true to the cultivar: a classic Super Lemon Haze profile, with bright citrus notes and a clean, uplifting smoke. Overall quality is high, with good structure, even dryness, and excellent burn characteristics. A very successful harvest both in yield and quality.

watered every other day with pk 13/14 and bio boost, somtimes used others nuts. I have it's still a little too hot, and the humidity reaches 70% especially at night but I have good airflow. The smell begins to become more intense and buds looks fatten a little bit better. i decided do not defoliate anymore until week 7. The Gorilla Fast veggest fast but in flowering seems to be not so fast and this is good for me due to the blackberry flowering in 60 70 days so i will try to harvest at same time.

Day 14, some supercropping Day 15 .. it’s under control 😂🤣 Day 19 lights almost maxed to tent height unless I zip tie led to the top ceiling frame, last bit of monster cropping. Lost 2 top nugs to physical led burn but it’s ok. Everything is fine. Still going very hard on soluble N, and Pk along with b+, fishsh!t, microbial mass, humic acid. Carbs every day with organic booster

Hello Growmies, Entering the sixth week of flowering with our vibrant Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrids by Zamnesia, it's evident that our decision to opt for low-stress training over topping is yielding fruitful results. The plants have gracefully embraced the SCROG network, with a well-distributed canopy that's maximizing both light absorption and airflow, fundamental factors for their sustained well-being. The Watermelon Candy's display of luscious green foliage and resilient stems is a clear indicator of their prosperous journey through the vegetative stage and into flowering. The environment within the tent has been fine-tuned to near perfection during the daylight hours thanks to the Tent-X system. The Prima Klima EC blue fan's anticipated arrival next week is expected to iron out the nighttime VPD inconsistencies, ensuring a consistently optimal environment for the critical flowering stage ahead. Despite being introduced a week later than their tent companions, these F1s are displaying a remarkable growth spurt, currently about 10-14 days ahead in development compared to the photoperiod strains sharing their habitat. It's a testament to their vigorous genetics and the efficacy of our environmental controls and nutrient regimen. The weekly feed includes a meticulously measured concoction of Alga Bloom, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, administered every four days to sustain their accelerated growth. We've encountered our fair share of challenges with equipment integration, but it's the resilient spirit of these Watermelon Candy plants that keeps us motivated. Their rapid development and the advent of dense floral sites suggest we're on the path to an abundant harvest. In the latest images, you can see the substantial pre-flower stretch, with plants #2 and #3 particularly standing out with their robust stature and symmetrical growth. It's a joy to witness the fruits of our labor coming to such a vivid life. As we adjust our PPFD levels from 250-350 to a more intense 450-500, we're steering our lush green sea towards a future of dense, resinous buds, all while ensuring our environmental parameters are tightly regulated. The TrolMaster's data logs reveal our success in maintaining VPD within range, with occasional deviations promptly corrected—often just a matter of fine-tuning our fan settings between day and night cycles. Our community's wisdom has been invaluable, and we look forward to more shared experiences as these F1s reach their full potential. Stay lifted, Salokin
