Took a while to get there but OMG little note quick! So I started her in a 1 litre pot and stuck her on top of a 1.5L Pepsi bottle with the top chopped off! And she yielded heavily for that amount of soil a whopping! 224.63 wet weight so can’t wait to see what she holds dry because them buds were like boulders! So dense! I will be back to document her dry weight and then a couple of weeks later with the update on the smoke report! But I know it’s going to be so loud! She has deep pungent aromas like gassy and sweet! She’s going to be a powerhouse! She was a little over as today a banana developed but that just tells me “well done” timing just right! She’s a little long for my taste of auto but I do suggest anyone grow her she’s amazing! In the end!

Last week of flowering, since couple of days we are only giving water but the last shot of ultra PK did some great work here, she swollen up and got really fat the last weeks. wonderful strain, really generous and easy to grow, vigorous and a really nice old school smell with a sweet mango like touch!

Algae is an asshole. Thought things were going really well... and then found a bit of algae in the rockwool.... No biggie I figure. Wrong. Left it one night, and today (Sunday) open the jar to find algae in all the roots. Not cool. Well, I needed to swap the nutrients anyway, and was going to do a major bonsai pruning... so why not also wash everything, plant included, in mild hydrogen peroxide solution? Sure, THAT's fun. Made the decision to swap Hydroguard for H2O2 as well, since the water is room temp (21-22 C) and the H2O2 supposedly helps prevent algae.... and keeps away root rot even in higher solution temperatures. Oh, and H2O2 is also seemingly a buffer... making getting the pH right in that small jar strange - needed WAY more pH down than without the hydrogen peroxide. Fingers crossed that the major life disturbances will help manage the algae and not just put the nails in the coffin.

Our Slurricane is one of those plants that I always say are my favorites, I am fascinated by low internode plants for their style. It is one of those plants that is doing well I would already promote it but to avoid the risk of speaking too soon, let's see what grass it will give us. For each strain we have at least two plants there is also a specimen that is growing straight that you do not see in the photos for now for each strain of her I have a very small one still probably I will do another diary. The tent has been full of aromas, colors, and emotions — and this week brought a little surprise twist. Our Pheno #2, the bold one, the heavy one, decided she couldn’t hold her own weight anymore and literally bowed to gravity. When I arrived, half of her was on the ground, saying: “It’s time, my friend. Harvest me.” And honestly, she was right. Perfect trichomes, perfect colors — it was exactly her moment. So, we harvested her with love, laughter, and respect. Sometimes, nature tells you what to do, and all you can do is listen. We didn’t dry her whole as we usually do — since she broke herself in half, we had to go with a different approach this time. A reminder that every grow has its own personality and surprises. We took it as part of the adventure and had a good laugh about it — because in the end, that’s what growing is: learning, adapting, and enjoying every step. Meanwhile, her sister Pheno #3 is still standing tall and absolutely shining.
