Week 2 of Flower: Absolute Power Mode & Defoliation Day 🚀🌿💎
Welcome back to the Lab! 🔬 We are officially wrapping up Week 2 of flower, and things are getting absolutely insane inside the testing facility! 💥 "The Gassy One" is running on pure high-octane fuel right now, pushing all genetic limits with a massive, aggressive growth spurt! 📈🏃♂️💨
Growth & The Great Stretch 📊📏
The plant vitality is completely unmatched! 💪 These ladies are throwing down serious node growth on a daily basis. 🌿 Since we are dealing with a heavily performing, vigorous hybrid, the internal hormone shift is causing an absolute explosion in height and canopy expansion! 🚀 The stems are getting beautifully thick, and they are begging for the light. 🔋 At the exact end of this week, we hit the perfect sweet spot to finally strip them down and unleash their full potential! ✂️⚡
The Defoliation Ritual & Stress Management ✂️🍃🕵️♂️
With the tent packing out completely from wall to wall, it was time for a heavy, calculated cleanup! 🛡️ We went in and executed a radical defoliation and lollipoppen to open up the entire structure. 🌳
The Goal: Getting that pristine, intense light from the Mars Hydro all the way down to the lower nodes, maximizing micro-climate airflow, and keeping the environment perfectly dialed in! 🌪️🎯
Quick Check: During the cleanup, I meticulously inspected the node junctions under the dense foliage. 🔍 Spotted a couple of micro-hermie signs (tiny 0.5mm pollen sacks) hidden deep down due to the extreme stretch stress. 🛑 Caught them early at a completely immature stage, neutralized them instantly with water, and plucked them off. 💦 Everything is perfectly safe, clean, and back on a pure female track! 👩⚕️✨
Nutrition & Environmental Metrics 🥥⚙️💧
The Athena Ag Blended Line combined with the automated AutoPot System is proving once again why it’s a commercial-tier cheat code! 🏆 The root zone is chugging nutrients nonstop, maintaining beautiful, deep, vibrant green leaf colors, and the foliage is actively "praying" to the light! 🙏☀️

EC: 1.8 ⚡ (Feeding heavy to match the massive stretch demands!)

This week went pretty well, other than she stretched like crazy and I am now getting worried about running out of vertical space. I also had a few of my bottom leaves get a few brown and yellow spots on them. I did post some pics and asked a question, thank you for the responses, much appreciated! I am thinking about adding my Spyder Farmer LED 100 Watt light into the tent for the nebula auto because it is about 23 inches shorter than the sour diesel. I believe it would only raise my temp about 2 degrees, and possibly lower the humidity by one or two percent. I must say my dehumidifier has been a freaking stud, running 24X7 and not complaining. I should look into adding another unit, it has been in the mid 90's and muggy for about a week. So far I have to say I am super impressed and excited with this setup, the genetics, and with growing this wonderful plant in general. Already planning ahead to my next grow, and what I can do better. I have been enjoying myself and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions! I am having a blast and am excited to see what this lady will give up in a few weeks!

No se cómo expresar mi felicidad después de casi 3 años sin poder cultivar consecutivamente he podido cosechar esta belleza gracias a @blacktunaco por la K.O una genética llena de resina con flores compactas. Cometiendo errores desde el principio se pudo obtener una excelente planta corrigiendo todo para así mejorar el aprendizaje continuo. Se dieron 12 días de lavado de raíz y 3 de estos estuvo expuesto a lluvia constante durante los 3 días por tal razón se decidió cosechar para evitar dañar las flores

The plants had been a little root-bound before transplanting them into the bigger pots, this showed in a yellowing of the leaves and a slowed growth. During week 5, now in the bigger pots, the plants are recovering quickly. The start to grow in a nice healthy green color and quickly get bigger in size. Since the light-mix has nutrients in it for appr. 2 weeks, I only add a little BIO NOVA Roots and BN-Zym to my 'FLEXITANK' reservoir. After adding the nutrients I measure the ph-value and see its 6,6. That is too high for cannabis-plant on soil, they cannot take up all nutrients at that ph-level. Therefore I use ph-min from BIO NOVA to decrease the value of the 100 liter nutrient solution in my reservoir to ph=6,0. At this ph-level the plants can take up all nutrients they need for a healthy growth. My two SANlight EVO4-120 LED-fixtures are hanging 75 cm above the plants and are tilted inwards by 11 degrees, following the recommendations of the lights manufacturer. The fixtures are dimmed to 60% of power (=1 green light ON on the dimmer) at this stage, so they plants get a nice stretch and grow into bigger plants fast.

Not much to say just growing like crazy through wind and rain!
Keep getting dry they drink so much.
One has copper defiency and has fraggled leaves but the rain keeps washing my nutrients away and I've ran out of Activera 🙈 so I'll have to find another fix

Bonjour les amis,
Je viens tout juste de faire mes photos et vidéos, ça va faire 1 semaines que j'ai commencé à leur mettre de l'engrais (pro organic) mais apparemment mes fifilles ne le supporte pas elles commencent à me faire des taches (marron jaune). Du coup je les est mis en rinçage et après je leur mettrais du purin d'orties fait maison. J'espère vraiment qu'elles vont se remettre d'à plomb, je serai vraiment triste 😥 si je les perds.

🚿 watered her twice this week, with 1l of RO tap water with defined nutrients mixed individually, in order and then pH'd to 6.3. I haven't altered her feeding just yet as she is just about to finish the stretching phase of bloom. From next week, these values will start to increase 👍🏻
✂️ No work done on her this week, I tend to limit the work on plants during the stretch phase to reduce the stress put on the pants! I want her to grow to her full potential 🙏🏻
🌸 Her bud sites have started to develop really well, there are four main stems with six side stems each, all of which are developing bud sites with good internodal spacing 🙌🏻 I'm really impressed with this plant!!

Weekly Update on the Runtz 🌱
Hey everyone! Just wanted to share how the Runtz is coming along. She's thriving under the care of the Plagron nutrients 🌿, reacting beautifully to every feed. Since my last update, she’s sprouted several new nodes and is showing incredible growth!

She’s definitely growing like a sativa 🌳, with those long, stretchy branches. To manage that, I’m planning to enforce some solid training techniques to keep her short and wide, just the way I like it 💪✨.

All photos are from the last day of week 3.
This week we had some problems with the temperatures, not to mention the broken fan.
We solved the problem by removing the power supply from the Lumatek ats 300w pro lamp and taking it outside the tent.
Everything seems to be fine even if there are some yellowish leaves.

One Foster said goodbye around day 35. Some nutrients missed her but idk why only on one plant. The others look good so far :)

Amelie has settled in well in the new tent and has gained 4cm in height this week.
As she had been standing on the piano by the window under a 7W lamp for a really long time, waiting for a tent to finally become available, she had produced a lot of leaf material.
This now had to come down.
On 08.03.25 I therefore lollipopped and did some defoliation on the leaf canopy.
Now it is nice and airy again and can concentrate fully on flowering.
Incidentally, the pistils were already visible on 03.03., 8 days after the start of flowering.
I had sent the mother into flowering in the previous run and fed her with Biobizz Grow/Bloom/Calmag and Plagron Green Sensation.
As I still have a sample of Biobizz Topmax here, I thought I'd give it a try and see what effect it has on the taste.
It's supposed to be sweeter, I've heard.

Plant is doing amazing! This is my first grow & I am so excited , I’m in the process of practicing LST , I am not the best but you learn as you go! Let me know what you all think! She seems healthy to me
