Week 9: Growth, Clones, and Preparing for Buds This week brought some important changes to the grow! The plants stretched significantly, taking advantage of the rainy weather, despite the temperature fluctuations. Overall, the conditions are supporting their development well. Notes: I made a few more clones, and so far, all of them are thriving. It's exciting to see a 100% survival rate for the clones so far. Out of the 12 plants, I identified three males. Two of them have started opening their pollen sacs, and I’ve begun collecting. The pollen is being stored in the freezer for future breeding projects. I did a light defoliation to improve light penetration to the lower branches, which should help promote even growth.

The buds are swelling nicely 🌱💨 and developing super well the terps are turning out amazing! 😍✨

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. What’s up fellow Growmies! Got another exciting strain from Canuk Seeds... Cement Shoes! Yep, gonna be sleeping with the fishes. Lol First time trying this strain but so far it’s been a breeze. I kinda took a break from documenting my grows because life got a bit hectic for a bit their, but I’m back and got some more great strains lined up for the future. Gonna try and do an outdoor RDWC setup this summer so stay tuned, gonna be some monsters hopefully! I’ve never seen it done really and I have a few ideas...lol but anyway, back the the cement shoes. So I started them awhile back(not exactly sure when) in my smaller tent(3x4) under a single 1200w King LED grow light. They spent about 2 months in this tent in 3 gal DWC buckets until they outgrew the buckets and tent and need to be moved. Up until this point they were kinda just on auto pilot in the background of my other larger tents. But I was planning on reducing my plant count in my larger 4x8 tents so I decided to go from 4 plants per tent to 2 plants per tent, so we needed some big girls to fill these tents. Lol they were topped at 3-4th node and just let them go from there. They ended up being about 3 feet tall above the 1ft tall buckets. Moved them over too one of my bigger 4x8 tents and added a screen very carefully and ScrOG’d them out. Still waiting on my new Eye HPS Bulb so they are still currently under my 1000w MH. I’ll post all the pics I can find in this weeks log from the veg time and they are about 2 weeks into flower now so I’ll snap some flower pics soon and continue from there. So far 2 plants vegged a bit longer are filling the shoes of 4 plants no problem. Having more space means I also have not had to really defoliate at all. Well that’s it so far, stay tuned for more! Day 65 : officially 1st day of flush . Changed the reservoir with fresh water and 1.2g/5 gallons of Yucca extract and 5ml/gallon of Cleanex from Botanicare . Day 68- I did some defoliate. Few more days until harvest.

This plant has developed very nicely without any issues and so I decided to transplant the 10 plants I'll be growing with the complete biotabs organic line, I Transplanted this lady on day 39 since seed and I've prepared the 50L pot using 5 Slow release tabs, using 25g for every 5L of soil of startrex and sprinkled mycotrex in the transplant hole just a couple of grams maybe 3, and then I watered the soil once the transplant was done, I watered applying to the water 1ml per liter of orgatrex and 1g per liter of bactrex

Update day 65: Exactly one week after switching to 12/12 and they have stretched by about 20cm. The stretch will probably continue for another week and then the real flowering will begin. Both are also developing identically in the stretch. The plants are slowly consuming more and more water and the metabolism will change. By the way, the fan was in the same place. You can therefore use it as a good reference. At the end of the stretch, I plan to remove the side branches that I didn't remove in the last few weeks of the veg. This will leave only the actual main branches from the mainlining. Update day 67: Nothing to say Update day 69: It's day 11 since 12/12h and the stretch has almost completely stopped. The #2 also shows the first pistils. That's why I decided to trim the plant today, as you can see in the pictures. I removed the side branches except for those at the top of a branch or if they have developed extremely well. I also removed a few leaves. I hope that this will allow the lower branches to catch up a little. Interestingly, #2 has developed even better with stronger shoots than #1. I'm not a fan of major defoliation so just a little. Maybe I'll remove more in the future.

7/11/25 New week babieess😍😍!!!! 7/13/25 Ohhh baby, the Mephisto experiment is cooking so so good right now. I’m actually kind of stunned at how things are evolving, especially with Forum Stomper, a.k.a. Stompy the Comeback Queen. She had kind of a rocky start — I mean, cotyledons were looking funky, and she went all bush-mode on me: dense structure, super tight internodal spacing, real short-stack energy. But oh no no, she wasn’t done. Fast forward to now... Stompy is a straight-up MONSTER. A chunky, thriving beast that just keeps getting bigger — and I know she’s not done yet. She’s officially stretching into flower now. Not just hinting at it — nah, full flowering stretch is underway, and she’s reaching up like she just realized she’s got room to take over the whole tent. I love this part. Today was watering day, and both girls got their special cocktails. First up, Grapey. She drank 4.4 liters of love, with her mix spiked up with BioBloom at 16 ml, Topmax at 12 ml, BioHeaven at 16 ml, Activera at 16 ml, Agamic at 12 ml, and a touch of CalMag at 3.5 ml. She’s hitting flower hard now too, and this brew should set her up to swell up sweet and loud. Going in: pH 6,23, PPM 510 Temp 22,5 °C Runoff: pH 6,47, PPM 1350 Then we’ve got Stompy, the Comeback Queen. She got 4 liters of her own nutrient-rich mix: BioBloom 12 ml, Topmax 10 ml, Activera 12 ml, BioHeaven 12 ml, Agamic 10 ml, CalMag 3.5 ml, and just a whisper of CicaMax at 0.3 ml to finesse that vigor. Oh, and let’s not forget — she also got her guano top dress today. I scooped out one of my little measuring cups, sprinkled it in like fairy dust, and let nature do its thing. This is going to kick the bloom engine into overdrive. Going in: pH 6,22 PPM 485 Temp 22 °C Runoff: pH 6,7 PPM 650 7/17/25 Today Grapey got 4.8 liters of water, going in pH at 6.0, PPM 88, temperature 21.2 degrees Celsius. Runoff was pH 6.8 and PPM 760. Stompy got also 4.8 liters of water, pH going in at 6.0, PPM 106, temperature 21 degrees. Runoff came out pH 6.2 and PPM 2000. Goddamn 😅 but she seems okay with it. I think the next watering will also be just plain water because she has enough there. I will see.😍

_Environment_Setup The amount of water I give has easily doubled - to about 5 l every 2 - 3 days. Super excited for the little jumping spider. At the end of this week, I decied to rotate the whole pot by 180°. The reason being, that the wall relfects light + the window bringing in light, so that one side gets more and grew stronger. Should even out the canopy. _Preflower Now it's 2 girls (but sadly right next to each other). _Plants I definitely need to thin out the plants. Right now, each plant basically has only its two main shoots. The two additional side shoots on each plant are underdeveloped due to the lack of light, so I’ll probably remove some of them. The cell damage to the lower leaves is increasingly evident as a result of a combination of an excessively dry period, low light intensity, and a lack of nutrients.
