August 18, Day 28. Had to flush on Friday due to nutrient lockout. There were purple stems which caught my attention to a possible nutrient deficiency. Coupled by the dark green older fan leaves and bright green of new growth, my Apera TDS meter confirmed nutrient lockout. Kaboom was flushed a total of 4 times Friday night, then foliar fed at 25% strength the next morning. She was given 1.1 liters of pHd water since the top inch was already dry despite flushing the night before. I am taking her thirst to mean she is recovering well. I plan on resuming the GH least aggressive feed schedule tomorrow and will begin feeding with every watering. Now that she's on the mend from the nutrient lockout I can tell she's thirstier than what she used to be, I'm taking that to mean she's hanging in there. Friends, growmies, cousins, comrades, colleagues and cultivars. Updates last week were minimal because this plant mama came down with COVID. Flushing a plant during COVID fever is no joke. Stay well and healthy everyone. August 19, Day 29. Fed at least aggressive strength today until 25% runoff. Included a new supplement to the nutrient line up, silica. Today is the first time I use it so I went easy and used the weakest dose. Plant has 5 main sites so far, yahoozie. To top a second time? No se todavia, deja lo pienso jajaja August 21, Day 31.Topped one more time, clipped the tallest point to give the others time to catch up. I know I will need to defoliate a tiny bit, soon, but I'm a bit scared to remove either too much or a mega vital leaf. I'll watch videos about it and aim for next week. I sprayed the top inch with pH'd water and will feed and water tomorrow morning. August 22, Day 32. Fed and watered, no recharge since I used it on Day 29. As I repositioned the kabob sticks, I noticed a couple of milestones - she is in the very beginning stages of forming pistils and she is beginning to smell. I plan on keeping her in veg for at least 2 more weeks, hopefully this isn't super ambitious for a plant named Kaboom lol 😂 August 24, Day 34. I checked on Kaboom and found that the top inch was totally dry so I fed and watered her. I used everything except recharge, but will use it at next feeding since I'm aiming for 10 days in between applications. I think Kaboom is looking fabulous

Hey! Just back well I started a diary but stopped growing so placed to my friend's house. Now I decided to be back and yeah here we go.... They are nice fertilization happens 3x a week with the mixture of Biobizz family (Biobloom, Topmax, BioGrow, Epsom salt, Gunokalong extract.) They grow as hell. 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off, 200 ml water per plant a day, humidity approx 35 percent. Day 49: More LST has been done they grow unbelievably fast...

Week 12 The time has finally come I've flipped her to flower! Because of some very slight yellowing of the leaves I've added yet another Biotab at day 77. My experience is that if you're doing a normal grow without too much training follow their guidelines. But if you plan to make your plant big with lots of bending and defoliation you might want to add an extra tablet as soon as you notice any yellowing of the leaves. Within a few days you should see your plant recover.

Got these girls transplanted this weekend. They are already thanking me. Also, they're loving the LED lighting.

Autos are just starting to flower the photos are dying for some bigger pots. I've been trying to bring up the overall plant health in general since moving everything to a basement the temps are a little lower than ideal. I had a space heater delivered today and monitored the temps but they only went up to around 78°f I want it to be atleast 82°f ideally 85. The heater uses 1500 watt and only increased it about 2 or 3°. I dont think it's worth the extra cost for such little boost. I'm thinking about returning the heater and throwing a 1000w hps in one of the other tents and see if that will raise it anymore. Especially with LED and co2 higher temps would be very beneficial in veg and early flower but the room is so big its gunna be tough to pull off without killing me on electric costs. Any suggestions are welcome. I know this room does decent in flower but I havnt done much veg work down here and I'll have some autos growing this round so it's important I get it up.

Sep 1: there might be a bit of lower leaf damage on WP1 after the 2 C night here two nights ago. Otherwise everything seems fine and the buds are progressing. Sep 2: removed some yellowing fan leaves that had been damaged by cold temps. Sep 3: WP1 has finally stopped getting taller and is starting to flower. Good thing too cuz the days get short pretty fast now and it will be iffy as to whether this plant will finish in time. Sep 6: Well, I spoke too soon as WP1 is still getting taller, and it grew 4 inches in 3 days. This far north, it should be flowering not vegging by early September. Oh well. Lots of insect life on WP1 (ladybugs, spider, flys, few ants even) and a few aphids so it seems to be in a balance and the plant is fine. WP2 in the city was force flowered a while ago and is progressing nicely. These are in small 5-gallon pots in an attempt to limit their size and to encourage flowering.

Will be flipping to flower here in 2 weeks or so..

Struggling to get good pictures for my diary at the min when the lights on my pictures are all blurred from the light and i dont like to go in there when its lights out time for them, i had to move the 3 mimosa and 3 tropicana from 1 tent to another and i think the light change stunted the growth for 5/6 although the 5 that got stunted have now bounced back nicely there just way behind in size to the 1 mimosa that took to the change of conditions fine, had a slight nutrient defeciency i developed inbetween weeks 2-3 and they looked worse for wear had me worried to be honest but everything looks nice and healthy now and all growing strong, PS the other 4 decent sized plants are liberty haze i need to edit the diary and add the strain in its also barneys farm, will try to get better pics and videos over the next couple of weeks as i approach switching to flower

This week stretching is done. One of them had a late growth spurt, and is now only 16 inches below the light. It doesn't feel too hot. Leaf temps are 78 right under the light. I'll leave it unless it starts to show signs of stress. You can clearly see her in the pics and video. I have a problem with controlling smell. My house has an entryway that is open to the basement but separated from the main floor, so the entryway smells like the basement. I know what you are thinking... But it is not flower smell. It smells too clean! The massive fan and filter are running at high power to control humidity, and that makes the whole basement smell not normal. Other than that, the tent is on autopilot for now. Not much work needed other than adding 5-10 gallons of plain water every day.

Had a little hint of root rot the other day so I’ve been adding Hydrogen peroxide. I took off a few fan leaves and increased light power 5%. Everything is going ok.

Last week of flowering just finished! This plant showed some great results, the buds gets nice and fat, and slightly above average thc production, but not extreme thc like covering all the leaves, i think this is going to be a nice daily smoke without knocking you out totally! The smell is great, just what i expected from a wedding cake! We will now harvest in some days and start to dry her 😁

I have introduced a dehumidifier to help bring down the RH to closer to 40% if not below Day 38 Nutrients: bio biz (grow, bloom, topmax) Water: 1 Litre Potential magnesium deficiency. Reduce water amount and nutrients by half. Will monitor uptake and intro calmag if needed. Day 39 Nutrients: 2ml Calmag (biobiz) Water: 1 Litre Day 40 Nutrients: none Water: none Day 41 Nutrients: none Water: none Leaves continue to wilt (predominantly large old fan leaves) Day 42 Nutrients: none Water: none Wilting of leaves appears to have slowed. Quick foreword: I hate how Growdiaries does Harvest and Smoke separately and then messes up all the pictures. Please bear with me, I tried to label them all. Wowsers, what a trip this contest grow turned out to be! I am so sorry to submit it one day before the deadline, life got in the way, but the good news is this lovely plant has had a chance to fully cure and she’s been helping me through big changes in my life. Dry weights will be in the Smoke report. I have only input the mother’s dry weight as the total end dry weight. This is because this is a competition diary and the rule is one plant. Consider the clones a successful experiment. They are only here to document how hardy this plant is and how easy she is to clone. Remember, one of the clones was the top of the plant I cut off when topping her before flipping. I usually can never get those to root, but this plant clones very easily! As always, the main plant was dried in a cardboard wardrobe box, modified to have a 5v USB fan extracting air at the bottom. This helps prevent mold but keeps moisture in for a slower dry, which leaves some more terpenes. Drying took around two weeks. Trimming was a pain. I love the smell of this plant, but her lowers are so leafy. If you go back to around the weeks where I flipped, you can clearly see I left too many lower nodes and as a result I had too much of a bush. The Micro DWC experiment ended up surprising me the most. Check out the smoke review for its weight and taste! some people also asked me how far I keep my lights, I don't measure the distance, sorry. I use Photone on iOS and push the ppfd of my plants up to 1000 during flower. The Soil clones and the main competition plant were planted in organic soil from a local garden center mixed with organic fertalizer tablets and worm castings, the clones were in 1L and 3 gallon pots and the main competition plant was planted in a 5 gallon growbag. once the plants ran out of food I fed Plagron's Alga line. the DWC clone used just Plagron Hydro A+B and extra PK 13/14 in flower, this is by far the cheapest and most effective way in my experience, it could be due to lack of skill in organics, but you can clearly see, my DWC plant is frostier than my soil ones, and they're the exact same phenotype. I'll probably be going back to hydroponics, I'm not saying organic isn't the way to go, but for me personally, my skillset and way of growing better fits the artificial nutrients, and as a result my DWC plants flourish. I feel more in control with DWC, I know exactly what's going on in my buckets, whereas with organics I'm often scratching my head in frustration.

Finally into 20 hrs on. The toxicity from the over watering of last week hopefully got fixed when I watered again for the first time in 5 days. I think the fresh batch of water might help her out. Just did straight water nothing else. Packing on weight tho... Oh ya. Starting to really smell like berries it's nice. The buds are developing that dark color too. IT WASN'T WATER TOXICITY. Just her going into late bloom. Final lst. She's going to stay there until end of flower.. I wish I did this earlier and the buds would've been much bigger. Better late than never

Harvest completed for Glueberry OG! Round 2 of this strains grow was majorly different from round 1. Buds are very dense and insanely sticky!
