Week 8: The Bakery is Open! 🎂👃 The Update: We are officially in full bloom mode! If last week was about the frost starting, this week is all about the bulk. The Wedding Cake is living up to her name the smell is getting sweeter, heavier, and definitely more pungent. Bud Development: The PK 13-14 is doing its magic. The colas are visibly swelling day by day, and the calyxes are stacking up beautifully. The "popcorn" buds lower down are hardening up thanks to that defoliation last week. Most pistils are still white, but I'm spotting a few starting to turn amber/orange as she matures. Nutrients & Care: Continuing with the "heavy hitter" mix: Bio-Bloom & Top-Max: keeping the sugars high. PK 13-14: pushing that density. Environment: Temps are steady at 25°C. I'm keeping a very close watch on humidity (aiming to drop it slightly below 65% if possible) to keep mold away from these chunky flowers. Next Steps: Just letting her bake! The structure is set, now it's just a waiting game for them to ripen. ⏳

Hey guys . A wonderful week goes by with a super growth :-). After I topped it for the first time last week, it recovered very quickly and showed great growth. I braided the shoots of Dr Grinspoon under the hooks with LST every day. It still looks a bit uncoordinated and funny but that will change as soon as it is allowed to grow in height while it is in bloom :-). Depending on how long the other women in the tent still need their vegiphase, I then switch to 12/12 hours for flowering. I think it will be ready in the next 7-14 days 👍. This week it was poured 3 times with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). The tent was cleaned and the health of all women was checked :-). After the photos she was sprayed again with neem oil so that the last little tripse disappeared. Even if you can't see any more trips I will spray it one last time next week to make sure :-). pH was important as expected and a bit of light burn later on in the grow but ultimately it was pretty smooth sailing. I used a very common nutrient (GHE) and not overly strong. Buds were thick, dense, and moderately pine smelling. The plant did not grow excessively tall thanks to LST, and the LST did not seem to have any ill effects at all. Foliage was thick, and I let it go for a very long time before doing any sort of defoliation. Even then it was modest and just to get light to the lower colas. Still in trimming mode and will continue to update :) Also, other plants in the house got spider mites. Not this one. Could have been that it was in hydro and others weren't but hard to say.

10/29/20-Day 23 #1) 4.5” tall, nice looking 4th set of leaves. #2) 5.75” tall. All new growth, including lower axillary buds, is yellowing. Green tint toward tips, brown/copper spots on 3rd set of leaves. #2 is taller because is lacks chlorophyll and is stretching to get more light. 10/31/20-Day 25 - watered 300ml each 11/2/20-Day 27 started LST on #1.

5 week vegetating. The nutrient overdose is still there. I was outside the weekend and the plant growed too quick (doubled in size in 5 days) so it got burnt with the lamp as yo can see in the pictures. I think it will act likea a topping but i don't know the real impact yet. I have set up an scrog to try to contain the height (1 week later due to logistic problems). The root system is insane and healthy. I think she is near to start flowering maybe this week or the next week. Day 36 update- as you can see the plant is preflowering. I won't change the nutrient solution yet to avoid another fertilization excess. when the plant recover from scrog and prunning i will change to flowering nutrient dose at 80%.

Day 35: The weeks seem to be flashing past now we have some buds to admire. Wedding Cake is storming the field in this tank and without doubt the leader of the pack. She feeds really well and shows no sign of slowing down at all. she is beginning to give of a really nice biscuit smell up close and touched and her sticky buds are certainly pushing oils out. She has a good deal of space to keep growing out and up into so heres to a 5-tier wedding cake at harvest. Black Ghost O.G is certainly a tryer and is putting some very frosty trichs and pistils out now to make up for her lack of size. I dont think it is an impressive grower but i dont doubt the hit that she will give from the building up of these trichs . Gorilla Glue#4 is being a typical GG#4 I am happy to say. she is falling under her oily buds weight on her skinny limbs and need a pinochio conversion to keep her upright so i got bits with the yo-yo's to keep her up. She smells so nice when touched but is so sticky she doesnt want to let go !. Now that her roots are not submerged entirely , her leaf colour has come back to a beautiful green again. She has a fairly decent size but I think quality over quantity will be a mantra I use for her yield. . Have a fun week until next time . keep it green and mean.

Gave them water on Wednesday at 6.4ph distilled water. Began having issues with ac in my house. Temps got up to 81° and humidity rose to 60%. Been sitting around 75° and 50% humidity. On sunday they were ready for water again. My wife changed out the fish tank water on saturday, so i used 20% ratio of old tank water to distilled water and adjusted ph to 6.1. They are starting to take off and develop nodes quickly, now.

A new light has been added to the tent. I noticed a bit of a droop for several hours after adding it. After 4 hours they started picking up again. They are quite healthy and seem to be very happy. PH Is around 6.0. It just seems easier to keep it around 6.0. The PH seems to rise to 6 a day after correcting it down to 5.7 so I gave up. PPM is around 1000 and cal mag is being added to help them cope with the higher light intensity during flower. Pk13/14 has been added in a very small amount and a slightly higher does will be used in the next week. Increased nutrients to 11ml/gal each. Trichomes still mostly clear. Several weeks of flower left yet.

2/6/26. switched light on 12/12. watered with canna terra flores. 4/6-watered with CAL-MAG XTRA. 6/6-watered with B52. The familiar aroma of baking that the previous plants had began to appear.
