26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. Consumption (Assimilation): Plants absorb nitrates from the soil and water to produce proteins and DNA. Removal (Denitrification): In anaerobic (low-oxygen) environments like waterlogged soils, wetlands, and lake sediments, denitrifying bacteria use the oxygen in nitrate as an energy source, converting it into nitrogen gas N2 and nitrous oxide N2O, which return to the atmosphere.

One of the seedlings died. Oh well. Dropped another seed in a cup of dechlorinated water today to start another one. It's been getting significantly warmer out so hopefully that will help things along.

This week was a little late due to the holiday. This is the week RSQ Wedding Cake flipped to flower. I accidentally super cropped her when trying to bend a branch over. After that she started drinking a whole lot more (hence the underwatered pictures)

Sep 6: the bud type seems a bit disappointing. Likely just this particular phenotype but she is not really forming normal looking buds. Whatever, the smell is very nice and there will be enough mass and potency for extracts. Sep 7: added a final round of malted barley and Power Bloom. Sep 12: don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you follow up with a far red light to put them into dark mode. Otherwise you run a higher risk of hermies.

11/12: day 35 of flower. final defoliation - just on autopilot now. These ladies should now be moving on to that last stretch of maturity. And so I did a final defoliation. The dramatic differences between all 4 of these is interesting to say the least. #4 is probably my favorite pf the group. It is so frosty compared to the other 3 and its not even close. #1 is the monster of the bunch with #3 close behind it. Both of those plants have grown monster buds considering I'm only in week 5-6. #2 is just a disappointment all together. It is small, has produced only small popcorn nugs. They all now smell very strongly of sweet lemon chemicals/fuel. The smells dramatically changed this week and im hoping it gets even more smelly. I am still very frustrated with the lack of purple. So much so that i am considering tossing all of the clones i have for these cause i dont yet see a reason to keep a mother. I was after the purple and lemon. I have lots of green lemon smelling seeds that i already know love the bud from. I am looking forward to the next week as these start to finish up.

This week was good she showed me the first real signs of flower...after 3 weeks^^ hopefully, she will be good in 7 to 8 weeks 🙏 have a nice week 👌🙏✌️
