Special Kush #1 now is growing quite well though in the week spent outdoors has suffered from the wind and is very sensitive to overwatering. Struggled with possibly a calcium and magnesium deficiency on #4. Had to remove some damaged leaves and now have separated it to her own reservoir. Has not stunt her growth, she is bout 5 inches taller atm then her sisters. Flow has been a struggle, if I was do one thing different is go with a 1" drain system instead of the 1/2" it presently has. Started with a drip, yet due to clogs and wanting a faster circulation, I changed to a steady flow over the clay. Presently #1 - #3 are on one reservoir and #4 on its own reservoir (In the video above shows #4). It's been a matter of adjusting the output flow and tubing size to get maximum flow without backing up the drain system.

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train.
