Day 57 - Starting off week 9 and she’s looking gorgeous still. Decided that I’m going to give her straight pH’d water from here on out. Trichs are mostly milky and caught a couple amber today. Thinking another week or two and she should be ready to chop but will keep a close eye on everything. Has been such an easy grow so far, just didn’t end up as big as I expected but buds are really fat and frosty. Day 58 - Nothing new to really report. Going to continue giving her straight water and cal-mag. Didn’t notice much change from yesterday, thinking she might of stalled out a bit but hopefully these last two weeks she’ll really start packing on. Day 59 - Not noticing too much of a change the last couple of days, no new pistils showing and she’s starting to shrivel. There’s a few amber trichs in there but pretty much completely cloudy. Debating on a partial chop this weekend. Still flushing and giving her just water. Hopefully I can hold out chopping until the end of week 10 at least. Day 60 - She’s still looking good and REALLY frosty. Half the pictures I take almost look fake, she’s so frosty. Continuing just water to flush her out till the end. Decided I’m not gonna do a partial chop and just let her go till I think she’s done and hopefully more amber trichs. Day 61 - She’s still holding strong and still seems to be fattening a bit. Going by the trichomes, she should be ready for a harvest by the end of week 10, next weekend. Just going to continue watching her and if she needs more time, I’ll give her more time! Day 62 - No big changes, still looks like she’s on track for chopping next weekend. Will check her out again tomorrow and give her some more water. Can’t wait to start drying this girl, she’s smelling amazing. Day 63 - Last day of week 9 and she’s smelling really good. Still flushing her and think I might chop next Saturday. Will be 10 weeks total but we’ll see, continue watching the trichs.

Added 10L to the reservoir, and turned it on for a couple of minutes. 11-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 21 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 61% (highest) 52% (lowest) 12-4 Temperature: 25.5 degrees (lights on) 22 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 57% (lowest) Turned the reservoir on for a couple of minutes. 13-4 Temperature: 26.5 degrees (lights on) 23 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 56% (lowest) 14-4 Temperature: 26.4 degrees (lights on) 22.1 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 45% (lowest) Turned the reservoir on for a couple of minutes. The reservoir is almost empty, there is 850 ml left. 15-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 20 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 59% (highest) 49% (lowest) No pictures. 16-4 Temperature: 23.5 degrees (lights on) 19.5 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 53% (lowest) Today i defoliated both plants heavily for the last time, you can say i did a method called: schwazzing. Dont know why but while i was defoliating the Chemdog smelled a little bit like soap haha. Turned on the reservoir for a couple of minutes. (Till the AutoPots are full and the valve closes) Rised the pots aswell, so the canopy is very even. I let them recover from the heavy defoliation i did, and next week i will slowly increase the light's strength. (Now still at 50% 50cm)

Yooo growers 🌱, We’re 8 weeks in and let me tell you — this grow is going absolutely wild. Everything’s blowing up like weeds (the good kind, of course 😎). From the jump, the girls were full of energy, and now the tent’s starting to look like a mini jungle. I’ve been running a 300W HID in a 60x60 tent, keeping temps and humidity dialed in just right. Feeding with Green House nutrients and sticking to a solid 16-hour light schedule through veg — and man, the plants are loving it. Week by week, they just kept stacking height and packing on that lush green. Now here in week 8, things are looking prime. The structure’s solid, leaves are healthy, and I can already feel the pre-flower tension in the air. A few more days and the real show begins — flower time, baby! Couldn’t be happier with how it’s all tracking so far. Stay tuned, 'cause if veg looked like this, the bloom is gonna be straight fire 🔥 Catch ya in the next update. ✌️

12/24/18 Decided to make bubble hash with the trim and small buds from all 4 plants. The bubble hash is now drying. This plant has been a dream to grow. No problems from her at all. I even found a couple keeper phenos as well. The black magic soil and fertilizer, along with the aerated nutrient teas that these ladies were feed worked to perfection. All organic living soil is the way to go! Im not finished yet. I will update this diary soon with dry weight and a smoke report once the ladies are done drying.00000

Pictures are from Day 91. Top Gun 2 is coming to the finish line, the whole tent reeks and starting to see good amounts of amber, although the buds aren’t as solid as I was hoping for. I could harvest as soon as today. This grow has been another great experience of learning about these awesome plants. Hey hey everybody! We are back here this week at the beginning of week 13 and it is almost that time… time to flip? ….I wish…. No, no…. I am trying to be good but I think I came up with a plan that will give me a rough idea of when I will see that light at the end of the tunnel- or we’ll at least flip that light to 12/12 haha- No no it is almost Christmas and things have been crazy over here. With the holiday madness upon us, I can’t tell all of you how much I have appreciated the relative silence (you know how it is, there are multiple fans running) time seems to slow down and it just us and the plants. Quite enjoyable. So as you already know, we are going to be on coast until we fill out the rest of that 3x3 scrog net- however just today on my way into work, I came up with what might be my new definitive plan… I have had a bit of trouble waiting, no doubt it will be worth the wait, but the wait has been difficult none the less… so here it is.. Here’s what I’m thinking- I have this going and I also have some fastbuds growing in the same area. What I am most likely going to do- is wait until it’s time for the fastbuds to come down to open up some space in the 5x5 and the rock candy cake can have all that space to herself- I will shift the scrog into the center of the tent and then flip the light schedule to 12/12 and let it run wild- it’s at this point I will most likely employ a more hands off approach so it can focus all of its energy on producing buds worthy of such a wait. The canopy is getting pretty lush and I really need to get in there and defoliate- I really lucked out, today was the last day I had to work until after Christmas so you KNOW I will be in there tomorrow plucking away at leaves (strategically of course) half kidding I’m probably still a whirlwind compared to some, but I’ve noticed- especially when it comes to autos, that my leaf selection has become much more refined when defoliating. PROBABLY gonna see a BIT less of that tomorrow as I have to open up the canopy but I still plan on being careful. Something else that was super cool who may not be following along with the other journal, happened oddly enough just the other day when I was doing dishes- I was scrubbing away with my phone all propped up so I could watch/listen to dude grows. And I heard the dude mention a contest on their website that I had entered… of course my ears perked up, I leaned in a little closer to take a look and was thinking to myself how cool it would be, even to see my picture in the background and sure enough there it was and they brought it up and commented on the submission and seemed to be genuinely enthused by it and let me tell you I am STILL riding high off that one! One thing that was cool too was a rep at a nutrient company had seen that and congratulated me as well and it was again just so cool and I’m honored to have been on there! I listen to them practically everyday at work- yeah words are not doing it justice right now but I was stoked!!! Other than that, the holidays are practically upon us so I’d imagine it’ll be a whole lot of family activity with a side of unintentional neglect that I plan on keeping to an absolute minimum because we are right around the corner from some excitement in that tent- that thing is going to be HUGE! So we have that to look forward to! And on that note, I just want to say that from our home to yours, I truly hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and I can’t wait to come back and get into the garden talk with all my growmies!
