🌞🌿 🌿 Week 13 – Mentha de Croco 🇬🇧 What a week! 🚀 Both plants have now reached approximately 155 cm, gaining an impressive 24 cm in just one week 📏🌱. The ongoing heatwave, with daytime temperatures reaching 39°C, has significantly increased their water demand ☀️🌡️. Each plant is currently consuming around 5 liters of water per day 💧. Besides the daily watering, they received one feeding this week with a nettle and horsetail ferment at a concentration of 10 ml/L 🌿. Despite the extreme conditions, both plants remain exceptionally healthy and vigorous 💚. If this growth rate continues, they are on track to break the 2-meter mark in about two weeks! 📈 In the end, however, the 30-liter pot size will likely determine their final height. Until then, it’s all about watering, observing, and enjoying this explosive growth! 🌞🌿

Howdy growfessors! Welcome to week 7F in the 4x8 theatre. The ladies are hungry, I've been increasing their feeding and they still want more! Defoliation performed, removed a lot of small dead or dying leaves from the lower branches. Not much else to say, thanks for stopping by growfessors 👽🌳💚

Today, I spent some time tying down branches under the net again. It’s still a tricky task as the branches are quite brittle and break easily. Fortunately, the plants recover quickly, and so far, I’ve mainly noticed new growth sprouting from where the branches broke. Watering Experiment: Too Much or Just Right? Two days ago, I decided to give each plant an additional 2 liters of water to test the effects of what felt like overwatering. The results were interesting: High Humidity: The relative humidity spiked to 74%, which I consider a minor downside. Lower Temperature: Dropped to 29°C. Explosive Growth: The plants responded with vigorous growth! Given the humidity increase, I’ve decided to water the plants heavily only once a week. This approach should give them time to rest and prevent the growth of more mushrooms in the soil—yes, I’ve spotted a few popping up from the pot’s surface. Monitoring pH and Nutrient Reservoir I’ve also noticed that the pH has crept up to 6.2, indicating that the nutrient water hardness is decreasing. This suggests it might be time for a full reservoir refresh. Tonight, I plan to inspect the reservoir and clean it out. Thankfully, my hydro pump makes draining it a quick and easy process. Observations & Next Steps Continue training and monitoring branch recovery. Stick to the adjusted watering schedule. Refresh the nutrient reservoir and recalibrate the pH if needed. The grow is progressing nicely, and the plants seem happy despite some of the challenges. Let’s keep it going! 🌱 Cheers 30/11: Added some pictures, not to much to say because I didn't look at them the last 2 days and they just went crazy.. 01/01/25: Happy New year!! Leaving them alone is not an option... If they keep growing like this, I'll take it! This weekend, I'll do some heavy pruning. For now, I’ve snapped a few stems and tied some others to see which method gives better results. I’ve done about half so far, but I need to head to bed because of work. Tomorrow evening, I’ll tackle the other half. Also, I’ll look for some more subtle zip ties.

it's been a very good week 💚 I feel a little bad for this plant cause it's getting a little squished by the other two but I'm ddfinetly not complaining😅🌱. started giving 5l of water per plant every 5 days. runoff shows that they are not over or under fed :) and pH is about 6.3. very very very happy with this grow 💚 Barney's farm amazing as always

There as big as they can be for my space so I'm switching to 12/12 Ive also switched the IR on as it's supposed to speed up the flowering transition. It's a new light to me at the moment from geeklight it's 3000k 320w v4 lm301H with added 660nm switchable IR and UV. I've got it 40cm from the plants and have been using a lux meter app on my phone. (don't have par meter) I read online that 50000 max in veg and 65000 to70000 max in veg is about right but I'm just turning it up as I go. The plants are very compact compared to HPS. My light spread over 120x60cm is really good in comparison to a 440w HPS. If anyone has experience with quantum boards I'm open to advice?

Timelapse! I've meant to get a timelapse camera set up since I first started this grow. I am reasonably confident that future weeks will include full-week timelapses. For most of this week, my plant has seemed to have stopped growing. It got to a point where the leaves were becoming wilted, which prompted me to add nutrients. I was a bit skeptical regarding whether it was a good time to do this, or if I would be adding nutrients prematurely. All has seemed to have gone well with the nutrients, as the next day the leaves perked up substantially. Mid week, I changed the light schedule form 18/6 to 20/4 because I figured more light would enable better growth. Currently, I am puzzled as to why the leaves have developed some light and dark splotches. Could this be a result of light stress? EDIT (in response to my leaf spotting question): Thanks to those who have responded to my leaf spotting question! I have raised the light from 18.5in (I never measured it until now) to the recommended 24in. There is no chance of nutrient solution getting on the leafs to cause the spotting, but I did spray the tent with water + (dilute) hydrogen peroxide in an attempt to raise the humidity. Maybe this is the cause? I am currently battling the relative humidity. As someone mention, it is low! If i plug in my room-humidifier, the humidity will get way to high (80%+). I've placed an open container of tap water + hydrogen peroxide mix in the tent, but it doesn't appear to do much! I'd like to note here that I am using liquid indicator drops for my pH, so the pH is only my best measurement at the time of mixing solution. My pH may not be as low as I indicated this week! I think I'll throw in some tap water in lieu of cal-mag supplements,. I figure my city's hard water may be of benefit here!

Hey everyone 😀. A lot has happened again this week 👍. Pheno 1 goes from the color more and more to red 😍, whereby Pheno 2 also slowly starts to color 😃. Flowering day 21 Today both were poured with 1.2 L each and checked for their health. The humidifier was also refilled. Flowering day 22 Today the tent was cleaned and both phenotypes checked for pests and so on. Flowering day 23 Today both were poured again, this time only 1.6 l for both together. The tent was cleaned with disinfectant 👍. Flowering day 24 Today the humidifier was refilled, the activated carbon filter changed after 9 months, and all the electronics checked :-). Flowering day 25 Today 1.5 l was poured per plant so that some train comes out and rinses out excess nutrients 👍. The box was also cleaned and the plants checked for health. Flowering day 26 In both phenotypes, the bottom mini buds were removed for the last time so that the full energy goes into the top buds 👍. The tent was cleaned and the whole room was cleaned. Flowering day 27 Like every two days, the water was also poured today, but this time only 0.7 l per plant, because two days ago it was poured with Train 😄. The lamps were adjusted to the size and placed about 5 cm high. All in all, it was a perfect week, everything is going as it should and the plants are feeling very good 👍. Day 15: Nothing to do today. Day 16: She looks very healthy and the 2 branches are developed enough, to LST them already a bit. I watered her with 0.5 L @ 6.4 and nutrients above (except Plagron Alga Grow, at this time it was 2 ml/L). Also, I placed a bowl with water and a CO2 Tab beside her. Day 17: She is so fast, strong and look at her 2 very huge leafs. Almost as big as my hand already 😳 Day 18: Look at her, she is about 45cm wide already. And thirsty. Today, I gave her 1 L @ 6.4 with nutrients mentioned above. Day 19: She broke herself a branch 😔 Maybe the ground peg was a bit to tight. The other branch ripped the ground peg out of the soil. I will let her grow now and hope she will finish anyhow fine. Today, I also startet the Autopot System. Day 20: She is still going strong, even after her loss of a branch. Also the AutoPot system seems to be accepted pretty well and she drinks a lot, already. Day 21: It seems like she loves the CO2 Tab and the AutoPot system. Nothing to do today. -------------------------------------------------------------- You also like to get some seeds from Fast Buds? You like a 15% discount?
