Not sure why my buds are airy & foxtailing a bit. Maybe heat stress or maybe just the genetics. 🤷‍♂️🏽Nothing else in the room showed nug structures like this so it kinda makes me suspect the bud structures to be due to genetics. 🤔

2 of them got cut on day 66 the last one on day 69 but overall I couldn’t be happier with these babies they all put off some amazing buds & didn’t give me much trouble at all! This is by far my favorite auto of this grow & I will be doing another run with them! If you havnt already go get you some seeds from seedsman you won’t be disappointed! Our Micro-Breeding project was a success. The Cross between Jealousy Mintz x Royal Runtz has some awesome F1´s. Awesome short growing plants. They are not the tallest but they are one of the loudes i have ever grown. Sweet Fruity Notes like Orange Fanta and fruitmix right behind. Buds are also looking Fire 😈👽👽👽👽👽

Hey everyone! 😁 Another week, another update and I've learnt a lot this week! It seems my theory that I was underfeeding Puff was right (I mean, it's not rocket science and I confused charts haha) and I had to do something to fix this issue! Some people I talked with recommended me to buy a product called "Revive" from Advanced Nutrients since it would help with a faster recovery than just adapting the nutrients... and it seems it works! I applied it twice (this week's post) and the next and the improvements are really noticeable! (specially now!) My concern now tho is when I should start flushing! Puff should be ready soon and supposedly I should start doing it two weeks before harvest... and I should harvest when trichomes are 50 cloudy and 50 amber... but how can I tell when I those two weeks are close? The trichomes should be 20% amber? 10% amber? It's confusing! 😱 I know as well that the two weeks flush is just a number, I could also flush for one week but I still don't know WHEN it'll be the right time to start doing it but I think that by the middle of the next week or by the end of it I'll start doing it. Die Systeme sind mittlerweile gut eingestellt und auch das etwas laute Gluggern habe ich in den Griff bekommen. Jetzt sind die Systeme vom Geräuschpegel nahezu gleichwertig. Die Nährlösung ist dieses mal von Anfang an stabil, da ich die Eimer, den Blähton und die Steinwollwürfel alle vorher in vollwertiger Nährlösung eingeweicht hatte. Ich habe sie dann über 2 Tage noch nachregeln müssen und ab dann war der PH-Wert soweit stabil und ich konnte die vorgekeimten Seeds in die Würfel werfen. Mit dieser Methode fühle ich mich dieses mal irgendwie etwas "sicherer", aber mal schauen, ob sie dieses mal anfangs trotzdem wieder etwas durchgemangelt aussehen. Long time no post! I’ve been lazy about it, my bad. I’ll try and catch up before harvest in a week!! All going excellent, think I had a calmag issue early on because of how big these ladies got but they are finishing very strong! No issues with heat or humidity, all pretty controlled this time!!

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. Another nice, trouble free week. She has responded well to the ramp up in nutes and is looking good now she's been defoliated (again!). Seriously girl would turn into a hedge if left to her own devices. Having to really keep an eye on the humidity and empty the dehumidifier twice a day but it's doing it's job so...... can't complain! End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

Week 5 of flower. There are some little problems with the plant... I am guessing some salt buildup so I flushed the plant and continue to feed afterwards. She is looking very sticky and the smell is amazing! This will be a good one if the buds are decent in the end! 😶‍🌫️
