Smoke report was for first plant harvested the smaller one. And she's not even cured yet, can't Wait to see how second plant harvested bigger one turns out I let her go 60% amber 30% cloudy and 10% still clear trichomes. Pros, she will let you relax, good night med. Still curing plant 2 but feeling stoked Earlier cut was less amber still good sleeping. Such a great ending to the week. We finally got to the finish line for growing. Now comes the dry and cure.

08/09/2020/ start of week 3 flowering, I think I'm seeing P deficiency? Watered her with LAB to see if it helps going to put a couple spikes of 4-9-3 around the outer rim, and water in with more LAB to get the microbial army mobilized.🙏

Dear diary, Week 4 almost done, but posting a day in advance as I will need help from the community! Something terrible has happened, and I am not sure what, so let’s jump into it. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 25: Away from home so the flatmate is feeding them from the premixed bucket. ⏰ Day 26: Back home! As they have doubled in size I am transplanting up from 3liter to 20liter airpots. The 75/25 coco to perlite mix was first run with 1.23ms 5.8ph calmag water followed by 1.33ms 5.8ph nutes before transplanting over. Light was about 305 so also upped it to 320-330ppfd. ⏰ Day 27: Feed the girls at 1.36ms and 6.0ph. Today was also the day where the mainlining begins! This was done by topping above the 3rd node, removing any growth below the 3rd and tying them down to start the manfold. Aiming for 8 or 16 tops for each plant depending on how the grow. ⏰ Day 28: Feeding at 1.36ms 5.8ph and adjusted ties. ⏰ Day 29: Checked in on them in the morning before lights off, and something is very wrong. All the older leaves show all kinds of issues like curling, brown and yellow spots, drooping etc. Might just be from the chock of mainlining and the lights being to strong so lowered them to 230ppfd. Later when lights turned on again, their state has not deteriorated during light off, so I’m fairly sure it is light related. But to be sure I also gave the girls 2 liter each of feed to make sure there are no dryspots, 1.36ms 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: I was away all day so they were watered by flatmate with 1.35ms 6ph. When I came home later in the night the spots and yellowing is still happening on the older leaves but much slower than before. I also checked runoff and it’s fine at 1.46ms and 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: Gave a feeding of 1.46ms 6.3ph in were I increased A and B nutes to 2.5ml/l from 2.0 and calmag to 1.5ml/l from 1.3. Someone suggested that it might be magnesium deficiency so that is why I changed the ratios and increased the EC a bit. Lastly I also gave a foliar spray of calmag water at like 12ml/l at 6.3ph to see if that helps so we can head into a smoother week 5!

Day 1 of flower

Long time no see. I was a little bit busy the last few days, but we‘re back and she‘s still looking healthy and well developed. I took the apex leafs two times in the last 6-8 days and gave her 2-3 days for recovery each time before i took the next pair of apex leafs. I think in the next few days i‘m gonna spread her wide open and the blooming begins.

Bertha is the weakest of my six plants. Final LST done day 36. Day 37: More of the same. Bertha's days are numbered. Day 39: I've just about had enough. This plant has been utterly disappointing. Day 40: Almost pulled her yesterday. However until or unless I desperately need the space I've decided to let her trundle along. I think <10g is the potential yield at this point. However I've been surprised before. In my first grow I had bare sticks that yielded 60 and 70g dry so who knows? Day 41: Slight smell. Smells good... Bertha has a reprieve. Day 42: End of the week for tiny Bertha she's fully flowering for sure but not much is happening. I might drop down to weekly updates for this lady, I am less and less interested in her. Looking back on this grow, I predicted in week 1 (day 7) that she would be stunted, so I do not know why I have allowed myself any anxiety around this grow. The only reason that I had some encouragement was because Karen recovered so well, but I did not damage Karen's roots on day 7... really of all the various mistakes in this grow, that was the one that was most impactful. With that said, I do think I was sent a runty little seed. Anyway, I am calm about Bertha now... she will do what she will do. My only slight irritation is that she is in a 40l pot and she would probably be fine in a 10l pot. I have space for 3 more big pots... I have two Auto Purple OG Punch germinating (fingers crossed), and they will get a pot each and the final pot will contain some new F1 seeds from Royal Queen Seeds. So Bertha is safe, I am already growing more plants than I planned to and I have to stop somewhere or I will end up with plants coming out of my ears.

Day 0. Got few presents from Mars Hydro New lights TS1000, was very happy, that she has dimmer and current price make her a good grab New Mars tent, they a great and last few years easy, tested not once. Great AMS strain, always wanted to grow few more Chocolope after my first diary here. Day 1. Girls is out and looks happy ;) Happy Growing !

All good flowers are coming along nicely and getting thicker. 500ml water per day 12/12, fertilization happens on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with the mix above. All good so far I just keep removing the bottom leaves that are yellowish. Fruit Tree will be the quickest to be harvested all of them are nicely maturing needs some more time. Some more weeks and we will see.

June, 1st. Totally forgot to update the Bubblegum. What should I say, its awonderful, stunning Plant. Never thought that after i had so Problems to get her to grow in the very early Seedlingsstage So once again... never give up on a Plant and iam having Clones... yaay She has a great Structure, ( LST pays off now) and Buds are stacking up all around lushgreen Happy looking Plant Watering nearly daily ( with the Beneficals) Feedings if needed

It’s fascinating to see two very different expressions of the same genetics side by side, a reminder of the beauty of phenotype variation and why selective growing is such an art. ⸻ 🌱 Why Week 3 Flower Matters Week 3 is one of the most critical weeks in flowering. Here’s why: • The plants are finishing their initial stretch and stabilizing in height. • Bud sites are setting in, pistils multiplying, and the true architecture of the flowers begins to show. • Nutrient demand shifts from pure vegetative growth into a more balanced call for energy to support flower production. This is the week where the plant defines her frame for the buds to come, too much stress or poor nutrition here can limit yield and structure later on. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition – Simple & Effective We’re keeping it straightforward, leaning on the Aptus Holland super Soil and organic program: • All-in-One Pellets – mixed in the soil from the start, slowly releasing balanced nutrition. • Regulator – helps with nutrient uptake and strengthens the plant structure. • Top Booster – added gently to encourage early bud development. • CalMag – to support strong cell walls and avoid deficiencies. Still, the girls are holding up beautifully: • Room temp: peaking around 31°C • Humidity: ~60% (a bit higher over the last few days) • Soil temp: ~25°C • PPFD (PAR): • Pheno #2 (compact at ~90 cm): 760–780 μmol/m²/s • Pheno #1 (tall at ~1.95 m): 1,000–1,100 μmol/m²/s, reaching closer to the light This difference in PPFD is a natural result of their height difference — with Pheno #1 stretching closer to the light, she’s getting a more intense dose. It’ll be interesting to see how she handles the higher intensity compared to her more compact sister. 💡 Grower’s Note – Balancing Different Phenos Under One Light It’s common in multi-pheno runs to have plants finishing at different heights. Here are a few ways to manage light distribution and avoid stress or uneven growth: • Raise the fixture slightly to reduce intensity for taller plants. • Dim the light (if possible) to bring PPFD down into the sweet spot, while adding supplemental side or under-canopy lighting to support the shorter pheno. • Low-stress training (LST) or gentle bending/tucking of the tallest colas can help bring the canopy closer to even. • Stools or risers under shorter pots can bring compact phenos closer to the light. Every grow space is unique, so it’s all about finding the right balance to keep both phenos thriving. Start of week 4 of flowering. Week 3 went well, even with temps reaching 35°c in the closet. I've since added another fan to circulate more air, temps have dropped down to 31°c. Despite the heat stress, the plants are growing rather well and bud sites are developing nicely. Light defoliation again this feeding. Based on the heat issues, I need to upgrade my exhaust fan, 100 CFM isn't enough to get ride of the heat.
