Buds are very resinous, but due to the stretch they are very spaced between each other. Also I'm getting trouble to fatten them up. Seem airy and the tips are drying a litle bit.

Still chugging along even though I've neglected them a little. A fun little side experiment, I learned a lot. At least I'll have flower from 6 more girls, not a complete waste.

This girl is very hungry, last week I detected small brown spots on a fanleaf. With increasing light power to 100% over the week, the Ca, Mg deficiency intensified. As a first-aid measure, I watered the plants with a dolomite lime suspension with a pH of 6. The BioBizz product arrived in the mail midweek. I added 1 mL/L of CalMg with every watering. In addition I added 10mL LAB (lacto acid bacteria, diy with rice water and milk) per liter of irrigation water. By the end of the week, the foliage already looked a bit greener. I hope the deficiency was caught early enough and won’t affect the plants’ future growth. For the next run, I’ll need to increase the amount of dolomite lime in the soil. Another potential issue could be my tap water, which has been demineralized by osmosis. Light Power: 100% Day 79 Flower #28 Photoshooting

This week went ok she started expanding her leaves and geting bigger. I'm still feeding her the same amount of nutrients and pH of 6.5 .she has nice purple stripes in the stems which I'm quite pleased about so hopefully she will turn out a nice looking plant. She will be going outside later on this month with a supplemental lighting at the end of the day and maybe flowered towards the end of this year or during the summer . Thank you for looking at the diary and we'll be an update next week and remember it's 420 somewhere

Added a photo to show where I take RH/Temp measurements from in the tent, pretty much inside the canopy. Went lower on EC this week to give the plant a little time to regenerate and pack some more before harvest. The dehumidifier is pulling less and less moisture out of the air every day, this is a additional sign to me that the plant is nearing its end. Not quite sure when to harvest, maybe next week or the week after, the plant isn't really stacking, it is frosty but I am missing the quantity, the pictures are kinda deceiving. After another weekend spent away from home, on day 26 both Opiums present at 30 cm height, having grown big and bushy. Their thirst increased, I will water them when their next day starts. And do some more LST. Not too long until I can install the scrogging net. I am really impressed by their progress. They developed a lot of branching side branches and look really healthy and bushy. In contrast to what I wrote before, I think I can stay a few days longer with the current 80% 18/6 lighting scheme. Leaf positions do not show signs of light hunger, so no reason to change. Watered them with 1.5 l each on their 27th morning, this time adding some flower fertilisers too. Compensated their relief with some more LST. I can see in timelapse video they are tmelselves compensating this stress easily; it’s amazing to see how fast they turn their heads. You’ll see soon too. For reference: Pot diameter is approx. 25 cm. So lady #1 spreads about this much, lady #2 is even about 10 cm more. Guess they’ll make a very dense scrog surface, but first let’s have them have their stretch. Day 28 evening revealed ladies are getting thirstier. The holey pots might be helpful in root development, but they are not when it comes to keeping the tent clean. Because of their structure, water runs out in respectable quantities each time they are fed, which takes a long time to evaporate and adds to air humidity of course. Which on the other hand is currently quite ok. Outside air temperatures are around 30 °C the last days, so a bit more humidity helps to keep the VPD in range. Which is quite ok as I still cannot complain about their growth – around 2–3 cm each day currently. Grow video for day 28 (sorry about the interferences! Due to the control hard- & software being offline I cannot silence the blower(s) when a photo is taken anymore) shows steady growth and very vivid movements again. Dropping of their leaves around their evening is possibly due to me watering them again as soil was surprisingly dry already. On their day 29 evening, it’s clear to see how much they are stretching: They really gained 5 cm since yesterday! Lights are close to 30 cm, so I think I’ll reposition things a bit when their next week starts. Attached video shows the day’s progress. They say you cannot scrog an Automatic but seeing the development speed and bushiness I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I guess the buds can profit from being a bit more apart from each other if I handle to fiddle them through the holes in time. I rearranged the lights to be at about 45 cm apart from the tops and set the lights to 100% at a 16/8 lighting scheme, waking them up one hour later than before and sending them to sleep one hour earlier. Last day of this week, day 30, shows that growth speed has even increased. Lady 1 crosses the scrog net already which is positioned at 46 cm above soil. Gave them slightly enhanced water again, 2 l each.

Purpling on one plant, lots of light-colored fan leaves on the others. The buds keep growing and maturing. The seed source says 9 weeks but I am aware they often take longer. I wonder if the top buds will eventually grow to the size of the preflower buds.

_____ Week 12 | Day 85 - 92 | 5th week blooming 💮 ______ Day 85 🌞 oh yes... the smell when I open the tent becomes more and more intense. The buds also look more and more frosty... I think the extra side light pays off, where normally there is little or no light, the buds look just as frosty as the top colas. I hope you can see that well in the pictures... unfortunately I don't have much space to take good pictures of the pages... Only LPH 2 & 3 can be seen well from the front. Amnesia Haze: Amnesia, as expected, is much slower in development than LPH and Biscotti. Number 1 looks a bit wilder and scruffy than 2 and 3. Also from the development 2 and 3 are further and form already diligent trichomes Biscotti: both biscottis look identical, same pheno I think. development is very good and already looks very frosty Lemon Power Haze: LPH 2 & 3 look identical, with number 3 looking frostier and furthest along in terms of development. LPH number 1 looks totally different, the buds look quite small, and it also looks different. I have to think about something for watering. I love my plants but watering 8 pieces in such a small space is no fun hehe. At the moment I water them manually via a small water pump, the whole thing is very fast but I still have to dislocate myself every time to get to the back plants. this is not the yellow from the egg :D For the next grow, the plants have to be higher and I'm thinking of an automatic water supply. Actually, watering my plants calms me down when I do it with the watering can, but under different conditions...Possibly also fewer plants but more training. When the tent is empty again, I start to implement my plans. I'm also thinking about growing 1 or 2 plants in a DWC system. Whether I make something myself or buy something ready-made is not yet clear. If you have any tips, feel free to write to me. Day 86 🌞💧 - Today was feeding time again, as announced again after the 3rd day. I mixed a little more than 25 liters and provided each plant with ~3 liters Day 89 🌞💧 - Three days are over again and the plants are hungry again. 3 liter each Plant, small drain. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Light - 12/12 h - 560 Watt - 2x 200 Watt Toplight - 4 x 40 Watt Lightbars PPFD - 900 - 1000 µmol Temp. avg. - 22,1° Hum. avg. - 56,3 % RLH

--- The weather forecast predicted low temperatures of only 5° C. daytime temperature with daily continuous fog, so I decided to harvest. The lady in the grow box had caught mould in a leaf axil while still in the foil tent, the entire branch was drying out, so she was also harvested. Outdoor growing is and remains a ‘run with mother nature across seasons’, we cannot determine all the factors. This is a disadvantage but also a challenge that I gladly accept every year, be it tomatoes, peppers, artichokes or borlotti beans in the open field. I can now enjoy the results until the next season. However, after the season is before the season, a lot of seeds have accumulated and new varieties have to be selected.
