Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. 14/7/26 day 43 of flowering,beginning week 7.

The phenotypes of the two plants now show another clear difference. The plant on the left has developed two equally large, beautiful main stems and is small and bushy, as I would expect from an OG Kush or an Indica. The plant on the right has put on another extreme stretch during flowering, as you would expect from a Sativa. I therefore had to tie off the two main stems to prevent them from suffering burns at the top of the lamp. The buds are now clearly visible. The odor has increased significantly and is already very pungent in the third week of flowering. We did not fertilize this week but only added 10g BioEnhancer from GreenHouse Feeding to 1 liter of water.

Aug 29: PGC is doing great.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Day 144 23/09/24 Monday (Start of week) De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag today. Seeing her starting to really take shape now, buds forming well, trichomes now flooding in. She's looking good 😍 Day 146 25/09/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron PK13-14. Day 148 27/09/24 Friday Feed again today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag. She is now exploding with bud sites 🤤 Will lollipop at end of week to allow better focus on tops. 🌱 First week of my cannabis growing adventure with autoflowers! 🌟 As a newbie, I'm diving into the art of low stress training early on because autos have a shorter grow period and I'm curious to see how far I can push the limits. Just experimenting and gathering valuable experience in this rapid growing phase! 📚 ✨ Planted in light mix soil with added worm castings in fabric and plastic pots to compare outcomes. the girls gain 1cm a day :) they are still quite vigorous, quite green; I expect another week of stretch before they concentrate on the buds. maximum dose of alga bloom, green sensation and sugar royal. my whole tent is occupied by the canopy; would a little defoliation be necessary? i'll take any advice :) One small thing: look at the 2 last pics, it looks like a "twin head", I've never seen that before EDIT : finally defoliated them next morning (see last pic), they now breathe again :) EDIT 2 : a small research on web & i got my response : "twin head" = polyploïd cannabis

These cali genetics are blowing my mind 🤯 super sticky, very frosty rock dence buds with extra strong smells. All 3 strains are 10 out of 10, very impressed. Done last defoliation few days ago, preparing for the harvest so it's much easier. Stalks are super fat, same as buds. Got big surprise from Atami, plant food, and many extras. Crazy.
