Week 13 – Ripening is now progressing slowly, as I had expected, due to my choice to provide a light stimulus that isn’t too intense but rather gentler. From flowering until now I’ve maintained 30 DLI and a steady 470 PAR. In this run, the goal has been to keep the resin thick and sticky. Humidity has been kept between 57–62% max. My lamp is an Omega Pro 300W, which I’m currently running 37% (111 W). This strategy seems to be working well: resin production has been abundant, and on this point—and not only this one—I’ve completely fallen in love with Gorilla Cookies. The aroma is exquisite, and the resin… the flowers are covered in ointment-like resin. The macro shots of the trichomes still don’t show any amber heads, so I believe harvest is probably about 10–15 days away. 🍮🤤 I think I’ll grow only Gorilla in the next run! 🦍👀 P.SThe leaf discoloration happened very quickly! The previous photos are from yesterday when it was still green — today it looks like this. Really interesting

A lot of lst this week so plants looking a bit twisted from the amount of training the claw is slowly going away now on the og found ti be very sensitive to nutrients but she has riveted and starting to out grow the rest they are now showing signs of preflower coming so iam praying for a big stretch..the gorilla melon is now in the tent ready to be vegged big enough to fill the full tent will transplant soon into a bigger pot

Well this was the last week! Had to chop her for various reasons but she’s pretty much done! I will let the pics and videos do the talking! I will update in 7 days with details of the harvest weights etc 😎

Weekly update on these big girls. I decided to take out some of the lower branches, giving more airflow at the top of the pot level. Overall they've exploded with growth this week. I'd say they're getting close to 4ft tall. I sprayed some BT spray for ipm this week since I don't want catapillers showing up unannounced. All in all Happy

I deliberately sent my 2 ladies into flower 2 months earlier. roughly the 12/12h rule. Sometimes it was 10 hours in the sun, but sometimes 12 hours. In my region it will soon be rainy and cold. I'm toying with the idea of harvesting them before I catch mold or something else. The trichomes are all milky. About 15-20% amber colored.

Hello. This the end of week 5 and the beginning of week 6 of veg. Did a little trimming on these plants last week. Getting the training going. Will be using a SCRoG method on them in the greenhouse this summer. So I want them to spread out. I topped all of them and took off 2 large fan leaves per plant, that were blocking the under branches, that were trying to push up through them. I've lowered the light to about 20 inches away, and turned it up to about 45%. So the new branches are getting lots of light. They are getting just about full strength nutrient when I water them now. Next watering will be just water though. I do 2 feedings and then a watering and they are doing good. Every couple of days I spray some mixed peppermint essential oil around in here to help keep the pest away. Pest hate the peppermint smell. Girls officaly went into pre-flower and all are confirmed female. The Orion F1 is the strongest of the bunch. All three have grown almost double the size of the other 2 strains. Epsilon is 2nd strongest growing robust and strong and the Apollo F1 have been anything but tall. Apollo F1 is a stubby bush with almost no space between nodes. I will have to defoilate here pretty heavy over the next week or so and hope the stretch comes on strong with them. Making sure to feed them supplemental nitrogen this grow after noticing a hole in N from my past feedings. Everything is on the up and up and moving along great.

Only 10 days of drying and 2.5 weeks of curing, but I'll post the smoke report: Tastes of sweet Carmel creaminess. Very smooth and great high. That's why so many strains have gelato as one of their parents. Because it's damn good. 8/10. Very happy with gelato. Harvested 3.99 ounces (111.8 grams) of primo Gelato flower. Chopped day 82 from seed in soil.

The Gorilla Melon is absolutely crushing it and keeping a very stable profile. She keeps growing beautifully and is noticeably getting bigger every day. I'm already thinking ahead about cutting her back later so she won't outgrow the greenhouse during the stretch, but for now, I am just enjoying her impressive growth as she is. Since I will be out of the office for the next 10 days, I decided to pull forward her nutrient boost by a week to make sure she is fully sustained while I'm gone. She received a solid dose of 5ml Orgatrex today. As a preventive measure, I deployed a fresh round of live lacewing larvae (Florfliegenlarven) on paper towels today since I spotted a few new bites. However, the plant is completely stable and I don't expect any issues. She is strong enough to handle everything. Before leaving, I will fill the AutoPot reservoir up to the very top to ensure she has plenty of water to drink on demand. Hoping for the best while I am away!
