Hello Growmies, I'm thrilled to update you on the plant's progress! In the last week, she has beautifully filled out the scrog. Just yesterday, I flipped her into the flowering stage. This means I'll slowly increase her feeding, although I don't plan to go too heavy on the nutrients since she seems to prefer a lighter touch. She's quite particular about her nutrients, requiring me to change the reservoir every five days. If I delay, she shows signs of distress on her leaves, but these issues resolve immediately after I refresh the reservoir. While she's stretching in the preflower stage, I'll continue to guide her growth into the empty areas of the scrog screen. Wow these girls are looking great! Nice big naturally shaped canopies that are just bursting with buds. Speaking of which the buds are just beginning to swell up and produce trichomes this week, so they are for sure 1-2 weeks behind the other strains in the tent. But with the size the buds are already we could be looking at some chinky ladies in a few weeks. Have noticed that some areas of the root on the tray of the front plant are showing a bit of green. Looks like maybe algae, or something of the sorts. Will start mixing in some hydroclean to the res, helps flush roots and clean lines. Could just be to exposure to air as well, not that humidity between 53-55%. Back plant doesn't show any discolouration on the roots as far as I can tell, but it's pretty hard to get all the way back they so not 100% sure. Girls still getting 650-700 umol/s for 20 hours a day. Ran out of B52 and and the temp enhancer, so am supplementing with some nutrients I got in a bulk buy. Using Nutes Nutrients Microbooster. Seems to have many of the same benefits of B52 and Bud Candy, so far plants seem happy with it.

Start of week 5. Expecting to flower at the end of this week. Hopefully. Added advanced nutes Cal mag and PH perfect micro grow bloom. 2ml/L on day 29 08/29/20. And again on 09/02/20 Auto speed bud is pretty much an experimental strain since its so fast. 65 days from sprout to harvest. 3 are looking really good. The other 3 not so much. Very fun strain to grow. Easy to train and love to get big. We had 2 different expressions on the plants and both where very pleasing. Both plants grew vigorously and provided me with just over 3/4 pound of dry medicine!

This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. Today is day 51 of flower and the top bud site calyxes are already showing a good amount of amber on the trichomes. Maybe being stunted in seedling phase caused some change in the plants growth hormones. Who knows? I’m still gonna give her at least a week until I chop her. Gonna have to start checking overall plant trichomes nightly though just so I can get a feel for the plants overall maturity/ripeness level. So excited for this harvest. The plant smells like heavenly maple syrupy butter lol.

Day 56: Gave the girls another plain watering pH adjusted to 6.5 then added Mammoth P @ 67°F. Not fading as quickly as I'd thought they would. Chopped the Triple Cheese today and moved our Gelat.O.G. into the open spot in flower. Breeder specs show 50-56 day Bloom an I think last run she may have went too long. Plan to be in the garden 8/5 (Day 58) and hoping to see some more fading and swelling going on. The aromas on the tent are absolutely tantalizing. I will try to get a few more photos for ya'll. Day 58: Did some minor defoliation in the veg tent and took photos. I decided today I would upload unfiltered and unedited photos. Enjoy! Day 61 of 12/12: I noticed seeds in the Skunk #1.😭😭😭 Possibly other plants too, but I was mostly on the lookout for the flowers to tonight. I noticed a single banana popping out of Purple Queen. I decided to harvest all but the Strawberry Amnesia and the Blueberry. I will get pictures soon and update with harvest deets. I need to take a closer look to see what plants may have been pollenated and if there are any other nanners. I did have a timer fail (which has been replaced) at the end if week 1 of flower. Not sure if this could be the cause, if I let her go too long, or if it's just the genetics. I am hoping for minimal damage. I'd be interested in a Purple Queen x Chenobyl cross. Think the seeds would be prone to hermies or would ya'll toss the beans in the bin?

Hey everyone ☺️. It gets more beautiful from week to week 😍👍. I have them all this week Sprayed again properly with neem oil in the veggie phase ☺️. There have been no trips for 2 weeks, but prevention is better 😀. Because of the neem oil, the plants look very dark and shiny, which I really like when they shimmer like that 😝. I didn't do any training these days, that will be done again the next few days 👌. it was watered twice this week with around 0.6 l per plant. The Ph / Ec measuring device was also recalibrated. A YouTube viewer mentioned that this could be due to genetics in Fastbuds. So I looked at my old grows. Yes, they all have it, just not as pronounced. I think it was due to underwatering. The leaves were papery. My Soil is peat moss heavy. Whatever it is, it doesn't seem to bother her. On day 28 I poked my finger into the soil at different moisture levels and noticed that fewer or no roots had grown in the drier areas compared to the moister ones. The roots are essentially performing air pruning. However, I want roots to grow in the less moist areas of the pot as well. For this, moist soil is necessary. The plant can only perform air pruning once its roots have filled the pot.

Week 3 Grow Diary Report: Days 15-21 As we progress into the third week each of our strains—Tropicana Cookies, Gorilla Zkittlez, and Apple Strudel—continues to showcase impressive growth and resilience. This week, particular attention was given to optimizing environmental conditions, including an increase in CO2 levels (Growbag), adjustments in lighting (PPFD increase) to support the vegetative growth phase and introducing some light LST. Tropicana Cookies: Significant growth was observed, with plant height increasing from 12.5 cm to 18.5 cm. This rapid growth spurt, referred to locally as "stretching," was noticeable mid-week. The plants have maintained their health with no major issues, responding well to environmental adjustments. Continued nutrient regimen with Alfa Boost. Since the soil is preamendet with nutrients, I just use PH-balanced water. Lighting intensity was increased progressively from 350 PPFD to 380 PPFD and then to 400 PPFD and CO2 supplementation was implemented to support enhanced photosynthesis. Environmental Conditions maintained stable with temperatures ranging from 27°C during the day to 21-25°C at night, with relative humidity around 64-68%. Gorilla Zkittlez: Growth was steady, increasing from 10.2 cm to 15 cm. The plant has responded well to environmental controls and nutrient supply. Gorilla Zkittlez remains in good health, with no signs of nutrient burn or deficiencies. Apple Strudel: This strain showed a healthy increase from 9.5 cm to 14 cm. Growth rates are slightly behind Tropicana Cookies but on par with expected metrics for the strain. She continues to exhibit good health, benefiting from the stable grow conditions and targeted nutrient applications. Week 3 has shown promising developments with all strains demonstrating robust growth and good health. The environmental adjustments, particularly the increased CO2 supplementation and lighting, appear to be positively impacting the plants' growth dynamics. As we move forward, it will be important to continue monitoring these conditions closely to ensure that they remain optimal for each stage of plant development. Cheers, D.
