Hey guys! New week, here we are! As always, every Sunday is cleaning day. Took everything again from the tent, washed the saucers. Was also time to cut down some leaves as it was starting to look very bushy and hard for the light to get through it. During that time, came across with some bugs under the foliage, which isn't a great sign for sure. Not to mention the fruit flies that move in and are making my life a little chaos. Reducing now the RH a bit, and watering now on every 72h instead of 48h to keep the grow as dry as possible. Increasing the ventilator speed was another attempt, it so much air circulating should be hard for them to make a living inside. Just put now more of those fly traps and will add a couple glasses of cider vinegar here and there, as it attracts most of the flying things with success. Note that some plants are yellowing and that's never a good sign. Though for few weeks it was Nitrogen deficiency, but after increasing it and the CalMag values, the problem persists, so I'm inclined for something bug related. Besides that, temps are still very stable, RH was changed, now to 40% tops, and the light went a little lower to get it closer to the plants - always with the light burn effect in mind. 40cm is the line between the tops and the lamp. Flowering is looking good, buds are forming well and seems that's gonna be a good ending if I can keep the bugs under control. She's on pre-flower, switched the nutrients and increased a bit the feeding volume. That's all folks, have a great week

Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be here in around two weeks +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience with this Ten Week cultivar! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she's not going to make the 70 days in flower 'suggested' by the breeder and will probably go in the dark later this coming week, but we'll have to see what her trichomes have to say! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Finishing out week 5 of flower and continuing my daily treatment for PM. Using Athena Mildew Control, an organic reactive treatment spray that you can use on the entire plant up to harvest. Realizing PM is systemic and is like herpes...it never goes away! All you can do is spot treat on a daily basis, the outward symptom of PM, which is the white patches/spots. Treating primarily Mimosa, but also parts of the Bling as well. Napali Pink - As usual, is impervious to this type of PM and is thriving, with huge fat buds that still continue to get fatter and tighter by the day. They haven't even fully swollen up yet either. If the smoke is great, which I am sure it will be, this is a strain that I highly recommend growing. It has excellent branching structure with upward growth with very little help. Takes nutrients well and not too fussy or needy with any of variations of NPK or micros. I would say based on the looks of the buds and trichs, she will be a last to finish, but well worth the wait, as I have so. Many. Fat. Ass. Buds!! Mimosa - such an amazing daytime strain that I would loove to always keep on hand, as this strain is on of my All Time Favorites! However, with such prized buds and terp profile, she is vulnerable to PM. She has had it the worst, and always continue to spot treat it daily. She is gaining this cool hue of purple along the outer edges of the leaves, as well as what I thought was PM, but surprisingly turned out to be a shit ton of trichs! Buds are fattening up nicely and think she will be the 2nd to finish out of the bunch. If I could grow her again, I will, but will be sure and do a preventative treatment for PM during her entire life cycle. The Bling - she has been a trip growing, as she is very viney and lanky, but her branches firm up nice and strong. Practiced some Kushman Chiropractic on some of the stems with success. Had to spot spray, but not as bad as Mimosa's PM. Since I defoliated all leaves covering bud sites, along with huge fans, the buds have actually grown in height and girth! This one never ceases to amaze as she has come back from a bad HST. She is so heavy with trichs, it looks like it snowed on the buds. I am hoping to get a good yield but between the three ladies, she will come in last for that. Used bamboo stakes to secure all branches/bud heads; used zip tie and paracord to secure to bamboo. Now every single bud gets light! Also testing out a Diminishing Light Schedule and now down to 11 hrs of daylight this week. Will continue to reduce by 1/2 hr each week until I hit 9 hrs of daylight. I will hold at that. Otherwise, patiently waiting for harvest!

31/1 So yes I've had some trouble keep this lady under control, she keep forcing again LST so to give a better light compensation at the lower branches I've cut a top leaf, now the canopy look much more uniform hope she gonna react and respond well, we'll see in the next days 4/4 So we had an amazing week, the runtz improves a lot and start to produce many withe pistils, it's gonna be the last week of vegetation so from now on i was thinking to add an extra light, the low branches are streching out and the top cola it's incrementing his yield, hope to see new nice improvement btw Happy easter!

This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

Day 7. Gave her some nutes yesterday. Responding well. Day 13. Will be ready for LST in probably 3 days.

This week has been great ,today is day 78 and the girls are just doin their thang , 1 looks ready for flush already and the rest look about another longer then flush for them aswell,, can’t wait to see how these girls finish out over the next couple of weeks 😍!!
